The reservation process was not very good, I told the agent where I needed to pick up the trailer and she arranged for a location about 2 hrs away from my location. When I saw the paperwork more than a week before the rental I called again, they told me it wasn't a problem that was the regional hq and they would call me with a closer location. When the did call me they said I had bad information and they transferred me to Denver. A bit frustrating.

Manager was a jerk. I had 2 small items to throw away and he wouldn't let me use the dumpster. He said “ there is no dumping here” I said “ I'm not dumping, I'm a customer and I had stuff in the cab” he said “ there is no public dumping” I again told him “ I rented a truck, I'm dropping it back off” he told me “ no public dumping” made my friend take the 2 items out of the dumpster and he proceeded to close the dumpster and lock it. He was a short, Spanish guy with a beard, and dark hair. He sent an employee out prior to tell us no public dumping then proceed to do what was explained. He came out with 4 other employees as if to try and intimidate us.

Extremely disappointed with customer service. Picked up trailer and didn't notice during walk around tie down strap was mostly missing. Had to return and pick up a different. Manager blamed us for tearing off the strap, and refused to compensate for time spent running back and forth

Your employees are not very friendly. This is a big process for some people. You need to get people who are friendly and make you feel like you're being taken care of and help calm you not make your anxiety go up.

Inside the box was clean. The outside was covered with road grime. The worst thing was inside the cab had snack food that I kept finding melted. Would it hurt to clean the cab? It would have significantly improved my trip.

The websites and the stores clearly don't match up. Every time I wanted something on the website it was unavailable. Went into the first uhaul location and I got everything I needed. Use the website for pricing but talk instore for availability

The guy who was supposed to check my out was completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I needed to run in to use the restroom before taking my things out of the truck and turning in the key. I am 7 weeks pregnant and just grabbed the key, left my things and ran inside. He kept trying to have me just hand over the key even when I said twice, my things are still in there, I just need to use the bathroom, I'll be right back. He made it about his ego and kept saying '"do you really think I'm going to steal your stuff?" - I literally left everything but the key - my phone, wallet, laptop, passport - I wasn't going to leave the key with anyone right before flying out of town. When I went inside, the bathrooms were out of order. I went back outside to this man and was greeted with an entire lecture. I tried to keep it very respectful and while I didn't need to explain myself at all - I kept reiterating that I am not going to leave all my things with anyone, even an employee, and he just kept arguing. He made it into this whole argument which did not need to happen. Then he started calling me SWEETIE. That's when he lost my respect. I'm not your sister, I'm not your friend, do not call a grown woman 'sweetie.' It is infantilizing and demeaning. I'm sure he only pulled that out because he was clearly losing his argument. He then dropped it after I told him "do not call me or any other woman you do not know sweetie" and walked away without checking me out and giving me my receipt. I then went inside to speak with the two women asking if I was supposed to check out with them. They apologized and handled the situation, then checked me out. They also let me use a different bathroom. The women were great, the guy outside was a nightmare.

I made my reservation down in Parker,CO 2 weeks in advance and the day before I was supposed to pick up the trailer you guys called and moved my reservation 40 minutes away one way. The person on the phone did not care what so ever what kind of position this put me. Totally unacceptable!!!

The guy who came out to get the truck keys from me was very rude. I was in a hurry or I would have gone in to speak to a manager. If he worked for me and I heard him speak to a customer like that I would fire him on the spot.

Some of the instructions about how to access the building were not so clear. Maybe have someone walk new people over to show them how to gain access. The guy at the front kept asking us if we were "checked in" after our key card wouldn't work. But he never explained what that actually meant. We had no idea we had to scan the card on the right side of the building then scan on the left to open the doors. Kinda frustrating.

I looked online a few days before and the rental was $225 but online they could not guarantee availability so I thought I would wait until the day before. The price more than doubled to $450+. I have no plans to use U-haul again unless I have to.

I paid for 30 miles upfront I ended up going 42 miles, so I went over 12 miles I brought it back with a full tank of gas. They charged me an extra $52 dollars.

Access code provided did not work. Drove across the country for a move and we were locked out of the building. Another group arrived and had the same issue. After hours number for manager is disconnected. Site is littered with trash and sketchy people wandering around the building. Trying to speak with local store on the phone is nearly impossible. I'm told that when they are too busy, calls are forwarded to central line. When I call the cell number that is listed for manager, it is disconnected. When I ask for an email for local store, I am told that it is not possible to provide one. When I ask for a return phone call, I do not receive one. When I go to uhaul.com chat, no one responds on the other end. Any suggestions on how to speak with local location on the phone?

Checked in online and got access code to the building as well as a locker number, but once we arrived after traveling across the country, after office hours on Sunday evening, the access code DID NOT work. So we then paid for a second locker online and checked in online again, and again we received a locker # and an access code to the building - and that one again DID NOT work! We called U haul customer service and after 40 mins on hold, they could not help us, we tried reaching the facility manager as his number was listed as an emergency number “reach out after hours for emergency” and his number was disconnected. We got into a building because other customers let us in, as we were standing there at 7pm with a trailer full of stuff to store. We accessed our lockers we paid for, alarm went off every single time we opened it, but nobody showed up to check in on it (not even once)! Some other people showed up with access code too and it did not work for them either.. If you can’t provide storage services, then don’t do it and stick to hauling.. we are moving out within the next few weeks and taking our business and money elsewhere. Thank you!

