Complete trash harassed me after drop off weeks ago returned to pick up a palate that they couldn't just throw away â€¦ called and we're going to charge me hundreds to throw it out for a customer â€¦ drove back to get it and after weeks this self storage joke of a uhaul place tried to charge me another 100 and charged my card â€¦ weeks later when they were supposed to reimburse me for overcharging me because I already paid uhaul over 550 bucks for a truck I drove and returned two days early â€¦ never use this place ever again or uhaul if they don't fix thisSean B.

The tow dolly was very old, the strap on the right side ripped and the wheel got Lose the car stared shaking left to right, I manage to stabilize the car and pull to the side, l called the u-haul on Clinton hwy and they toll me to call road assistance but they were going to take hours to get to me and I did find a big strap on my truck and I was able to strapped down and secure the wheel.. after I drove more than an hour home and started to back up and the car was turning sideways because of the top part all messed up and the bottom part on the wheel we're turning the opposite locking the tires to different directions making it so hard to back up. I had to have more help because I had to unload the car on the street.. a refund would be appreciated because the hard time I had with the dollyEDWIN G.

I was wanting to rent a small truck and storage unit from the same place he told me he did not have any 10-footers I think it was the truck with no sides on it as I'm leaving to go to Rutledge Park there's three in the front parking lot and he told me he didn't have any so I go to rub his pocket to pick one up and he said about picking up back to his store so he can have one I would get a free month rental on my storage unit he said if they don't handle it over there he will take care of it when I bring the truck back on Sunday so I'll come pick the truck up at Rutledge Park and tell them to run it when I get a free rental on my storage unit he said that does not affect you any at all he said you won't get a free rental I said we got to tell me over there that if I'm ready to bring it back to him he would give me one he said you don't get it so sadly to say you the guy why I can get a truck brought back to his inventory and I didn't get a rental and I'm going to find a cheaper rental storage place and get my stuff out of U-HaulMark K. | First Impressions

When I return my u-hall truck I told the lady that I forgot to put the gas in and she told me it would be $5 and some change. I decided to let them put the gas but what she did not mention is that there is $30 service charge to put the gas in. Kind a disappointed.Hitesh S.
When my wife got the car home wires were hanging underneath the car dragging the ground people were blowing their horns at her as she traveled home and she had no idea why. Then the pin at the end of the wiring was just zip tied to the hitch. I ordered a receiver and 2 inch ball but it was not present on the hitch nor provided to my wife. I zip tied the wiring up off the ground to the frame enough for her to return to UHaul and get this done correctly tomorrow and I expect it to be correct when completed.MICHAEL L.

She went out of her way to help me figure out mileage for my trip. When we arrived at the store the remaining staff was just as friendly. I tried to log into the app for 10 mins before I was told to see the woman at the counter rudely. She checked me in and gave me the key, said it was out back...it's raining outside and they have parking in front where it should have been. I go out back wrong key...SINCE i had been sent out back with wrong key and am now walking back in rain for no reason I decided to go into the first automatic door appeared to be a warehouse section but maybe 20ft walk to the front desk. Once I arrive at the front desk I am met by the manager the same one who was rude in the beginning. Younger man, black hair, heavy set, with beard. He decides it's ok to lecture me that I entered from the wrong door... So 45 mins I have been here now and the desk clerk can't find the right key so gives me a different truck, this time one that is parked right out front all along. Horrible place, awful service. Attitudes aren't necessary...no one knows what the other person may be dealing with in their life.brian T.

I think checking the truck when you come in would be important. I left extra gas in the truck but was still charged $2.60 for extra miles even though it had one extra mile than Bristol recorded when I left. I did sign the original quote but did mention it to the person at the location. Overall, this was just not a great experience, due to not the equipment reserved available and no real customer service at either location.Tonya D.

