I had to wipe down the steering wheel the air rest the door handle the gear shift!! The windows had smeared hand prints!! And it needed to be vacuumed and mopped!! Disgusting

NANNETTE A.The U-Haul truck I reserved and the location I reserved it at were unavailable despite being listed as available on this website. Exact availability should be on the website. This is not hard to do. I reserved on a Monday night and was told I would be contacted by Tuesday at 5pm. I was not contacted until Wednesday afternoon. Unprofessional. The U-Haul I received was poorly maintained and the steering wheel was disgusting, leaving my hands covered in black junk. Will not be using U-Haul ever again unless the equipment I reserve online and the time & duration that I reserve it for are guaranteed. 0/5 stars.

ADRIANLAMONT C.In June when I reserved the truck I was quoted .40 cents a mile. At pick up they charged me .79 cents a mile. So I had to pay $300 more than the quoted price. I will tell everyone what Uhaul did to me. I have called several times about this and get no help from Uhaul.

daniel G.I had an online reservation BUT once I got there the customer before me didn't. They were also paying cash. There was 2 other employees there BUT unable to check me out. One employee was pulling up the trucks for customers, while other employee was sent on a McDonald's RUN. Honestly overall experience wasn't that bad just getting my truck to leave took more time than I wanted. Waiting in line behind the cash customer took more time than me doing my online reservation AND getting my truck combined.

I came here several years ago and the experience was TOTALLY different because the staff members ACTUALLY knew about CUSTOMER SERVICE.The person handling me this time was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL is a compliment at this point! He was so engulfed in his CONVERSATION with someone other than the customer he was too busy swearing up a storm as loud as he wanted to. I guess he thought he was “ multitasking†because in between his loud INAPPROPRIATE conversation he would look to me as if I was BOTHERING him and speak so shockingly LOW like he could barely move his jaw to ask questions for the Uhaul set up I wouldn't understand what he was saying!! Not to mention I'm in utter shock and disgust from his inappropriate behavior AT WORK I was lost thinking where the hell am I. So then, he would get NOTICEABLY ANNOYED and have to repeat himself but in between him “ servicing me†he'd get back to his disgusting conversation using “ the LOUD OUTDOOR VOICE “ again. Obviously this location hires ANYBODY go at your own risk!

Adriene P.I had called to ask to drop the vehicle off at a closer U Haul location and was told that would be fine. When I tried to do so I was told I couldn't and still had to drive to Genesee St anyway, now late. Customers held up the line with buying then not buying then buying something else instead and then demanding someone carry it to their car so I gave up waiting and used the key drop. The website then tried to charge $30 for a cleaning fee, are you kidding?
Riley W.Thankful that this location was able to fulfill what we needed after going to 2 other UHAUL locations. We had a reservation made for Sams quick stop and when we arrived we were told that someone else had the UHAUL out at that time and that it was supposed to be back by Noon. We left that location at 12:15 and went to another location which then forwarded us to Genesee street where they were able to give us a truck. We use UHAUL alot for one way trips and we have never had this terrible of an experience.

When i arrived it was not a ground level it was up high on top the floor level, and there were no other units available at this facility. This was a big disappointment due to the fact that I'm disabled and also I had my movers waiting to load my storage unit for me. I wouldn't have chose this facility had I known this unit would be unreachable for me. This really made me sad!
