The representative named Isaiah was great and did everything that he could to help me when I returned to vehicle. The mileage was way off. I failed to check the mileage when I first rented it but I was charged for about 80 miles when I only used about 15 miles and no refund was ever given to me. I then received a text telling me the vehicle was at another location at least 15 miles away. This is terrible, unacceptable customer serivce. I would recommend this location based solely on Christian the gentleman who helped my return my trailer. He was polite, pleasant, helpful, everything you would want from an employee. What is a problem is the U-Haul Customer Service process. I tried to call to give a compliment regarding Christian. The first time I was going to have to wait 12 minutes to speak with somebody, second call was going to be another 12 minute hold. Third time I decided to wait on hold for 14 minutes (after calling the store directly and still being routed to the main customer service number). After waiting for 14 minutes I informed the representative that I wanted to leave a compliment, she had to refer me to another rep. and placed me on hold for another extended time. I had another meeting so I had to disconnect. If customer service is a priority at U-Haul, there should be more effort placed on hearing from the customer directly without such effort.ERIC K.

I was over charged: I was charged cleaning fees when in fact we returned the truck cleaner than we received it. I was charged for cleaning and gas. When I received the truck the gauge was at 1/4 tank, spent over $160 for gas (JUST TO DRIVE FROM GA TO NC) and I was still charged $36 for gas. I would like to be refunded the unauthorized charges of $88. On top of that I should receive a discount for all the inconvenience.JOY V.

I went to pick up my truck and it was not available. I went to the store and was bum rushed by a stout man yelling that the store was closed. After I stood my ground and told him I did not have the keys to the right truck he exclaimed â€œI DONT GIVE A FUCK WHAT THE SYSTEM SAYSâ€ and threw the keys at me. I then proceeded to the truck and realized I didn't have the appliance dolly I order. I went back to the store and the same man yelled at me that they were closed. Absolutely unacceptable. I made clear when I picked up this vehicle I would be dropping it off in another town. Do you not change reservations in person? I wasn't even given my uhaul at the time it was supposed to be schedules for at 730 am because no one has prepared the vehicle for me, so it's a bit unfair to say these things don't change on a case by case basis depending on what I told you in person. I will absolutely not tolerate being charged this 700+ dollars for a service that I did not ask for. I have been on hold with your company for over two hours today. Unfortunately due to the lack of staff in the office, it took me over an hour to have someone check me out. The manager on duty (older female AA woman with a tattoo on her right forearm, name begins with a D) sat in the next seat, and didn't assist the person behind the counter. When I asked her if I was checked out, she called someone outside and referred to me as "this lady in a green and black dress". To be referred in this manner instead of a customer made me feel belittled. So I was extremely embarrassed since there were other customer. Even while checking out via the app, I still needed to get a picture of the mileage and the man on staff would not come to the van so I can complete the task. I tried to go back inside and once the manager seen it was me that walked in, she stood up and went downstairs. Mind you my family is waiting outside with my 5 yr old grandson. So my daughter came in and that's when the manager decided to check me out and give me a receipt. Never have I ever been treated so unfair. They were swamped with customers and badly understaffed. Apparently a bunch of trucks had just been dumped at this site from another facility, there was a problem with the employee actually finding the truck I was rented...... On top of that the check in function out my phone would not work and cost me over an hour and a half till I actually pulled out of the lot with my truck. The woman working behind the counter was excellent trying to deal with a very hectic situation, but much like all the people that were put on hold when they tried to phone in (never to be talked to again), it was a frustrating experience for all.......Raymond U.

First I made the appointment online for mobile check in. But the reservation wasn't in the app, that i downloaded from the instruction of the website. I had to wait an hour in the store to talk to the guy, who was very nice, because there was a ridiculous line and the location was not well staffed. This was my first time doing a return Uhaul vehicle online. I accidentally put the car keys in the key drop box when I realized that I needed yo take some pictures The location store was closed BUT the manager and associates where still there. I was waiving and trying to get someone's attention to ask for help on how to do the return online and the response from manager and associates were â€œwe're closedâ€ and proceeded to continue moving trucks and other stuff at this location. Then one of the associates comes over to me and asked me if I could move the truck up some more and I then proceed to tell him â€œoh so now you can talk to me?!â€ associate then starts to argue with me by trying to say there were close and cannot help me complete the return online on my phone that they could not speak to me. I then get upset and tell him to move the truck himself since he cannot help me and the manager then as gettho as she looks starts to curse at me and so I cursed her back. The people who work here are rude, not clean appearance and have NO customer service manners. I paid this location to remove my car from the tow dolly. The employee assigned to do this made a rookie mistake and unlocked the tow from the truck in the process of detaching my car from the tow. When he instructed me to drive my car off the tow, the tow dolly flipped off of the truck which caused my car to drop hard to the ground and the entire front frame of the car came off.Gervonna S.

