Online picking up after hours doesn’t work. Go to pick it up the next day and the guy isn’t there. I did speak with a lovely woman who helped me. But it wasn’t a good experience.

Trailer was dirty. I took picture upon pick-up to ensure I was not charged for cleaning. When I made reservation via phone, I was to have the trailer for 11 days. When I picked up, was only for three (3) days. The person at pick-up called and was able to get me six (6). Wasn’t very impressed with disconnect between call center and local site. The person at the pick-up site gave me impression that i was a bother, not a customer. She also reaked of cigaret smoke.

The Ford van did not handle well at all in the snow. It was a nightmare...I got stuck in the smallest amount on snow.....snow my small little Saturn woudln't get stuck in.

I was disappointed in the vehicle. It was very poorly maintained and there were signs the vehicle was in need of urgent maintenance. The inside was very dirty and the alignment on the vehicle was completely off. Furthermore, there was a noise in the front end of the vehicle which may be a sign of some mechanical issues. I am disappointed that I paid over a $100 for this vehicle.

I had reserved a truck online but during check in it appeared that they did not have any of my information. I was forced to select a different drop off facility other than the one I had selected during my online reservation. Once the check in process was complete, I was handed a key and sent on my way. The truck was never started for me and the windows had frost on them since it was January. While I was waiting for the truck to warm up, I watched another rep scrape the windows for another customer.

I'm very disappointed in being cheated on gas I was told the truck was on full. I thought that the beginning of the gray shaded area was full. When it actually was between full and 3/4 of a tank. So of course because I signed the contract I HAD to put the truck on full when it was never really full from the beginning. A waste of @4-5 gal. Also while driving on the highway the windshield wipers did not work properly nor the windshield wiper fluid I had to pull over a few times to clean the windshield because I couldn't see. I've rented from u haul on plenty of occasions. It may be time to seek other options for the future

I rented a van to purchase a queen mattress and base and deliver to our home. It had snowed/sleeted overnight and I was concerned about items getting soiled, even though wrapped in plastic there were a few tears in it. The customer service agent who took care of me told guy prepping van to throw in a couple of quilts. I did end up needing them and was grateful for her going above and beyond.

When handed the paper work at the beginning of the rental process, the employee highlighted a line on the gas guage. On my drive back to return the vehicle, I refilled the gas to the highlighted line. During the return process the employee stated that thee would be a fuel charge. I was shocked as I literally just put gas in back to the highlighted line on the paper work. The employyee them stated that the edge of the highlight was the fuel line, not the line itself. I felt that this fuel evaluation process was unclear when I was handed the paperwork and open for wide interpetation at the return. In the end, I felt like U-Haul was cheating me out of $4 becuase they could and know that I was not going to drive to a gas station to put in the 1 galllon of gas that the employee stated that I was short. That experience soured ther whole rental experience for me. It wasnlt the $4, it was feeling manipulated by your process.

We stood in line for quite a while before we were able to get our truck even though we had a reservation. However, everyone was so nice and gave us a discount. Our move went perfect thanks to them!

I rented a car dolly to pull my PT Cruiser the 2 guys that worked there did not know how to strap my car on to the dolly. I was so frustrated and fearful because I was driving 800 miles. All they had to get was go get help from the female worker who finally came out to show them how to strap the car on. The employees were nice and friendly but please don't pretend to hook up a dolly when you don't. I had to back my car down and start over (which took over 30 minutes reving up my car because it would not back down due to snow and ice. I normally have an excellant experience here and will again. This was just a bad experience I hope never happens to anyone else. Gina

I usually don’t respond negatively but my 4 door Impala performs better in snow than this truck. Rear wheel drive trucks should not be driven in snow. Truck got stuck in my driveway (same driveway I drove my Impala out of to get the truck). Not satisfied with equipment & would not recommend to anyone who has to drive in snow or ice.