Location is littered with trash. Location manager is disorganized and rude. For example, the manager's after hours cell number is posted in multiple locations but the number is disconnected or turned off (does not even ring when when called). Sketchy people hanging our at the property and while we we there the alarm went off multiple times but no one ever checked on the property to make sure everything was okay. I was given an access code that did not work and had to be let into the building by another customer. Another group showed up and had the same experience.

Everytime i use this location, i ask the facility help to remove the two wheel hand truck since i want that extra space and don't need it. The facility has a older gentleman in the yard that usually helps me and i ask kindly and say please. Every time he acts disgusted and is very standoff to my request no matter how nice i act. I find that very troubling that this person has such a chip on their shoulder when it comes to caucasian individuals. This is the only negative thing i continue to experience at this location. Thanks for asking!

From the initial point of contact with this location and it’s technical errors of payments not being set up correctly. To be treated like crap just to throw away two items. At the end of the rental i was accused that I could be shutting out another person rental. It that were to happen. They would of have to have access to the building, access to the lock, then storage container was verified by employee. If all of these steps were done then how could o close out another person unit? Given the fact the system showed I’ve been to two other U-Haul locations that day. One including the rental truck used.

The truck was smelling cigarettes to start with, wind shield and everything was dirty. I got rained on I70 with shitty windshield vision and wipers were not performing well that was NOT SAFE. On top of that, the gas tank was showing 5/8 when I got into the truck while your record was showing between 5/8 and 3/4, I have photos from the gauge at pick up and drop off, exactly the same and yet I got charged due to your inaccurate record.

All the employees were really nice. There was an issue that would've resulted in me paying extra for gas when I turned in the truck, but I showed the UHaul employee a picture of when I first got in the truck and verified that I filled it back to the correct level. He rectified the situation and I didn't have to pay anything extra and made it super easy for me! Much appreciated

I called and asked what would happen if I needed to extend my rental for a couple hours. The gentleman who answered said someone else was scheduled to pick it up at the exact same time I was supposed to drop it off. When I asked what would happen if I was late, he said "we will start recovery processes." Really? No other options? This was extremely frustrating as I had been moving all day, needed to see if there was an option to extend and instead of providing any kind of solution or being KIND you immediately go to starting a "recovery process." Customer service is a thing.

The truck was dirty. And was so rough. The engine sounded like it was going to explode. Took way way to much gas. Basically was lied to. The worst ever. And was charged the wrong amount. I jumped thru so many hoops for this move. And then to top it off had to drive my car after it was supposed to be towed. I need more of a refund comp for all the hoops and shit I had to go thru. Staff was rude. At store and on the phone.

UHaul failed in communicating with me, the customer, at all junctures of this move. My container was damaged in transit; I was overcharged and had to continuously call for refunds; the container was moved three times without my knowledge; and I had to have a moving company (who did a great job, in spite of UHaul) get the container to a storage facility to be done with UHaul. While the container was delivered to the move site timely and we received great help at the beginning of the trip, the follow up and customer service during and after the move was far below anything I would recommend.

The issue with broken/damaged items was due to the 2 men and a truck crew that packed the pods. *Not* the crew that unloaded them. Because of the packing of the pods many things were broken/boxes were crushed. If I could change the rating for that crew I would. The crew that unpacked the pods did a great job.

Customer service and facility were great at both locations. My problem was the truck I drove from Bryan Texas to Denver Colorado was the raggedy truck I’ve ever drove I called about the trailer tire , I even called about the check engine light being on and it was leaking fluid but they told me to drive it anyways. It kinda hurt but me and my family made it safely and was greeted with a smile.

Reaching the office via phone was not possible ffor 2 business days, and no message option was allowed despite the recording stating there was. Unit Doors are flimsy and pricing is a llittle on the high side. I bought a code lock, but was still charged for a key lock that I never received.

WHY DO I HAVE TO ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS? i don't have an answer for all your questions. I only answered all of them so I could finish with this ridiculousness. The only reason I'm getting this request now is because I finally added this storage unit to my online account. I've had this particular unit for over 9 months (I didn't just "move in") and have a unit in Gilbert AZ also. I don't understand why companies are sooooo..... concerned about their customer service after services are rendered. The customer service starts at the door. I've been using U-Haul for DECADES, literally; both storage units and trucks. Why are you so interested in my opinion now? you haven't been for the last 26 years.

When I called to make the reservation I was told if it was not local my first month would be free. When I arrive I was charged. When I asked the manager to review the tape of the call he wouldn’t and he charged me. The prerecorded message says something to the fact “this call the be monitored and recorded to keep us honest”. That’s a lie. Andrea has great great customer service and she’s the only reason I’ve continued to use this place

Everyone there was wonderful. The prior manager Mr Hernandez was great. The manager on board now Mr. Lorenzo love him to death. I would come back and rent from him any time. Thank you for your services and dealing with me all these years.

The spaces were smaller than I thought they would be the 10 x10 was shown as a two to three-bedroom apartment which I definitely don't think it is so I felt kind of ripped off by the prices and what you actually got. We were told right Away about waiting and we were informed we couldn't wait in our unit where it was much cooler they told us we couldn't be on property waiting for our house hold goods that said they would kick us out that we had to be moving we said we are and the gentleman said we couldn't do it there idk whats going on at this location but they seemed to think we wanted to like be homeless in a storage unit ok whatever just saying rudeness and assumption are the mother of law suits ....

The assistant manager Alberto(?) was amazing...the only issue is I paid for a lock and you did not have any? Not a big deal...I get you run out of things...but locks? At a storage facility? That requires that particular type? So had to waste time going to Home depot and spending more....but other than that small issue everything was awesome....great run business!! Sam Defabbo
