I reserved equipment over the phone with a card and wanted the charges on that card...was told by Scott that that can't happen since card was not present and told me it has " been like that since the beginning of uhaul" told him I worked for company for 14 years and that was not true, he then hung up on me. Wrong card charged...poor customer service...

I reserved a 10' box truck one way using your web site and received confirmation. I received a call the day before the rental to tell me I would get a 15' truck that I didn't need. When I arrived to rent the truck they didn'nt have any of the info from the web site resetvation and could not explain why. Had to re-enter everything. Manager was not very helpful although attendants were.

The kid that checked us out just pointed us in the direction of our truck and we had to try the key out in several trucks before we found it. I asked for a dolly and we also had to get that ourselves. Wasn't too thrilled with the service.

The 9 ft van I rented was new, with only 27 miles on it. However, the handling on this van was awful. The steering was very sensitive to corrections and led to over-steer, particularly when trying to make bends in the road. Was glad I had some experience on some larger vehicles.

I rented a 10 foot truck and an appliance dolly. The truck was not equipped with a ramp. I was unable to move the items I needed to move. When I returned and informed the young lady that I was unaware that the truck didn't have a ramp. She was nonchalant and condescending when addressing my concerns. I'll continue to rent from Uhaul, however I will not rent from this particular location.

I had my fiance pick up the truck initially and they wrote down his name and checked his licnese ID, He signed off on it, and paid cash ($100) with no problem. When he went to pick up the rest of the money on the account (since the "estimated" total was $75 I believe, they said they could not give him any information and that I needed to be present for any money exchange (even when I called in to verify his name and that it's fine) being that he was the initial person who picked up the truck in the first place. When I got there, they did look at my license but all they told me was that I owe'd $7 and 25 cents and we didn't get anything back. My advice is for UHAUL to put the exact amount owed on the total receipt upon UHAUL receiving money from clients so clients aren't expecting change back. Maybe gas/Mileage can be charged separate in the future..I I'm not really sure, but me driving all over only to get my license "verified" just so I can pay more money when I get there I find ridiculous and I don't usually review anything negatively. Maybe on the website, you could put "alternative pick up person" please! This would help a great deal! Other than that, the UHAUL itself was perfect for our move, no issues.