I would like to mention and give a big thank you to gentleman whom helped us when we picked up our car towing dolly. He was very helpful Bon explaining how to prevent a sliding truck door from getting jammed in place by making sure the opening/closing mechanism on truck rear door is secured in proper position. I've rented several trucks from uhaul and nobody had ever explained the proper placement of sliding rear door on truck mechanism placement. The correct placement of opening and locking mechanism could bind up rear sliding door if not secured and locked before you slide up rear door all the way up If not properly completed the rear door wouldn't close and service would have been needed. His explanation and taking time to show us as many times I've rented a truck is worth noting I don't know his name but thank you for taking the time to explain for prevention a service call. I've rented two trucks from the uhaul moving and storage location in halls , Tn and no one ever explained this procedure. Keep in mind I already had rented this truck in halls , Tn the same morning. I just went to Clinton highway location to pick up my car towing dolly and this uhaul rep went above and beyond to demonstrate and inform us of this VERY IMPORTANT rear truck closing and opening proper procedure Thanks again to Clinton hwy location !!!David B.

15 before pickup, i'm directed to a different location for the truck...that new location then sends me 17miles out of my way for a dolly...i have to request additional mileage at both places ...no apologies offered, just "that's all we can do". if you want my business, send some of your employees to these same places and have my truck ready with the equipment at the right location. If you are going to ask the customer to do all the running around -then compensate him some way (i.e. free dolly, free blankets, add. mileage, credit, etc.) its just good business - i'm looking elsewhere next time.Daniel S.

I rented a dolly when I made my reservation. However, when I went to pick up the truck, there were no dollies available. At least that's what I was told and I had to purchase a dolly which I think was very unfair and unprofessional. I think I should have been able to rent a dolly that was already in the location which I had to purchase was very very unhappy about that. Thank u u haul for making this truck rental, a positive one. U haul had guaranteed a truck for 3pm .The truck was not available when we arrived and the friendly and helpful employee gave us a bigger truck for the $19.99. When we returned the truck during after hour drop off, I could not get the online return to accept me, an a very helpful employee who had arrived early, told us not to worry about it. He checked us out at 9am when the store opened. We easily made it to church on time, and we were not charged the $20 fee, for using the employee help during after hours. Thank u u haulChuck S.

The management was in array, I understand that it is hard to find good people to manage, but U-haul should do a little better finding people to do what they say and to lead by example. I was told I would be pro-rated for the move from one storage unit to another at the same facility. That never happened, and I was basically ignored. Everything about this experience was frustrating. I was asked for a 2nd contact phone number, which I don't have because I only use a cell phone, so I gave my mother's. He then asked for an emergency contact number and had to give my stepmom's phone AND address. After he bumbled through the process, he asked me to pick a code and then said "Really?" after I gave him one. He handed me the paperwork after with no instructions. I had to ask him what my storage number was and where to go. He just pointed and I had to figure it out myself. The code I gave him also didn't work and had to go back to the office to get a temporary one since custom ones "don't work right away." I've stored stuff at other U-Haul locations and loved it... The U-Haul resevation person did not reserve my storage bin like we discuussed, by me renting a trailer I qualified for one month of free storage. When I got to the drop off center in Clinton, Tn to uinload my trailer, I didn't have a resevation and the person working at the Clinton location informed me that he was not going to give me the sized storage bin that I need for free. The service provider would oly give me the sized storage bin that he thought I needed, which I explained to him was not large enough to accomadate all of my belongings, he told me that he did not care and that it was. After driving 6 hours to get to the storage unit we were VERY displeased with how rude the guy was that helped us. I had reserved a unit but when I got there they said that they didn’t have any available.. and only gave me one unit that was a 5x10 when I ordered a 10x10... clearly I needed a 10x10 because of the amount of room needed..But thankfully the owner was able to get everything straighten out for us. The climate control wasn't worth the extra expense, as temps weren't well monitored-often too hot. My unit leaked during an especially heavy rain. Items mysteriously disappeared out of it & the lock would sometimes be turned backwards from the way I placed it. Since the new office & truck facility was built next door, it seemed that there were no cameras on the actual storage units, & a property next to it could have provided access over the fence due to the difference in ground levels.
