The cabin of the truck smelled like weed. On further inspection there were ashes and remnants of marijuana in the cup holder. Further attention to detail on cleaning.Daniel H.

The vehicle was very dirty on the exterior. Keep flashing in the dashboard that the front safety camera was dirty and needs cleaning. It could have used a window cleaning on the interior as well. It was a cargo van and I would not expect it to be super clean but it was pretty bad.LYN P.

was swapped out of 3 vehicle transports first one - No Tag second one - wrong application third try - finally each time paperwork had to be redone and transporter was hooked up to my truck 3 times. After arriving home and was in the process of driving the SUV on to the transport OMG the transporter tongue popped off my 2" trailer ball. The trailer was not secured to my trailer ball !!!!!. I reattached and secured the tongue to my ball. The Drop off in VERO Beach - a disaster!! Being a new location they did not want to take the transporter as a drop off. Store Manager Armondo was not on site but was contacted by Sara his employee and stated "It must be a mistake". The UHaul paper work stated that i was to return the transporter to them. Overall everything was good. We did have a 'tire going flat' issue. We had to stop each day and fill it up with air. Finally I stopped and purchased some fix-a-flat. That seemed to help but it was a pain for the first couple of days since the tire did go flat each day.Matthew M.

Betty was extremely friendly. I wish there was more to say in that regard however, the other women working the front had more than enough attitude to go around. I was rudely yelled at about wearing a mask when entering in spite of two employees who were walking around and through the store repetitively not wearing one. And in spite of the mandate being lifted. During my initial opening of the storage unit and return of the Uhaul the women I was dealing with was grumpy and seemed distracted. They had to change my contract 2 times and they had no issues with it. I trailer that I needed was not available, so the changed to another smaller one, but just as I was being shown the new trailer the size the one I was looking for showed up and the girl quickly check if it had another reservation which it didn't. 2 minutes later I had new contract and was out the door. More staff, the line was long at the time of pickup AND drop off! The truck I received was unkept on the inside(radio was broken, ac knobs were missing). The truck barely had gas in it when I received it. Once I left the lot, I immediately had to go to the gas station! When returning the truck, I could barely get inside the facility because other trucks were parked for return and nobody was out front pulling them in! Only good thing was the customer service I received from Betty George. She was amazing and took good care of me! She made sure I had what I needed and I appreciate her for that!Brittany H.

If they had enough help they could designate a line for supplies instead of waiting 20 minutes for each customer ahead of you who is reserving , leaving with or returning a truck. There is a really foolish guy that work at this location. African American with gold teeth. Very unprofessional young man, started yelling at my all because I asked another worker a simple question. His language and demeanor was very very aggressive. Manager heard the shouting from the other room and did not come out to find out what's as going on. I rent lots of trucks every year and this was the most disappointing experience ever. The lady that was serving me came outside and apologized for the male staff member. I explained to her that this was ridiculous and I've never had such a bad experience like this before. This young man needs to be trained or fired.Joseph W.

Disgruntled employees carrying on a constant conversation about other employees and complaining to each other about people not showing up for work. They were pissed off and they took it out on the paying customers with rudeness and curt answers. This applies to the inside office staff. The outdoor guys were very nice. people nice. ALWAYS a line, have to wait EVERY time in Florida. booking the truck was awesome. Very convenient. The storage unit i used had an air conditioning pipe running thru the ceiling. the floor was always wet. Luckily, i could leave that area clear. Also when I went to remove my stuff, they had locked me out and said the reason was I had to use a U-haul purchased lock. I will NEVER use U-haul again for anything until that changes. I was charged for a storage that I was told by the manager that I would not have to pay the the storage that I was moved from and then I was charged for a dolly that I never received and also the manager told me that he would take care of and didn't. My overall subpar experience at this location can be approved with a better hiring profile. The staff that I've had the most unfortunate interaction with, don't seem to have graduated high school or barely skated by. I understand various unpredictable emotions have been promoted due to the pandemic. However, basic friendly (even if it's fake) communication is so lacking with the staff I've interacted with handling my storage needs. When I first arrived to this location after a lovely drive from Dallas, Texas (with my 6' x 12' Van Trailer attached to my Kia Sportage - contract # 23023104), Alicia Mitchell made a clerical error with my return date. No biggie, it can be resolved and the $80 overcharge was later refunded. My contact person's name was entered incorrectly because Alicia didn't bother to confirm the information. I understand it can be slightly difficult to understand someone who's wearing a mask, if you don't care to try. I'm an epidemiologist and I work in hospitals where we communicate clearly with masks on, while tending to patients lives. She could have turned her screen for me to view the information and confirm its accuracy, or printed out a document to confirm with me but, that's the past. Again, no biggie, but she failed to confirm my access code number. That long drive from Dallas by myself was quite taxing. Here I am ready to unload all my stuff, just need to open the door. But here's Alicia complicating a simple procedure that kindergarteners can do with ease. The issue was later resolved. My last interaction with the staff at this location finally came September 4, 2020. Contract 788052-117382 for all the deets. I had the utmost displeasure to be served by Zaria Johnson. She asked how she could help me and for my name. She located me in her computer and asked me if I knew I had to be there by 12pm. I told her, "no, I just flew in". She replies, "oh you flew here, from where?". Perplexed, not understanding the relevance of this; I tell her "Virginia". She continues, "Oh well you were suppose to be here by 12pm". I chuckle while saying, "well I got here when I got here" and I shrugged my shoulders (It's about 3pm at the time). She directs me to where I can pull my car to, and I remind her (because paying attention is seemingly not a requirement in the hiring profile for the employees I interacted with), that I don't have a car, I have a unit here. Which she should have seen in her system when she located me, but Zaria doesn't do well with paying attention. If she had, she should have been able to conceptualized that I was emptying out unit 1313, transporting those items to the U-Box and moving it to Virginia. Subsequently, she would have informed me that once I empty out my storage unit, utilize that same lock to lock my U-Box when I'm finished. But! That didn't happen. I was not informed I needed to lock the U-Box. When she walked me and my brother to the U-box (after, I suppose, her attempt to chastising me for being "late", not sure - didn't ask didn't care, fresh off the plane and we had a full storage unit to empty; in the 90 degree heat as we walked to their garage, where Zaria showed us where the U-Box is), she removed the velcored tarp from the box, opened the box and said here you go and went back inside. No instructions. No "come back inside to check out or be sure to do this", nothing no instructions whatsoever. So when I received a voice message from the manager Michael Brown the following day - after I returned back home to Virginia, that my U-Box needed a lock, I just knew these mini property managers that work here do not have the proper hiring profile to do this job successfully. I will say that Michael Brown was very attentive and patient when listening to me about my experience with his staff. To remedy the issue with the lock, he provided a lock free of charge for the U-Box, and I made arrangements for the key to be delivered to me. I appreciate him for this and for acknowledging the bad customer service that he wasn't pleased to hear about. It should come as no surprise that I will never return to this location, and even though I live in Virginia, I will most definitely tell others not to come here - if they can avoid it.Laura N. | Overall Experience

The parking lot is way too crowded. I had a drive up unit that was always blocked by Uhual equipment. It was very difficult to maneuver through the parking lot, in order to load and unload- I had to keep moving my car to allow people by. For the month rental, I may have actually driven up to my unit a total of two times.
