Only issue encountered during drop off was that the entrance to drop off the rental was blocked with other returned rentals. In saying that, after dropping off the rental, Lawrence was awesome - nice, courteous, and fast. He was able to get the verification process done right there by the truck so I didn't get charged the fee for next day.SAMANTHA M.

The seats were covered in dog hair which is one of my allergies, I took pictured and sent it in when I checked in. The only problem I had was chevkin in with the 24/7 service. It does not work. This is the last time I rent from Uhaul! When I made my reservation I put in the drop location in Mount Pleasant, SC. That was changed by Uhaul, not me. The Mount Pleasant location is 5 minutes from our house. When I went there they would NOT take the truck and told me I had to drop off either in Charleston or North Charleston. With Friday afternoon rush traffic and a half hour each way, with good traffic, it took us over 2 hours to do!! So who is going to pay for my time as well as my wife's? So, I, as the customer, are required to be inconvenienced to make it easier for Uhaul?!! It's obvious now, the customers are not your priority in your business model!! Bottom line, you have lost a customer! But, do you care?â€¦â€¦.Kirby Z.

I've rented Uhaul vehicles over the last 30 or so years and this was the first time I had real trouble! Think it was low on power steering fluid, brakes must've needed bleeding since I could not stop on 2 different occasions! The first time I tried to stop in a parking lot next to a car that got scratched and required an officer's report, no tickets but minor damage that had to be repaired and the 2nd time the brake peddle went to the floor and took down a street sign! No report or charges were necessary! Also the oil light constantly came on and blinked and dinged even though the oil pressure gage was reading normal! Would have taken truck back immediately except it was fully loaded and didn't have help to unload so I had to do it myself! I'm 63 and on disability so it took an extra full day that I hadn't counted on!NORA M.

Picked up a 26' that has a beer can under the seat. Halfway to my destination, the truck sputtered until I got there. Roadside assistance came and claimed I was out of gas. He tried to repair it and also put gas in the vehicle and it never cranked again. The truck I had, had to be towed and I had to travel about 20 miles to pick up another Uhaul. This was not usual for Uhaul but it is disappointing.Juston M.

The ratchets on the car trailer, that you tighten down the front wheels of a vehicle, were rusty and hard to work with so I sprayed WD- 40 on them to get them to work like they should. I think maybe you people need to stay on top of it.JOHN H.

The whole area is too congested with too many vehicles. There is not much room for rented uhaul trucks to maneuver turns or for for customer vehicles to be parked while they are waiting on their reservations.RAVI N.

I rented a 10x10x8 unit where the door and latch didn’t match up correctly. The round lock I was forced to buy would not work in the lower latch hole so I had use another lock. When I returned a week later I’m locked out. The staff guy refused to unlock the unit so I could unlock my stuff. We finally had to stop all your customers that were waiting so we could force the staff guy to unlock our unit. Upon removing boxes from storage, all stored along the cement wall had mold. The boxes on the floor had water damage. We were on the second floor and unsure how they had water damage. Shelving units - the shelves themselves, also had water damage on the bottom and therefore are no longer useful.
