This is not a problem with the workers, but they could use more allocation for an additional floor employee. Even with the amount of people they had, they keep calm and stay efficient while making sure matters are taken care of.

Owner was very rude and has very, very, very poor customer service, he even went as far as yelling at me, blaming being out in the Sun he forgot what he said to me, storage was never used got a refund

They gave me a truck that was on empty though the computer said it had a quarter tank. She gave me a credit before I left stating that I should return the truck with a quarter tank. What I didn't do was to check the mileage. They charged me for 585 miles though I only went approximately 250 miles, Charleston to Savannah and back. Rip-Off

Charged for damage already present on vehicle. Associate couldn’t get phone app to work while checking me in. Did not walk around the vehicle with me to inspect any existing damage. Apparently I was supposed to use the app to dispute the damage but I didn’t realize what it was. The photos in the app weren’t high enough in resolution to see the damage and my phone wouldn’t let me zoom in but since it was a very large scuff mark on the bumper I assumed it had already been seen. I came the next day after being billed to discus it with the GM. He did not care.

Ive spoken to Uhaul corporate and spoken to the store directly regarding me being overcharged for my trailer rental, I have yet to get a call back or a credit to resolve the issue. Poor experience thus far.

Facility was nice and organized, but the staff were...not on top of their game. It was very hot that day, but they both seemed out of it. Also, I went to the bathroom and some other people came in and when I came out I had to wait for the other people to completely finish their transaction before they even bothered to get back to my already ongoing pickup order! Come on!

I spoke to two associates from the store the day of my pick-up and was told they could set me up as a mobile pick-up. When I arrived after hours, they did not have locks on their mobile pick-up area so they did not leave me keys. When I called the phone number after hours, they were able to send someone to the store to get my keys. It took this person almost 2 hours to get there and then they admitted they knew they didn’t have locks on the 24/7 pickup so they just left the store. They did not call me to let me know the situation nor were they apologetic about it.

We always use this location when renting trailers. They have a good selection and do their best to get you in and out. They also have a good selection of boxes and other moving supplies. The staff is friendly and efficient.

I returned the truck with more gas than it originally had. When I was emailed my receipt it said fuel refill fee and some other fee and my bill went from 76.00 to 141.00. Called and could get through so I went up there to see what they confirmed I did put gas where it needed and would refund my money I have yet to see that refund

The entrance was not well marked, the associate was less than pleasant to deal with. I was so irritated with my first trip to disconnect the car trailer that I decided to return the truck after hours so as not to de with him again.

Absolute worst experience of my life using a moving truck. How can it be legal to use a truck that is NOT STREET LEGAL. UHAUL SHOULD BE FINED FOR THIS. OR JUST SET UP THE RESERVATION WITH THE TIME WE ORDERED AND THE TRUCK WE ORDERED. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN AND ALWAYS NOT RECOMMEND IT AS LONG AS I LIVE. This company is trash and whoever is reading this, if they read this, is also trash because I GUARANTEE NOTHING WILL CHANGE BECAUSE OF THIS REVIEW. Waste of time. You all suck. Uhaul sucks.

There was a small discrepancy with mileage and gas gauge measurement, very satisfactory corrected. Personnel were very helpful and polite. Another successful occurrence at this facility. My preference is to not go to any other Charleston location.

Made a reservation on the phone. Person I talked to said they were at the location but were actually at the call center. They said I could pay for the trailer while heading home without the vehicle I would be towing there and pick it up after hours. When I arrive I was told I could not do that but if I bought a hitch for the company truck I could rent it. I asked if someone could meet me a little after closing to give me time to get my truck. I was told no I asked to speak with corporate but was told they would not be able to help. I called corporate anyway and after being on the phone and wasting at least twenty minutes they said that I could pick it it as long as it was before 7:30 pm. They closed at 7 pm. I told them if they said that when I asked this wouldn’t be an issue. I went to get my truck having to rush through heavy rush hour traffic. I was still on hold for corporate. I finally called they reservation line who picked up immediately and transferred me to correct dept. they transferred me two more times eventually back the the branch manager, who was not the person I asked for. I did fight the traffic to get back and get the trailer. However while picking it up I was told it was all my fault because I was late. I was not late. They did not honor what I was told when I reserved the trailer.

Received a truck with an extremely dirty windshield and felt like the truck could break down any minute over my five hour drive. The truck would jerk and did not accelerate well at all only had 25k miles paid almost $300..

The facility itself was good.we would reccomend it based on selection of equipment. The first trailer had a faulty wiring pigtail and the customer service person tried to tell us we had blown fuse, after rummaging around under the hood and no blown fuse they asked someone else for help. one of the taillights was also burnt out and she asked if we wanted to take it that way. The second trailer offered to us was ok.

Only one person working there seemed to know what to do. Maybe the manager? Quite frankly, the rest of the workers seemed to be on drugs or something. They walked around me and my boyfriend and didn't even acknowledge us for help. Hardly any communication other than the gas and mileage rules. Odd experience. I will probably just pay a little more elsewhere for better service next time.

U-Boxes were scheduled to be delivered on Saturday between 9-11. Boxes were dropped off at 4PM. U-Boxes were scheduled to be picked up on Sunday by noon. Was told on Sunday they don't pick up on Sunday. Scheduled to be picked up on Monday by 4PM. Was told this was a mistake on Monday at 3PM. Were picked up on Tuesday.

Dexter was my check out associate and his customer service was excellent, based on that assistance from Dexter I highly recommend this location. Knowledgeable friendly staff that’s highly motivated, OBTW my wife needed to use the restroom and she was very impressed with cleanliness, great store.

Although the facility provided a safe storage, entry locks were frequently broken with AC either being inop or dripping water all over the floor. An increase in rent did not seem reasonable.

I canceled my account at the location, a couple days later I got numerous letters about a bill and late fees, I called everyday and was told that someone would call be but I never got a phone call.
