Provide better training for employees at pickup location. Tampa drop-off location employees are totally squared away.

Clean steering wheels. It feel sticky and dirty. Felt like it would be full of bacteria or unclean residue.

Because it is a large location with different U-Haul services, it pretty much has everything you need when you need it.

best improvement is to maintain the current level.

It's a little bit offensive to me to be asked at the counter for an emergency number in case of an accident, and then seconds later hear my wife on the phone after the person helping me called her, presumably to see if I was lying or didn't know my own phone number.

Poor overall customer service I will take my business and company business elsewhere

I will start on a positive note. The guys in the lot(Rico was one of them) tried very hard to get a signal for lights to a trailer. I found them knowledgable, friendly and professional. I ended up having to rent a truck. The guy who received the truck at the end of the day was also very good. The issue is that the truck had a bolt in the tire. I heard it tapping on the roadway as I left the lot. The tire was not losing air, but I felt it best to return the truck early so that it could be repaired. I was not able to finish the task due to the tire. The guy in the lot stated that I should speak with management and ask about a potential refund. Unfortunately, I ended up speaking with a belligerent, rude, woman (redhead) who was unwavering, uncompromising, unsympathetic, would not listen to reason and should not be allowed to interact with the public. I was repeatedly told that I should have called Roadside Assistance (and waited for hours) in spite of the fact that the tire was not losing air. I would not have this person in my firm and if you continue to keep her employed perhaps you should delegate her to tasks whereby she does not interact with people--perhaps sweeping the lot after hours or doing computer-work in a distant backroom. I am confident that if you had overheard our conversation, you would have terminated her immediately. I have rented from U-Haul dozens of times. I will be hesitant to do so in the future, if at all.

The yellow coloring for the return lane needs to be repainted.

Same as above. Check in process was very quick and efficient

The guys in the yard are extremely professional, but the desk workers are typically slow as frozen water, and the manager just stands there on his phone texting etc.... maybe he makes too much money and does not think that caring about customers taking 45 minutes to checkout AFTER connecting a trailer matters... either way, the slow desk folks make the experience very painful and I will avoid renting unless I absolutely have to.

I had a truck and motorcycle trailer reserved for my move. This location had a trailer, after I hooked it up they discovered that the lights weren’t working. After three hours of delay, they told me they could not provide me with a trailer and there was nothing they could do. Not only that, they did not know how to refund the money I paid for the trailer either. So now I have to figure out another way to move my motorcycle, which is a major difficulty. I am not happy with uhaul at this moment.

I thought it was a little pricey at .69 cents a mile plus filling up the gas. I had a van a few hours and paid over $100.

The attendant was very helpful and the manager was awesome!

What I enjoyed about the Tampa location, they got us in and out.

It was a one way move and both locations were OUTSTANDING!!!

Don’t rent a truck with less than a 1/4 tank of gas to your customers!!!!

Returning the truck was great and so was the gentleman who received us. Picking up was awful. I had signed up for self check in but didn't quite understand it and Callie was not very willing to help. I asked her if she could just check me in and she said no that I would have to continue with self check in. She sent me all over the lot to look for my truck and told me I had to take my picture and my driver's license pic with my phone. After walking all over the lot to search for a truck that was not in the area she said it would be along with my phone not allowing me make the pics. She finally agreed to help me after my third trip in to ask her. Each time I had to interrupt her and another Co worker who was sitting in the customers chair at her station. I felt like a big inconvenience and interruption to their morning visit. Neither of them seemed to want to get up and help me. Very poor customer service on both their parts. I left uhaul for my move very annoyed thank goodness for the great customer service I received returning the truck!

I think the rental requirements are too draconian. Also, the $30 "service fee" for gas is ridiculous. Although, with the way people in Florida conduct themselves I suppose this is a reasonable requirement. I'm sure my complaints have no bearing on this particular location or the personnel I dealt with. The girl who handled my rental was polite and patient.

get rid of the new policy to call backup/emergency person on the phone. I have rented from U-Haul many times and this is the first time this has been done
