Theft is the problem. Last time the truck we rented had an empty tank because it had been siphoned overnight.This time the van we rented had the catalytic converter stolen so they gave us a 10' truck with only 1/4 tank because its tank had been siphoned. I had to throw some items away; due to problems with the floors in my unit. I was disappointed that the Pomona CA facility didn't stay open until 10 pm. There was absolutely no gas in the vehicle. I understand that the rep there said that people were siphoning gas from the tanks of the trucks; however, in the morning, someone needs to check which trucks are being rented that day and take it to get it gassed up. The location is good to rent and so is the equipment, but certain people that work there either need to be dismissed and learn how to use proper safety protocols and not be offended. The manager on site, at the time when I went, was David Sahagun, a large guy with facial hair. He was NOT wearing a mask in the store and had No mouth or nose protection. He was coughing alot and blowing his nose constantly behind the counter. He never washed his hands, never used hand sanitizer and never excused himself. He just kept touching the key board and other peoples cards to close out the rental. It seems like Uhaul does not care that a Pandemic has hit many lives and is carefree of its employees (David Sahagun) to spread any virus or illness he may have around the store or around to people. Furthermore, I was charge $20 extra for no reason. I took the rental equipment at 740 am and returned it back hours later, like 11 am. But I was charged an After Hour Service Fee. Again this is how David gets back at customers and is vendictive because he is being corrected by a customer to exercise health precausions. Or maybe he is keeping the money for himself.Rodrigo C.

The young Latina girl who works here was extremely rude and condescending with her tone. I explained that "I checked in online, but I'm not sure what happened and why my ID info didn't go though" I also explained" I'm not sure why it didn't just allow me to check in and pick up the U-haul that was supposed to already be packed and ready, maybe I was in the wrong spot?" She responded with "It's tells you where to go on the App! I said, well I'm not sure where that is...it just says South end, where's the south end cuz you have u-huals at the end of the property over here and also ones in the middle. She said - It's in the middle with a Rude tone. Very rude! I let that smart remark slide but when I asked her - Wait, I'm still confused. I checked in online so did they already charge me? She than said - How are they going to charge you if you didn't pick up anything? . No explanation of how things work on the back end. Obviously this was my first time renting from this location and instead of explaining any of the process...she had Smart and short come backs. Both text links I received while at the store, to upload a picture of my license and to view my contract, required me to use data I didn't have. There was a 3rd link from Uhaul that expired. I have no idea what that was for. I told the agent helping me that I didn't have data. Why can't Uhaul just offer paper versions? I rolled out of there having signed nothing and that's a little disconcerting. I'd still like a paper contract or instructions so I don't have to find a way to print them myself. Chose above average because when I called the number for the facility, I would get a call center and they were never able to transfer me to the actual store. They would always say they’ll send a message to call me back. They would never call me back. Only time they did was when I’d pay my rent late since no one could help with changing my due date or extend the due date to avoid the late fees. So I paid the $27 late fee every month for almost a year. Other than that, I love this facility and the staff! The mgr (David) and his staff are most helpful, especially in the context of college students needing support during all the unexpected move-out and move-in variations withto covid. They are very customer focused, which is hard to find these days. The only request would be to have the local number posted and more available. The 800 number helps with most basic scheduling, but when I as a customer need something more specific and need to talk with the local office, it was impossible to find a phone number that I could call directly. From the moment we got the Storage Unit it should have been 1 month free. Instead it was charged and we got emails, phone, and text alerts saying we owed a bill. We went to storage unit but not even a week after just getting the storage unit we had not slip and lock on our storage unit! Unacceptable.. We go into office to the very people who just gave us the unit and they remember us and so they didn't have answers as to why it happened and how it was someone else fault and no ownership taken.
