The pick up truck I rented kept having a light go off and saying transmission temp and it kept raising and I don’t think was working correctly. At pick up it was never explained how to do the drop off after hours with the uhaul website. This was very frustrating to me

Your people are awesome here; I've used several trucks recently, everyone is on point and knowledgeable. I recommend reserving in advance, as this is a busy location. I would also suggest adding a check-in kiosk, allowing the customers to be sorted more efficiently.

The staff at this location were actually incredible given the fact that they were short staffed. They maintained positive attitudes in the face of only two people working with a line of 20+ people out the door. They called the manager multiple times for backup but couldn’t reach her. I had a reservation at 11 but wasn’t helped until close to 12:30. Once I was helped, it was discovered that for some reason the vehicle i had reserved wasn’t available so they gave me an upgrade, which was appreciated. After I got home I realized the dolly and furniture pads I paid for were not with the truck. I called back to ask for a refund that same day and was told it needed manager approval (she apparently doesn’t work on sundays and there’s no backup manager) and that I would be called back when the refund was approved. 4 days later and no call yet. Needless to say I’m less than thrilled with management at this location.

I have used UHaul for the past two weekends. Both have had severe challenges. I am not sure if I could recommend UHaul in good conscience. The Burlingame location was good, and the staff helpful, but the experience with U-Haul overall was extremely poor, and financially misrepresented.

Trailer worked great and the cost was very fair. The female employee on July 1 was very nice even when she was completely overloaded with around 10 customers waiting. She was great, wish she had another employee to assist.

Train your people working there to be more efficient and a little faster. There were two workers that did not know how to work the computers and they ended up calling someone else to come in...thank goodness. I had to wait over 2 hrs to get my trailer I rented and once it was my turn it took less than 5 mins to walk out the door. I did everything online as far as paying, put my license #, truck license plate...everything and it still was over 2 hrs.

Jonathan was a excellent employee of Uhaul. He was able to explain every aspect and answer all our questions. It was a hot day and we were waiting in line. But he made worth it, my husband and I were pleased.

I have been to this location twice on a Sunday the first time was a one hour wait. This last time was two hours. The location was way under staffed. The two that were working were doing the best they could, but it was one issue after another. Trucks were not checked in from the night before, hand helds locking up, missing keys. They had to enter my information 3 times when that was complete we went back to hook up my trailer it was know where to be found, so we had to start over.

We were overcharged for our mileage. Waited in store for a half hour and there were no employees present for nearly all of it. We never received a receipt that stated the mileage we would be charged (70 miles). Adding up all of our driving doesn't even come close to half of that.

I was told the gas gauge was 3/8 of a tank. It was not. It was 1/4 of a tank. I think this is deliberately done to mislead and inflate the customers costs.

This location was understaffed. The line to return my truck and dolly took over an hour to get to the top of. I could not pull my uhaul into the location because there were trucks backed up in the intake lane-- and cars backed up in the street waiting to get in behind parked uhauls in the entrance to the location. This location needs better staffing and more parking so that the trucks don't back traffic up, so that customers don't have to drive around the neighborhood for a while until there are spots available to pull in, and so that customers don't have to wait for so darn long just to return equipment.

The staff was very professional and tried to help everyone as quickly as possible, given that there was only two of them on what seemed to be an unexpectedly busy Sunday before the 4th of July. My only comment regarding this would be to try and have more staff on holiday weekends when the holiday is in the middle of the week.
