Agent needs computer and process training, and he was deceptive and dishonest about truck condition. He never made eye contact. He didn't know how to use the agent program. Didn't know how to locate a one-way truck. Parked the truck in a dimly-lit area, told me the truck was "almost new", handed me the key, then scampered away. Of course, the truck had 44k miles and was exterior-damaged. I could not find him. I had to use the app to dispute the condition, in the dark. Part of my order was missing, had to go back in for it. I'm deeply disappointed in this agent/location. BTW, the app showed photos of a pristine truck, not like this one, which I then had to dispute, in the dark. -- I guess U-Haul can't really be trusted anymore?David P.
Radio volume didn't work, clock was wrong couldn't fix, door didn't seal properly and was loud, windows on the inside were not clean and left a horrible film making it very difficult to see at night when headlights coming at you, rims rusted but thankfully no tire issues for usJulia G.

Truck was old but seemed to be well maintained. As with all old vehicles the engine had a ticking noise and front end had some clanking/play/rubbing. Service was excellent and people working are very helpful and nice. Newer equipment is needed to instill more confidence specially for longer trips (drove approx 350 miles to Detroit and back)carlos A.

The girls that waited on me where excellent and intelligent. They where quick to understand that I was under a time crunch. The return was a bit more challenging. There where 5 or 6 returns and the guys where busting there back sides to get everything cleaned and ready for the next rental. The key is the high number of returns with a shortage of people to help in the process of check in and cleaning the units. my overall opinion of the shop and the people that where overseeing the shop, get high marks. Wish it stated where in the parking lot the truck is at instead of wondering around. The dolly I rented wasn't in the truck and so I went inside and was told it's outside the doorâ€¦.the dolly I ordered was a standard dolly with the backing, what I got was a flat furniture moving dolly. It worked for moving out since I didn't have any large steps, but moving to my new place that had steps, the dolly was useless. Also seemed like the place was a bit unorganized, and I was surprised only two people working on a Saturday.Amanda S.

I was over charged! By uhaul. Inwas supposed to receive a 50$ credit for my equipment not being available. It ended up in an additional 50$ charge on my card not a credit. I am very displeased. And will likely not rent again.Derek S.

Was charged $200 for my $40 trailer rental because they couldn't find the trailer I returned the same day and charged me rental fees for additional days. They never called to check with me even though I scheduled to return the trailer the same day. I was refunded after I called, but had to go through the hassle of checking my bank statement the next 3-5 days to make sure I was actually refunded. I felt like it was a scam and they were trying to take advantage of me. Trailer was also pretty banged up and dirty with trash from the previous renter inside.Sean E.

The staff at this location were pleasant, courteous and helpful. I was able to access my rental quickly and drop off was a snap. When reserving the rental, I was not thrilled, however, with the 3-4 pages of upsale attempts I had to wade through in order to get it done. Truck was haven to me with an 1/8th of a tank. The gas light was on. With me having it for that day I didn't expect the first thing I had to do would be to put gas in itâ€¦ truck was dirty and not cared for at all. Breaks were grinding. Not a safe or pleasant experience at all..AUSTIN B.
I waited in like for over an hour even though I had an e check in and she had to only hand me the key. While waiting in line for all of that time she would ask questions to other customers while you were standing in front of her and completely start a whole new order in the middle of yours. While she tried to be overly friendly at times people were all clearly very annoyed with the time it took as she was not good at time management in the slightest bit. I would never ever recommend this uhaul location to anyone and I will for sure use a different location in the future. I don't know her name but she had blue hair and she loved to make sure everyone knew about it. No one really cared about her hair we were trying to get our keys to move our stuff. The tire fell off the truck I rented and it took four hours to get someone to repair it. During online checkout I checked the box that stated I don't agree with the charges and that I would like to be contacted. My credit card was charged full amount and after three days without hearing back I contacted customer service. They stated a manager would reach out to me and I have not heard back. I don't believe I should have to pay full price for faulty equipment and the time it took to get the tire repaired.Joseph D.

DO NOT LEAD CUSTOMERS ON. I received a notification that not only would the truck and trailer not be at the selected location, but they were in completely separate locations. Because of the additional driving and stops, it cost us several hundred dollars in extra labor hours because I did not have the truck on time.Steven M.
At first look the touch seemed decently clean, but when we got in the dash board and cabin was dirty and dusty, and I have allergies, so that was an uncomfortable situation. The outside was also dirty. I was over charged for furniture pads which I didn't use, we did not break the tag, and the over charged me on the miles. I rented a 26' truck. Was told that the truck would be brought up front. And it was. Fifteen minutes later I found someone to answer my questions like: am I all set to go now? Lo único del storage es que me dijeron que cabía dos cuartos y el truck cabían dos cuartos y era grande por dentro aunque estuve que dejar cosas en Mississippi. Y yo pensé que así de grande era el truck de dos cuartos así de grande sería el storage. Y no fue así estuve que poner la mitad de mis cosas y las de mis hijos en el storage y la otra mitad en mi carro y en un sótano.. Mi experiencia con todo el personal que me atendio fue muy buena. This is a very strange place. As you drive up you can see the doors for the storage units on the outside of the building, each with a unit number marked on it. But once you are there, it turns out they are fakes - just painted on a blank wall. The actual units are inside. A sign says that there is heat to keep it from dropping below 45 degrees, so if you have something that shouldn't freeze and the heater actually works that would be a good thing. The manager rented me a unit, had me pick a PIN and then led me to it. First he taught me to enter my PIN on the Check In/Out keypad, and then do it again on the Open Door keypad a few feet away. There's a notice on the Check In keypad that if you don't check out again when you leave, they will charge you a penalty fee. Then he told me I was in Section D, and led me to a staircase going up! I asked if there was a way to load in without climbing stairs, and he said there was a loading dock out back. The hallway needed someone to sweep and pick up empty bottles and such. The unit itself was swept clean, and was empty except for the rat poison dispenser. I don't know if every unit got one, or if I was just lucky. When I was ready to load in I parked at the loading dock and lifted my boxes up to it from my car. I used my PIN at two keypads to get in, opened the door - and there was a steep ramp leading from the dock to the storage level! There were carts I could use, at least. There were notices on them that I would be charged a penalty fee if I didn't put them back where I found them. I also saw that there were storage units along the ramp, the doors were at the same height as all the others, which meant that the bottom of the doors were anywhere from half a foot to four feet higher than the place you'd stand to load into them. You'd need a ladder to enter. Uh... A couple times I used the front door to enter the building instead of the loading dock. I did my business and then the door wouldn't let me out again! I tried crashing it open hard (I am not a light guy) and several different ways, but it wouldn't open. The first time this happened, I went and told the manager, and he said he knew there was a problem but they weren't able to get it fixed, and I should do whatever I had to get out when I needed to. The second time that I couldn't get it openI went out a door marked Emergency Exit Only, which took a lot of force but did open up eventually. There was a sign on it that anyone going out of it without an Emergency would be charged a penalty fee.Gerald E. | Overall Experience

However an employee named Jared was amazing and bent over backwards to be helpful and problem solve when the computer system for self-storage wasn’t working. He was apologetic for the behavior of his manager and did a great job smoothing things over with customers when his boss was rude and impatient with them. I asked for a copy and was told it was an inter office email so I could not get one. fast forward 30 days and another invoice! The check in process was fine. After getting a flat 9 mins from our location we had to wait 5 hours for roadside assistance because not only did it take almost an hour to just get a hold of someone they got our location wrong sent after waiting 2.5 hours then had to wait another hour for a guy when the job took less then 5 mins to fix.
