Be more prompt. It took me 40 minutes to pick up a trailer that I had already reserved, and paid for, after standing in the sun for 10 minutes just to get someone to hook up the equipment. The process was excruciatingly slow.

Initial location 1702 Mechanical Blvd. did not have any equipment available, so I had to drive an additional 30 miles to get to a location that had a truck available. Mary from traffic was very rude to me on the phone telling me "I can lower your rate from .99/mile to .69/mile---take it or leave it. All in-store employees were friendly and helpful, but overall, a complete failure on the routing/traffic systems of U-Haul.

If I fill out paperwork online, actually speed up the process. Peak times, utilization etc. Is not a valid excuse in 2018. Upgrade the POS machines, scanners and printers. Its frustrating for clients and employees to deal with.

0you need to hire more people the process is too dang on long..1 man to help 8 people waiting in line no one else at the counter, the 1800 uhaul number is a freaking joke no one never picked up the phone I called 3 times 2 different days unti l I finally had to go to the dam uhaul ...customer service stinks big time

My two main concerns were: 1. The price I had been quoted online was much higher when I went to pick up the truck and trailer. My confirmation email did not have the price listed. I felt it was a bait and switch and I was not pleased. 2. We were renting a car trailer and I would have loved a demonstration on how to secure the tires with the straps. I ended up finding a You Tube instructional video.

The vehicle pick-up process was incredibly slow due to the computer system. It took me over an hour to get processed. The staff at the site did everything that they could think of to speed things up.

While not this locations fault, I reserved for my pickup at this location in March 2018. A few days before the date, I was notified to pick up at the New Bern location -- not convenient to me. The New Bern location people called and were very helpful but couldn't transfer the request back to Capital Blvd even though they had the equipment.

The equipment was great. The customer service was good also. Waiting a hour and a half to check out is a real problem. Especially when you've already reserved equipment online days prior. If your system has issues you should have a backup plan,you don't!
