My experience here with the customer service agent (manager?) was one of the worst I have ever witnessed. The man was not good at dealing with customers - he was confrontational and rude when a customer told him there had been a homeless man in the van they were going to rent. Instead of hearing the customer’s concerns and responding in a thoughtful and professional manner, he got angry and frustrated, wouldn’t even allow the second guy to talk, and sent them outside. I was embarrassed that I had to witness his initial behavior, but it then got worse. While he was working on my order, he talked on the phone to another employee about the situation with the other customer, and when that customer came back in, he began arguing with him again, in front of everyone. I spoke up in a calm tone and told him he was being confrontational and that maybe it would help if he tried being polite. He continued yelling over me at the other customer. I suggested again that he needed to be polite. He then got angry at me, and proceeded to tell everyone in line that if they didn’t like “it” they could go somewhere else. He then gave me back my drivers license, went to another computer, and called for the next customer. I was appalled at his horrible, childish behavior. But I remained calm (and shocked) and I waited while he helped the “next” customer. After several minutes his anger had diffused and when he approached me again I handed him back my drivers license and asked if he was ready to continue, and that we were there for a truck and weren’t leaving without a truck. So he continued with my order. I apologized to him for upsetting him. He thanked me and apologized for getting upset, and said he knew I was just trying to make the situation better. He wasn’t a bad person, but he did not handle the “non”-situation well at all. He should have apologized to the customer that there had been a homeless person in their van and should have made them feel heard. Instead he got immediately defensive when they asked for a refund and it escalated from there. Perhaps customer service agents aren’t trained to work with customers anymore, but this gentlemen needed some training, or a different job.

Homeless person was sleeping in back of van I rented. When I informed the staff at the location, the person behind the counter laughed at me and said he wouldn't refund the charges. Worst customer service I have experienced in awhile. Staff was angry and yelling at other customers

Having better lighting and having the key return at the front. I didn't feel safe doing the check in. It was too dark to feel comfortable in that part of town and it was not well marked for key return.

When I arrive to location on Capital Blvd on Oct.13th, there was a homeless man sleeping in the front of the truck. I screamed and immediately told the male representative.The truck was unlocked with a homeless man sleeping.

When I picked up my vehicle, Derrick was very helpful and professional. My only complaint was that the location seemed understaffed. I picked up around 1:00pm on a Sunday afternoon, and only one person (Derrick) was working at the counter. A queue of people formed, and Derrick was working through the line very efficiently. However, it would have been nice not to wait as long.

I got charged for a damage that could have possibly been done by someone else. I was told to look around the vehicle for any damage prior to renting, but was not told to look inside where a dent is present.

The clerk who checked in my 15" truck started nickel and dimeing me as soon as I pulled in. He said I was a few miles over the allotment even though I drove directly and didn't take the truck off of the shortest route. Then he said I was short on fuel. I responded that the check-in clerk said to return it with a little more than a quarter of a tank, but he said it was right on a quarter tank and charged me an additional $ 7.00. Ridiculous...I am going to try budget next time.

Just let reservations know that early morning pick ups on the weekend might have to wait a few minutes, it gets busy. Overall things went very smoothly.

Waited outside for 10 minutes before I went inside to only see two employees sitting down and seemed like I bothered them when I walked in. Unprofessional and was hit with extra fees that was not explained. Unsatisfactory.

The team at this uhaul is incredibly well trained. I've been renting from this location for ten years and they have always been exceptional. There is a young man at the front desk who is an incredible young man. I have seen him with the most difficult clients and he is always composed. He is a young African American this young man he deserves a raise, a gift, he deserves something special because he always does an incredible job. I don't know his name but I've been a teacher for 21 years and this young man carries himself in such a professional manner that there are school principals that don't have his rapport and wisdom and manners in understanding how to treat a human being. 9195937602 is my number if someone would like to speak with me. I would give him a gift myself but I don't have any money.

They quoted one price and then overcharged for the pads and Dolly’s. The bill was 200 dollars more than they quoted. We will never use u- haul again
