Poor customer service, we had a price match paper that the assistant manager signed the manager was very rude she didn't want to look at it and wouldn't listen to anything we got to say she went inside her office and never came out waited for an hour for her.... all she kept saying was this is my location and I do whatever I want... .

Change the hi mileage rate if you pay for gas way pay mileage too if sure be a flat rate no extra for miles what you are doing is called dubble dipping it's not fair

before sending the customer off with their rental, the UHaul person should double-check the paperwork to ensure all the supplies and blankets and boxes they ordered were loaded into the rental vehicle.

Everyone one that I came in contract there were super great, not only to me, but with all the other customers who came in while I was there. They were respectful, friendly and worked quickly to help get you in and out, but each person would ask if there was anything more they could do to help. They even upgraded me to the next size up trailer. They all need to be Highly commended for their courtesy and professionalism.

Upon picking up our reservation, the saleswoman at the 28th Street location in Grand Rapids, MI, said she would allow us to keep the truck until the next day 7pm for an extra charge. Which we were fine with the charge. The next morning she called me and said we needed to return the truck and that it was reserved, and retracted her previous authorization for me to keep the truck another day. I told her it is full of inventory and being unloaded and we needed it all day, and would return it before 7pm as agreed. She then said she would call the police and report it stolen, and also said she would have it towed at our expense from our business. I told her I was keeping it as agreed with the extra charge and called U-Haul to file a complaint. The location manager did call me later after my initial complaint and said yes we can keep it until 7pm and no they are not allowed to call the cops on us but if you want to escalate this we can escalate this (in a harsh threatening tone). This was a very upsetting experience for us as we are in the middle of moving over $500,000 in inventory to a new warehouse and it couldn’t wait, and thought we could count on a hassle free move with U-Haul.

The drive in drop off lane was so helpful. The attendant met me as I pulled up. I was in and out in less than 3 minutes.

The trailer was dirty on the outside....I mean muddy dirty. Inside was OK. They failed to review the condition with me before sending me on my way and the link to the photos and the condition report did not work. Also the rep who was hooking me up was physically unable to hook it up.

I reserved 12 pads but these were not on the truck. The gas tank was 3/4 full when I picked up the truck. I drove the truck 9 miles and returned the truck with the gas tank 3/4 full as instructed. I was charged $34.00 for fueling to fill the tank. I contacted uhaul at 751053_GM@uhaul.com by email as instructed to dispute the charge and received no response.

When I picked up my trailer...one csr told me I could return my hitch adapter that I purchased there...when I returned a few days later to return the hitch adapter...a different csr (in front of the previous csr ) declined and told me no...no consistency with company policy...I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

They let me leave without a working right turn/brake light. I am sure it was the fuse in my truck as I didn't have the light on it either. I was three hours late on the return due to fixing the issue on my return trip once I realized what was happening. The manager Kelsey basically told me I was lying that the tech would not have let the trailer leave without working lights. She then said, "Whatever, I don't care, give him a refund for the extra day." She then walked off in a huff and didn't say anything to me. I have rented many many times from this site, I have always gotten excellent service. I am greatly disappointed in the way Kelsey treated a loyal customer.

There were trucks and trailers all over the parking lot. It was difficult to get into the parking lot and then hard to find a place to park the trailer. The place had closed just an hour before we go there - they could have moved or rearranged prior to closing. Although it would probably be a good place to pick up a trailer since they seem to have a lot of inventory.

The girl that waited on us did not know her job very well and took much longer and horrible service. Would never use that U-HAUL store again. She never went over the truck with me for any damage what so ever. Need to know the job she is doing..................

The staff were friendly and helpful, but one of the trailer lights was faulty. In addition, the trailer we returned was not checked and promptly and we were incorrectly charged for an additional day. This matter has not yet been resolved.

The awning and supporting poles in the customer drop-off area made it tight to maneuver my truck with the trailer attached. The guy who helped me unhook was friendly and he hustled to juggle several customers and equipment at once.

At check-in I did not get a receipt. Checked on line 90 minutes later, still no receipt. Called customer support and was told the trailer is not checked in. After investigating they told me the asst general manager agreed it is checked in and will email me a receipt. All this after a LONG hold time. Waiting on email now.

The dash board lights did not work. I picked up the truck early but it was light enough out I did not notice then on the way to drop off I could not see the speed or gas gauge. I also picked up at 3/4 of a tank and returned with 7/8 and was charged. 7.50 fuel fee. The paper work said 7/8 but only 3/4 in the tank. I filled to 7/8 and was still charged.

Q2 was equipment clean, it was dirty on the outside, clean on the inside. I didn't really bother me at all, but I wanted to answer the question correctly. Also, when I picked it up, I was told it had just over a half of tank of gas and I'd need to refuel to that point. When I got in the vehicle, It was just below half, not over. I ran back in and told the gal working and she said she'd adjust it on the paperwork internally. I asked if I needed to bring my back in or get a reprint and was told no.I see on my receipt I was charged $3 fuel sale ( I only drove it 31 miles). I was also charged tax, and it was for a non profit fundraising event.

This visit was one of the best experiences I have had at this location. A new assistant manager was very nice and accommodating - actually brought the van I was renting to the front of the store. It was very refreshing.

My only complaint is on the day I moved out of the lockers I was in line in the office/store area behind two other customers for 25 minutes. 20 minutes of which there was no staff at all there.
