The young man who was at counter did not walk around vehicle with us, and wanted us to initial we received a clean truck and to fuel level was as stated..all without inspecting vehicle first, because it was raining. Then after paper work was completed, we had to remind him of the 1 dozen moving pads we were renting. He went to hand me(the son) 1 of the hand packed bags and the other one to my mom. I told him "no, you can carry one to the truck, don't hand it to my mother". To say the least I was very disapointed. Then after leaving lot, fuel guage immediately went from the registered 3/8 level to 1/4 level. So fuel was not at specified level as told. While packing truck, we used 1 bag(6 blankets) opened the other, to find that it only contained 5 blankets. Talk about frustrating. The final mess up by the young man, which I did not catch until I called location for drop off, that he changed the drop off day to a day earlier(Sunday), which in no way could happen as we were still driving to our home. Mind you all of the correct info was on our email/online confirmation from uhaul. It was to be picked up 3pm Sat 5/20/2017 and returned Mon 5/22/2017. The vehicle on the other hand performed excellent. I would rent another any day, just from a different location. Hopefully management will contact them and re-train the young man.

We were charged a full daily rate for returning the trailer 2 hours later than we rented it. However, we were never given a time to return the trailer and not told of any additional charges ahead of time. Maybe give folks a time to return the equipment before there is a charge?

The girl was very helpful... Even told me about the insurance no one had mentioned when i first got the uhaul hours before... So i got the insurance because "better safe then sorry". Was very helpful when i had to delay drop off due to my personal car breaking down on the trip. Overall made everything less stressful... And because she helped estimate the mileage use with me... I got money back even after having to keep it a day! So overall a fantastic experience.

WOW! You guys are the Best! I have never had such a pleasant experience, especially when it comes to moving stuff. First and foremost the folks you have working there are truly awesome, I mean awesome from start to finish I was met with the most pleasant, courteous and friendly people. The nice lady I spoke with on the phone was terrific and the young lady I delt with when picking up the van was fantastic! And last but not least the young man I checked in with when dropping off the van was just icing on the cake with his friendly smile and easy going demeanor. Oh how I wish there were more people out there like you! I hate moving but you guys made it worthwhile just to deal with your friendly staff. Your place was neat, clean and professional. Plus, you had everything you could possibly need to make moving easier. The van was a pleasure to drive and easy to load. It was also the cleanest van I have ever rented! Please do not change, especially the great people you have working for you. You guys are literally the best in the business and I cannot wait to spread the good news!

I have never been more disappointed in U Haul. I reserved a 5X9 for pick up in northern KY and was told the morning of my rental that that equipment was not available in Kentucky and I had to drive almost 45 minutes out of my way to pick up the trailer. I was offered another size but that equipment would not work for the goods I was moving. this short move took me almost two hours linger because you confirmed a pick up in a northern Kentucky location and then moved me at the last minute when I did not have a chance to change my plans or the vendor I used to rent a trailer. I learned that his is a common practice at u Haul and I am sure many people have been disappointed by this. For my extra time and gas and frustration with changing schedule I believe U Haul should not charge me for this rental!

I RESERVED MY TRUCK OVER THE PHONE AND EXPLAINED THAT I NEEDED A ONE WAY RENTAL (PICK UP IN CINCINNATI DROP OFF IN KY) AND THEY SAID "NO PROBLEM MR. SOARD PICK UP AT 4 AND AND DROP LATER. WELL I GO IN AT THEY CHANGED THE WHOLE RENTAL SAYING WE HAVE ONE TRUCK THAT WORKS FOR THE OUT OF TOWN DROP AND THAT THEY JUST RENTED IT. WELL BY THIS TIME I WAS EXTREMELY UPSET AND CALLED BACK THE LADY AT THE 800 NUMBER AND SHE WAS AS RUDE AS ONE CAN GET BUT AFTER MY PERSISTENCE SHE TOLD ME TO PUT HER ON SPEAKER AND SHE WOULD TELL THE YOUNG KID WHAT TO DO. SHE TELLS HIM TO USE A BIGGER TRUCK THAT THEY HAVE THAT CAN BE AN OUT OF TOWN AND SHE WOULD PAY THE DIFFERENCE AND SO I LEAVE WITH A TRUCK AND ALL IS WELL UNTIL 5 DAYS LATER AND I GET A BILL FOR $313.00 BECAUSE THEY HAD TO PICK UP THE TRUCK AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION AND THIS IS WHERE THEY ARE UNTRUSTWORTHY BECAUSE THEY AGREED TO GIVE ME THE SAME DEAL AND THAT I COULD LEAVE IT A DIFF LACTATION.

These two places were ok ,however the first place we went to in Greendale , IN at a gas station was horrible! The lot was not fit to keep Uhaul rentals and had no help that was knowledgable about how to hook up trailers. We had a girl that did not hook the trailer up the right way and the trailer came off our hitch and we nearly had an accident on the highway. Thank god no one was around us when this happened! I will be filing a complaint about this and request our money back as we did not use this trailer for the trip. After picking up another trailer in Indianapolis - we saw a huge difference of how this gentleman hooked up our trailer and was a better trip of traveling. Then I was told I would get a discount if I returned the trailer to Cincinnati instead of Greendale ,IN . - So they sent me to Delhi Ave. Uhaul center and the guy working there told me I had to go to Glenway Crossing Uhaul center to drop it off. I was very unhappy about this too- I felt the guy on Delhi Ave didn't want to fool with it so he sent me down the road. I'm not sure if I will ever deal with Uhaul again. I do not expect to be charged from Greendale IN and still have not seen the discount that I was promised for taking it to the Delhi which I was rudely sent down the road to another location.

Return of vehicle was fine. However I had a couple of bundles of unused blankets, which I was told would be refunded. Associate at this location did not know how to refund blankets and had to leave a note for boss. Thus far I have not received the refund.

I reserved equipment over the phone with a card and wanted the charges on that card...was told by Scott that that can't happen since card was not present and told me it has " been like that since the beginning of uhaul" told him I worked for company for 14 years and that was not true, he then hung up on me. Wrong card charged...poor customer service...