The GM at this location should be fired. I signed up online for an immediate pickup and for some reason, something got screwed up and I had to then stand in line. In 1 hour 10 minutes in line with only four people in front of me, she serviced three of then. She then told the line of now about 10-12 people that she would be right back. Twenty minutes later, two employees came in for their shift and started helping the customers. The GM never returned. I will NEVER use U-Haul and especially this location ever again. You should fire this woman. To even charge for me for this is a joke. I have already started telling everyone I know about my experience, plus with my wife being a realtor, your customer service (or extremely lack thereof) is being shared with everyone! Really a pathetic experience. 1. My hitch install appointment was scheduled a week in advance for 730am. This location doesn't have their installer come until after 8am. 2. I arrived at 715am. There were three people in front of me. Nobody from UHAUL greeted us until 739am. We just stood around in the lobby. 3. I was checked in prior to the installed arriving. I said I wanted to talk to the person first to make sure I liked the hitch that I had picked out in advance. I had to wait until they arrived after 8am. 4. When the installer finally arrived, he took me to the garage to find the hitch that I had reserved for installation. He couldn't find it. The computer said they had one on site, but he couldn't find it. I looked too, I couldn't find it. 5. They offered a comparable hitch that they had (same specifications, but a discontinued model) that was priced $50 higher. I asked if they would honor the contract price, they said I would have to pay the difference of the alternative hitch. 6. The manager said she would find out if any other local sites had the hitch I reserved, so I could get that one at the regular price. I had to leave at this point (930am) and was told I would receive a call from them to confirm if they found the original hitch at another site and which hitch they would install. 7. After noon, I still hadn't heard from them. I tried calling the store directly but they had forwarded all calls to the central customer care. I spoke with someone there who said they would send messages to the store to have them call me back with an update. I still hadn't heard anything by 130pm so I called the store again, again was forwarded to customer care, and was told again they would pass the message directly to the store's GM. 8. Minutes later I received a notification that the work was done. I was never told which hitch was installed or whether I would have to pay $50 more than the contracted cost. When I arrived, I waited for about 20 minutes before finally checking out, somehow $5 cheaper than the contracted cost. 9. Every interaction with the manager was painfully awkward. She complained to me about how busy they were (not very busy in my opinion), that the trucks were blocking the entry, that one of her workers wasn't doing his job, and that some third party electrician wasn't able to explain to her what they were there to fix. I also witnessed her twice pick up the phone (apparently no longer being forwarded), say "UHAUL, hold please", then never pick the phone back up. Presumably those people are still on hold to this day. 10. Our city has a mask policy right now. Lots of customers not wearing masks. In the morning, the manager was asking customers to wear masks and giving them to those that didn't have them. By the afternoon, it seemed nobody cared anymore. I saw two workers walking through the lobby unmasked themselves. 11. Overall, the GM needs to take a hard look at his people and practices. This was one of the worst service experiences I have ever experienced. Why allow people to schedule 730 appointments if the installer won't be there til 8? 12. So far, the quality of the install seems fine. At least that seems to have been done well.jMatthew S.

The woman checking everyone in on the morning of 8/14/21 was extremely rude, can't multi-task and easily frazzled. A woman was trying to simply ask her if she accepted cash, but she shut her down immediately and never answered her. My wife had to tell the lady that they did take cash. She also reprimanded a gentleman who got one of the hand trucks and basically told him to put it back since it was for pay. The truck he purchased was supposed to come with one but did not have it in the truck. The front desk lady simply is a bad representative for Uhaul and your company will loose business because of this. She has zero customer service skills.Jason H.

The items arrived weeks late, and the traffic control manager in Arizona treated me very poorly when she mismanaged my order and did not reserve my boxes for the move. We received a truck with a nail in the tire. The tire pressure was low, they filled it up, but didn't noticed the tire had a nail. We took the truck. The next day we had to wait 4 hours along our route to get the tire replaced. But when we got back, U-Haul made good on the problem. ðŸ˜ŠJulia C.

Only addition I would make, make the out door storage lit up a little more. I am not sure what camera setup there is outdoor storage but I every time I went in before daylight, it was always dark. Management at this facility has been very helpful and accommodating. On Sunday I found the young man that helped me was not overly friendly and didn’t communicate enough. As my there was confusion around my storage reservation, he had to contact his manager (who was not working). Of course this was not a problem, but it would have been less frustrating for me if the associate would have just communicated more information about his dialogue with his Manager. It would have helped us out to have someone there for a later shift that could assist us. It took us a long time to return the uHaul truck we rented, because we finally finished unloading it and the office hours had just ended. The app would not work on my phone at all, so rather than having someone right there that could help, we were on hold for forty minutes with the uHaul company. One we finally got through to someone, we had a forty minute phone call with a representative just to do this process of returning the truck. It was really hard to go through that after being totally exhausted from loading and unloading the truck that day. Overall great customer service, clean place, we were happy.
