The customer service was terrible. One of the reps was cursing at me and yelling at me after I dropped off the truck. They all seemed very sketchy and they were all rude. First and last time ever using this location. Honestly it should be shut down because everyone there was terrible to work with. Recommending everyone steer clear of this location. The inside of the windsheild of the truck was really dirty could hard see out of it. I was a little late returning the truck and got scolded by somebody named Tina over the phone. This was a complicated move for us, and everything worked out well. We changed the contact and payment information halfway throughout the process which I think caused some confusion because much of the information was still being sent to the original contact info. Also, we had some difficulty figuring out how to access our U-Boxes on the receiving end - it was unclear. Next time I'll create an account with U-Haul, perhaps this would make it easier. The U-Box moving system worked out very well for me. Plenty of space in the containers and ample padding is provided. Delivery of the boxes were on schedule and the staff was friendly and helpful. Price was reasonable compared to other moving services and U-Haul bought back any unused boxes I had left over. Would recommend this service to anyone considering moving themselves.Jeff S.

My original location to pick up my reserved truck was at 4210 Glenway ave. At that location, they opened 15 mins late and I was very pressed for time, they lost my reservation, and they lied and said I wanted to keep the truck all day, "which clearly stated on my reservation 6 hrs", and I never said I wanted the truck all day I only needed it for 6 hrs.They sent reservation to the Glencrossing way location. I will never reserve a uhaul truck at the 4210 Glenway location, these guys were very unorganized !!!!RICHARD J.
Filled the tank to exactly the 9/16 fill mark before dropping it off less than 2 miles from the gas station. The employee didn't check anything while we were there at the drop off location, and I got invoiced 15 minutes later after we left because they said it was only 1/2 full, so I was billed an extra 24$ for 5 gallons of gas. I'm certain the employee just couldn't be bothered to check it closely because they were incredibly dismissive from the start. This may seem like a minor detail, but the only possibilities are that they didn't care enough to actually check, or they outright lied, and I'm out money that I shouldn't be. I cannot express my dissatisfaction thoroughly enough. We've spent thousands on U-Hauls over the years on well over a dozen rentals, and this has never happened before.CHESTER Y.

Someone threw their glass over into my unit and it shattered all over my child's toy box. The units should have a closed top. The check in process of very cumbersome and time consuming. Take a lesson from the rental car companies. If you have an account in good standing and you have made a reservation, your car is in a designated area and you get in, drive to the check out booth, they check your paperwork in about a minute and you drive away. Your return procedure is much better than your vehicle pick up procedure.JOHN R.

My experience renting at Glencrossing was exceptional! The man who checked me in was very knowledgeable about what I may need. He even suggested a later return time, which I did bring the truck back an hour later than I thought I would need. (Everyone is optimistic...LOL) It was a combination of easy to use prompts on my phone to make a reservation and then a back up check by a real person to confirm. I was very impressed! My experience from checking out was poor. Staff member wasn't fully knowledgeable on how to get me set up and didn't explain the access in and acess out very well. Since you asked; The support I received at both ends when I dealt directly with the people in Cincinnati and TX was excellentâ€¦ When I could reach them. Because of your standard phone call number the customer service has been very very difficult because I've had to wait an hour and 15 minutes several times when I needed to talk somebody. I have never been able to access my account other than the one from seven or eight years ago. I received a couple of chargers that I was confused about and one that was totally undeserved which I think and hope (as I have been told) are resolved. I will say that person who I sent my concerns to to the address above was greatâ€¦. but over all, the wait time, and lack of accurate and very piecemeal information was very confusing, stressful, and frustrating. We have several more projected needs for u/box, but are somewhat hesitant because all of the stress that was involved.Linda K.
You all waited 48 hours to check in my rental, I paid for a week returned the equipment a day early and was charged an extra day. It was $12 then repeatedly attempted to charge my card with out authorization. I will nev3r rent from this location. Reserving and picking up the truck was super simple. And the lady checking us out was friendly and helpful. The truck was exactly what we needed. All good there. The bad... After a long exhausting day the online check in process is a pain in the behind. You park, lock up and start the check in on your phone to find out you have to open the truck back up for pictures. And it took 3 tries since the site wanted to crash. A heads up of all the steps involved in the paperwork or at check in would be helpful.DELIA B.

I received a fine for not checking in after hours. Yes it was stated in the contract I received , I wish the representative would have alerted me since it is the weekend and if you drop off after hours you must electronically check in or be fined when dropping offJeffrey S.
My first location was moved after I had reserved a truck because they said they did not have the truck I reserved. When I got to my second location the truck that was there was broke down and the people that work there said it was broke down for about two weeks. They said that U-Haul New about the truck. The U-Haul sent me to a third location. When I got there they did not have a truck for me. They tried to send me to a fourth location across town. I had to call customer service and after about 20 minutes they sent me back to the first location to get the truck. Customer Service was very friendly but I should not have to go through all of that to get a truck. Instead of starting my move at 10 AM it was 12 I can I got the truck and got started on the moon which caused me to have to rent a truck for a second day because my help with on a time schedule.Nile M.

Window behind window sounded it like it was going to fall out. The rattling sound was really loud. The left window seal of truck was defective. They marked the gas tank as a half of a tank when they knew it wasn't. The lady that checked out my truck blamed me for damaging the sliding rear door without really checking the real issue out. The real issue was their were no wheels on the pins so the door would stay on track. I had to deal with a non functioning door.ROBERT B.

Of the four pickup and drop off dates I was given, zero of those actually came to fruition. There was zero communication, and I had to constantly call and ask where they were only to be on hold for 45 minutes and eventually learn they weren't coming for 2-3 days after they were supposed to. I took 4 days off of work that I didn't need to because uhaul couldn't communicate to me that they weren't showing up. We also received one very damaged box that snapped our couch in half and had splintered wood everywhere inside. I'm very disappointed and will not recommend Ubox to any friends, family, or neighbors.John C.

Online check in was a horrible experience. It took 1.5 hours to get the truck. I spoke to 2 separate reps in process. The first rep did not follow through on what she committed to when verifying 2nd contact. Then after getting through verification,we were issued keys to a different truck then our reservation. It was a nightmare and caused us to get behind on moving day. Moving is already stressful enough, using U-Haul made it even more stressful.Carissa B.

Around 5 others were trying to move at the same time as we were so it became beyond crowded. There was no way for all of us to be able to move around at once. Gnats and roaches were found. When I went to this location to pick up my rental truck and set up my storage space I asked the employee at the desk if the truck and storage space size I reserved were going to be large enough for the items I was moving. She reassured me that both were adequate for my needs but both the truck and storage space were entirely too small. This problem has now led to me still having the truck rental past my reservation because I have no space to put the rest of my items. When I called the office to get an extension on the truck rental I was told no and that I would be charged a $50 fee. I am now on day 2 of the truck rental and am still without a storage space large enough to empty the rental truck. I cannot afford 2 storage spaces or to have the rental truck another day and it is creating a problem with me getting help physically moving since this has turned into a 2-3 day move.
