Kandyce, the delivery and pick-p driver was amazing! She was professional, polite, helpful, and very kind. She texted me her approximate arrival time, then texted (right on time) her arrival. She made sure the UBox was placed where I wanted it, she offered locks or pads or supplies if I needed them and instructions on how to arrange a pick-up of the box when I was ready for that... And the pick-up was just as easy and perfectly coordinated and right on time! I would absolutely recommend this UHaul to anyone and am thoroughly pleased with the service they provided!

I paid for 24 hour fee for the truck. They asked if I will be done within 6 hours. I was hoping I would, but I called to tell them I wanted the truck longer and they wanted to charge me more than doublean additional charge! I been renting from u haul for over 30 years. Horrible!!!!

Online and in person are two different experience. I felt discriminated against by immigrants working for U-Haul. Paid for a furniture dolly didn't have one there. Staff wasn't concerned if I got one. Very bad experience.

The staff were very helpful. I didn't wait around. They were accommodating and flexible. When a mobile storage unit was too big, they didn't hesitate to find a stationary storage that was the right size. My one issue was with what I am assuming is an automated letter. In October the rewards credit card I had on file at U-Haul for a monthly automatic payment was switched from one bank to another, well ahead of the expiration date. Instead of a letter or email saying, hey your card declined, could you call us with a new card, I get a letter DEMANDING payment or my storage unit will be locked and legal action taken. After paying regularly for months, I don't think that kind of letter is appropriate. The tone of the letter was threatening. Not a good experience. I'm assuming this was from the local manager. So, I won't be using u-haul storage at Garey Ave. again.

Access hours were only until 7:00pm. 9 or 10:00 closing time for access would've been much better. Some places are 24hr, but that may pose a security issue. Perhaps something worth researching? Biggest complaints versus competing storage facilities are low ceilings delimiting my overall storage volume and no in-unit lighting.

The staff did not mention that I would be receiving a text about checking the state of the vehicle before leaving the lot. I got about 1/4 mile from the lot when I realized the text had come. Since it no longer worked, I called and asked them to send a new text, but that can't be done. Simply mentioning it when giving the key would help.

I moved out on Friday so the guy gives me a receipt and it says my move out date is on 1/15/2023 so that’s wrong can you please fix that I don’t want any surprises I moved out Friday December 16 2022

I had several concerns regarding homeless individuals living in some of the units. When I expressed my concerns, I was told that no units were rented to homeless. This was despite that I had personally seen them. As a result, I terminated my rental at U-Haul.

The move in process was so easy, much easier than other places I’ve used. I had rented a U-Haul one way truck and took advantage of the first month free rent and I appreciate that it is truly free and no fees. Thank you!

My only problem was a one time break-in on the facility.My unit along with others were broken into. The unit was repaired,and no other problems. I, m on a fixed income and cannot continue to pay the rental amount.

1. My unit was damaged by a vehicle still don't know the truth why? 2. I was assulted by a woman customer for wanting to use the bathroom woman was very territorial over bathroom. 3. Black males were approaching me at my storage unit asking if I had anything to throw away 4. Homeless People were hanging out at storage property leaving trash 5. UHUAL Truck I rented for move out had some issues no water for windshield wipers to clean dirty windows, all windows were dirty, interior of truck was dirty had to clean windows and interior, A/C unit not working properly. 6. Please check billing- truck rate 19.95, Safe Move 14.00, Miles used 74.4 @1.09 returned with same gas amount. My bank account is still showing $157.27 deduction.

Customer service was good. I do wish the hours for access matched the website, which are listed as 5 AM - 10 PM. I even called to confirm and was told that the main store closes at 7 PM, but access card or pin # I would be able to go into the storage section until 10 PM. I went today at 6:30 PM and they warned they would be closing at 7 PM. Other than this, I've had a great experience going to this location. Staff is helpful. No complaints.

This is a good location, centrally located in Pomona. David and the other staff are helpful and courteous. The only downside is all the homeless hanging around the facility. I had to constantly keep my head on a swivel to keep aware of my surroundings. I would definitely use U Haul and this location again.

All the staff were wonderful and so polite. David the manager was unbelievable. I serve in the military and I’m always being sent out of the country for training or on temporary assignments and can’t always make my payments on time. David would waive my late fees and even gave me his personal cell number so I can make my payments directly with him. I was just recently deployed to Ukraine and he made sure my unit was closed out and sent me a message letting me know it was done. My overall experience with him and all the staff was impeccable and well worth every dime I spent.

Firstly staff must learn to write clients names correctly! My first name is Jonathan but not Jonathon as is displayed here! I am disabled senile customer in a wheelchair Secondly, The Behavior of a staff member at the N Garey location named Karl was insolent n displayed gross insurbodination n should be removed from performing such essential customer services like that for U-Haul Customers! N should be terminated immediately To me his behavior poses a great liability to the company! Thirdly, I rented the U-Haul truck one way from Bakersfield California to Montclair San Bernardino County n to be dropped off at the North Garey location in Pomona n qualify for a month’s free storage facility at the same location After a lot of unnecessary wrangling with Karl the truck was dropped off I arrived home n noticed that my American Express Card was charged $65.00 I called U/Haul to find out what the charges of $65.00 was for? Initially I was told it was for gas! Attempt was made the day before with the tank fully filled n Karl rejected the drop off! What is the charge of $65.00 for? This case is filed for dispute Slready my credit card had been charged $181.00 plus for the trip Bakerfield to Montclair California Please stop charging my credit card unnecessary because it is In your possession I will prefer monthly bills sent to me for settlement I am very disappointed in U/Haul n will never refer anyone to u! For questions number 1 and 5 I answered both no. It was really half yes and no for both questions. Answer 1 the facility felt secure however by storage row never turned on. Luckily there was natural light from the window. Answer 5 although, facility was clean the storage area, restroom, lobby and indoor painting the lighting in my storage area wasn't working.

Some of the staff were good to work with, others less so. They didn't have the unit I'd reserved ready when i arrived, so gave me another unit. All the units were dark and small, and the hours aren't convenient. While some of the staff is friendly, the one who rented me a van had a sticker that said "owner" on his nametag and was the least helpful and competent of the staff.
