My rental was for 5 days (forced by UHaul). I returned the rental in just 3 days, yet received NO credit or refund for the early check-in. UHaul took 2 days of rental charges. Waste of my money.MACK J.

When I arrived to the location I was told when that the tow dolly I reserved was designated for repairs, and she would have to try to find one close by for me to drive to to pick up a different tow dolly. I wasn't told any of this until I arrived. The associate looked up another trailer for me. Thankfully she found one at her location that she didn't know she had. I do wish she knew her inventory because she had to make a brand new reservation to search to find one for me to use. An improvement I would suggest is, if a rentable truck/trailer is going in for repairs it should be noted in the system for reservations made on it so they can be switched for the person reserving it.JARED R.

I originally made reservations on Mitchell Road in Lumberton. I received a text FIFTEEN minutes before my scheduled arrival to tell me the unit was not available. That's unacceptable. I was able to do what I needed to do, but fifteen minutes is an unacceptable notice.CHARLES S.
I received an email 2 days before pickup saying to go to a different location. When we got there, there were only 2 people working. They were swamped. After waiting a really long time, we were told they didn't have our rental and couldn't get us one. We went to the original location. While this location did great, making the reservation early became a joke. I ended up paying a lot of extra money having to go to a distant location where I had to return the vehicle 50 miles away. I will likely never use your services again because of that. I drove by the original location and saw 3 vehicles there, 1 that was what I tried to reserve and 2 larger ones that could have been an upgrade and ultimately as cheaper option in the long run. Therefore, the $1.09 I paid for mileage that ended up costing an additional $109 was a rip off because my reservation was ignored.JANICE M.

Eastex freeway location sucks I was charged extra money because I was sent to a remote location and had no internet access no people on the site ,so had to go to new site I get charged for worker you had no knowledge of drop off instructions for remote drop off . Ladies at front counter were not really customer friendly (2working). I was more like the customers were bothering them (1 training, 1 in charge). I watched as they assist the Customer before me with trailer and then me. Same attitude. No thank you, be safe, see you later....Just straight up connect the trailer, check the lights and walk off. When you make a reservation weeks ahead of time, make sure the trailer is there. Don't give the customer the run around on it. The trailer wasn't there then they sent us to another location which was closed. They didn't call ahead to confirm it. We came back and waited. Finally 2 hours after our reservation, the trailer returned. We believe they rented it out for the day even knowing we were coming later to pick it up.DAVID M.

I did not appreciate how I was treated at this location. I was not helped and pretty much ignored when I walked in to return the vehicle and had to ask if they needed me to do anything else. When they checked me in, they did not bother to look at the paperwork to make sure the numbers matched up and then called the next day accusing me of stealing their trailer. After over an hour, we determined that the trailer I was given in Alabama did not match the trailer in the system. When we finally figured it out, the woman hung up and did not even apologize for how rude she was through the whole process. If you pick up or drop off from this location, make sure you take pictures of all sides of the Uhaul so they do not accuse you of stealing/breaking it...And DEFINITELY get a receipt so you have proof of return...Kelly C.

the uhal at 8161 eastern freeway did an outstanding job. Your reservation system is far below good. I made a reservation at your Milam and eastern location 2 weeks before move and went to confirm, they had no units available in the 10x25. Did another reservation through corporate offices, went there this past Saturday and no reservation for me, even though both reservations were confirmed with a reservation number. Last minute I had to rent 2 units at the eastex location. The experienced was horrible. The Milam st location needs some serious help both in staff, attitude and organization. The Eastex location were wonderful. Took them only about 15 minutes to get me the units.HERMAN L. | First Impressions

Employee went out of her way to feel powerful by making me jump through multiple hoops, like have a major credit card which is not required. Also made me give them two points of contact and called one stating that people steel Uhaul vans. I'm someone that is on record using Uhaul frequently and have never had to do this in the past. There is a way to do things. The people want to play games with you at a stressful time to feel powerful is pathetic and overly intrusive. You have my debit card information and a deposit is placed. There isn't anything else that is needed to track a customer. People are angry at their own personal choices, so they give you a hard time to feel better about the dumb decisions they've made. When I rented my storage I was told that if I moved out early it would be prorated and I would receive some of my money back. The gentleman told me no, even though I did move out early. I guess during the storm there was what looked like a metal building that was flown on top of the U-Haul storage section 128. I suppose from the force of that building my things that were inside on top were jolted and the microwave came down on my leg. When I lifted the door a few things came down.
