Chose "no coverage" declining $8.00 coverage online,..........however, U-Haul representative ADDED it back onto my rental agreement without mentioning / asking me. --------- Upon returning the trailer at 6:55 pm, an employee closed and LOCKED the front door as I was approaching (clearly saw me as I was 3 feet from the door) I simply wanted a receipt. Employee yelled "what do you want" to me without opening or unlocking the door. Made me wait outside in the cold - then had another employee (very nice lady) bring me my copy of receipt. Thought it was quite rude and unprofessional.

Picked the truck and it’s was nearly out of gas, I was promised a 27.00 gas credit, I was told the truck needed to be return with at least 1/4 tank. drove 25 miles put 30.00 in gas. Brought the truck back with 3/8 of a tank. ( photo to show miles , truck number and gas gage are available ). When I received the check-in email they removed the gas credit and charged me an additional 9.00 dollars for gas and said the truck was below an 8th of a tank. I Contacted customer service and was told I would be contacted within 3 business days. Instead I got and email from Lisa the mngr. she credited me the nine dollars but has not responded about the 27.00 gas credit. That was 2 weeks ago.

Using the online tools, it was very easy to rent the van. I like that I can check in before arriving. I was a little surprised when they did not do a walk-around (for prior damage inspection) like I've done at other locations. I was also very happy that the King size mattress we were picking up fit flat on the floor of the van. Overall a very good experience. I need a new sofa and I think we will do the same thing when it comes time to pick that one up, also.

I was returning my moving truck and they closed the store a few minutes early - before 7 pm. That forced me to call (as I did not want to pay for another day of having this rental) and ended up speaking with someone as a different location. They helped me check in my moving truck. It was a little hassle. Just stay open till your posted hours.

the Agents at this location are knowledgeable and always trying to take care of you rental experience. This location was not the closest to my need but it was the best option available. The truck I had reserved was 17’ and they gave me a 20’ at the same price. As it turned out that was what I should have reserved. The moving help.com crew I selected was Grand Valley Moving. Awesome friendly and efficient crew. I have used three crews through Moving Help.com and Grand Valley Moving is by far and away the best moving experience we have had. They showed up on time. They got the work done and had the truck loaded in one hour, not bad since we had about 80 boxes an d two bedroom apartment to move. I had selected 4 men crew for three hours.

Try to greet customers, even though you are very busy with existing customers (Hi there, welcome, I'l be with you in a minute...). Get a better sounding radio. Help customers form a line. I LOVED this location. The staff worked hard, super accommodating. My recommendations are more on the "soft skill" side of comments.

Staff was doing the best they could with slow computers and a long line. My bigger complain is with your customer service center. I made a reservation online with my contact information and credit card but listed my husband as the driver. I called a day before our reservation with some questions and the representative wouldn’t speak to me because my name wasn’t on the reservation. I know she didn’t make the policy but her general attitude was poor. I also don’t understand a policy where you have MY contact information and credit card and can provide the name listed on the reservation but you refuse to answer a simple question. Maybe it’s time to revisit your pilicies, you’re not maintaining medical records. It’s unfortunate becuause my husband and I have rented from you several times in the past but this will be the last. It’s 2018, time to step up your game.

You need more staff there on Saturday mornings. I registered online for a 10 am appointment. I did not receive help at the counter until almost 10:30. I also was not given the reminder text that was supposed to come the day before about my appointment.

The rental process was quick and efficient. The person who checked me in was friendly, worked with expertise and got me out the door and into the truck within minutes. The only glitch for me was the receipt. I opted to receive by email but it didn't get to me until late the next day.
