I told everyone at U-Haul not to charge my card I was paying cash. When I returned the truck the guy could not get the cash drawer opened so he thought he reversed the order until he could reach the manager. I was shocked that they ran my card instead of calling me. I was charged a $35 overdraft charge because of U-Haul. I will be cleaning out my storage room in the near future. Disappointment is an understatement.SAMANTHA S.

I reserved a truck online and it said the truck was available at the Gantz road location in Grove City. I then got a call that I would have to go to Eakin Road in Columbus which was 5 miles farther away. I don't think I should have had to pay for the extra mileage since it let me reserve a closer location to my home online.Lora L.

Make it clear in big letters online that you need a 2 inch ball when picking up trailerâ€¦.this is something that should be repeated several time before and after checkout. Drove over 20 minutes to pick up and the ball I had was to large. Was then told I either had to buy one or drive back home to get one. Felt misled and like uhaul was trying to take advantage of me. Had to drive back home get a 2 inch ballâ€¦wasting almost a hour of my time and fuel. I will tell my friends and family about my horrible experience.JOSEPH C.

The mileage rate is really high, especially on weekends. You should offer a discount to Senior Citizens, since most are on a very limited income. Everything was fine except for the very high mileage. We are Just grateful we weren't going out of state. I am sure we aren't the first to mention the high mileage, plus because we went over 4 miles of the estimated time, the new price owed was also taxed over 11.00 so we were taxed twice for use of the truck. I pray we never have to move, out of state.HENRY D.

There's really nothing that you can do but this location has a lot of drug activity around it so when I pulled in to drop the truck off at around 9 p.m. there were drug addicts all around me which was pretty scary. That the facility itself was greatDEBORAH D.

When I arrived to return my truck on a Sunday around 10:30 am there was a group of people outside of the door. I assumed the location was not open so I returned my equipment via the 24/7 share app. Upon dropping my keys in the Dropbox, I noticed the hours of operation for a Sunday are 9am-5pm. Thankfully I wasn't affected by this dilemma but I did feel it was unfair to the customers out in front that probably needed to rent equipment (once again a MAJOR inconvenience for someone who is moving).BRITTANY G.

The 24/7 rideshare was not accessible on mobile at 8:00 am. Although this is likely due to another customer not checking it in properly, causing me to have to wait until the location opened, I was definitely inconvenienced and so was my client accordingly. Staff helped the situation and luckily it was only a 1 hr wait, but if I had scheduled for a 6am pick-up, it would have entirely defeated the purpose.BERNARD I.

The staff is very friendly and helpful for my first time renting a storage unit. They made the move in process smooth. The facility has several layers of security; I feel very safe keeping my belongings stored here. My only complaint is the location. There is a heavy flow of traffic from people cutting through the U-Haul parking lot, where I unload my belongings, to get to the Kroger next door.
