I appreciate the representative working out the price so that I can have a truck when they didn't have the truck size I had asked for. Thank you. The truck's fuel was almost empty. When I went back in the store they told me to just follow the prompts and take pictures of it and that was it. I left feeling worried I would not have enough gas to get to my near destination where I would have funds to fill up for the trip. I think the trucks should come filled with gas. First, the keys in the lockbox weren't for the truck in the app. The woman inside was extremely rude and short with me, as if I were bothering her while she was working. The equipment rented wasn't in the truck. I was finally able to get my truck I rented, with equipment, 2 hours after the scheduled pickup time. The only one who was polite and did his best to get it all right was Eli. I'm grateful he was there to help out, otherwise who knows how long until I actually got my truck.Colleen B.

The return process with Krystal was smooth and flawless. The check-out process was painful. It simply takes TOOO long to check-in and pick-up a truck at this location. I reserved a 26', got there at 8:20, and it took 35 min's to check out my reserved truck----and I was only behind one other customer. It's one thing to wait that long...it's another for the personnel to not acknowledge how long it took. The guest in front left their ID (which I found) so she had to run outside and take care of that, my dolly wasn't ready, so she had to go outside and do that...it was quite irritating. I've rented way too many Uhaul's at way too many places for it to be that clunky.STEPHEN E.

On Thursday, December 30, I reported that someone used my e-mail address and account to reserve a uhaul in my name. I called customer service and reported this information. I also cancelled the reservation and deactivated my account. Now, I see that someone still used my name and account to reserve and pick up the uhaul. I am extremely frustrated that this happened since I was told that it probably was just an error. Obviously, someone is hacking your accounts or you are allowing people to fraudulently reserve uhuals under other peoples identities. I will not be responsible for any part of this transaction.WILLIAM H.

I drove approximately 30 miles total and when I filled the gas tank the total was $39.00. I admit I forgot to check the gas because I was told it's on full and bring it back full. The manager at the time was to busy to check me in so I could discuss this with her. I waited 45 minutes to return the keys and nobody was available. I had to put the keys in the night return because the store was closing. I will not use Uhaul again. There was another customer waiting that had a truck full of furniture and the transmission on the truck was faultyâ€¦There were many trucks there but they refused to give him a different truckâ€¦ they proposed putting them up in a hotel until the next day. He was very upset. I understand shortages on labor due to Covid. It was obvious this was part of the problem. But there was no excuse for me waiting 45 minutes and not seeing a customer service rep.DAVID L.
The "manager" stated she was not familiar with the UHaul system as she was attempting to help a customer. The only front desk person available then had to deal with a difficult customer and help the manager try to help another customer. Judith pulled it off though. My experience was still excellent and very pleasent. But, unfortunately the pick up truck I rented was not properly maintained. The inside wasnt very clean. Not vacuumed or wiped down. The tire pressure before I left my U-Haul location was 29-30 psi. Way too low. There was no oil fill cap on the truck, including the oil level being much too low. (About half a qt low). The truck showed the "Oil Level Low" icon on the dash not even five minutes into my drive home. Other then those small hiccups, the truck ran/drove flawlessly. Krystal was amazing and so understanding! I will still be using U-Haul for all the future needs! Thank you!Jeremy W.

The experience at this location was good, but overall my experience with uhaul was not good. We had a reservation at the location at 66st in Pinellas park and they called and said that they could not get us the truck. They reserved one in st. Pete on Gandy. We went there and they didn't know anything about it and sent us to the Gandy location in Tampa. They got us a truck but we were now about an hour an a half late. We had also wanted the truck for 12 hours like we originally had asked for instead of six. They agreed. However when we returned it we were told that we would have a late charge. We also could not check the truck in after hours. We tried for about 45 minutes before giving up. The codes that they were sending us would not work. The Gandy location agreed to remove the late fees and the fee for not checking in. Samantha especially was very kind and helpful. But, my overall experience with uhaul was not pleasant and very stressful.SALLY T.

This location really needs to service their vehicles. We were driving for maybe 20 minutes and saw the low oil indicator came on. I checked out a pickup that had trash in the bed. I was picking up furniture and luckily none of the oil that was in the bed of the truck stained my furniture. There is absolutely no reason I should be picking up soda cans, bricks, or oily canisters out of a rental truck that wasn't cleaned or serviced prior to pickup.JAQUELYN R.

When I called to let them know I wasn't going to be there before they closed at 7pm and my son was going to pick up my key, the person that I spoke with did not give me accurate information. He said that my reservation showed that it was confirmed for that location and my storage unit would be up some stairs. Neither was correct. My access code to my storage unit was denied/accepted at certain times throughout my moving into the unit. The alarm came on like I was breaking and entering, but no police came, or anything else ? not quite sure what to think of my security if I could just stay there with high decibel alarms ringing... Besides that nice tour, friendly staff, oh and a lock key broke into a lock and I had to purchase two locks in less than 12 hours. Pretty cheap metal if you ask me.
