I lost a day of moving help because the elevator had operating issues. The 'manager' said the next day that it was working, but when i tried, it was not. Turns out she lied when she said a repairman came out and it was fixed. Another person said no one was called to come out and repair it. I was sold 2 locks for both units, then found out there was already a lock in each unit, but still charged me for the ones i didnt need. Only 1 elevator for the size of this location is ludicrous. It's a large compound with equipment rental and storage. Recent state/county road improvements has caused the entrance, office location, and exit to be a little confusing for the first time user.SAMUEL M.

The transport was great and the shipping containers were good. However, I was overcharged (more than the agreed upon amount) and have been going back and forth for months trying to get this fixed. Every person in Billings I have talked to so far has done something different than what we verbally agreed upon. Just from the headache of the experience I wouldn't recommend using this service. I made an online reservation very last moment, late in the night. When I went in early the next morning, everything was ready, the staff were very helpful walking me through the parts of my online check-in that I wasn't clear on. I very seldom rent a truck so I can not say how this location rates. However, when I picked up the truck the mileage was incorrect. The truck had 11,204 but the rental agree said 10,894. I told a person inside, he corrected the mileage on the agreement, initialed it, and said he made a note in the â€œcomputerâ€. When I turned the truck in they were going to charge me for the 310 mile which would be the 10,894 not the 11,204 which was the correct mileage. It was corrected but it took about 20 minutes. If I rent from uhaul again, it will not be this one.DANA M.

The reservation app on the website as well as some of the small independent dealers are broken. I had a reservation and ended up going to four (4) different dealers ending up at a U-Haul Center. The website allowed me to choose a Trailer then it gave be choices for pickup locations, based on my zip code. So I booked a mile away. A few days later I got a call from U-Haul reservations stating that that facility doesn't actually have the trailer i choose. (WTH). So they re-booked me into another dealer 2 miles away. Okay. When I got to that dealer (Ray Honey & CBD) at 8:30 (reservation time) the business was closed and the business times on the window were all scratched off and Monday (which is my reservation day) was blank. I interpreted that as being closed. ???? Again WTH. So I called reservations, stated my problem. The kind lady on the phone apologized and re-booked my to another dealer about 5 miles away. The u-haul lady called the dealer and confirmed that they did have a trailer and it was available. So when I got there the dealer told me that his trailer was not available and was broken (down for maint.). He explained that he told the agent on the phone that. So why would she send me there???? someone was lying... Again WTH. So I called the reservation agent back, told her the story, she then booked me over to the U-Haul Center located about 8 miles away. There, was a better expierence. The General Manager greeted my in my truck and I told her the quick readers digest version and she excellerated my rental to the front of the line and took care of me real fast. Kudos to her and the staff there (-Haul MovinUg & Storage at Grand Ave & Bell Rd, 13440 W Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85378). So this put me an hour and a half off my schedule and 16 miles out of my way. Not a good way to start my day. My only advice is to stay away from small independent dealers and book directly at an actual H-Haul center, no matter how far away they are. First off, the estimate I got from the website was not what I paid for. The employees were unprofessional. They changed my estimate to a special but the special cost me twice as much! They said that it would revert to the cheaper of the two but did not. This infuriates me to no end. I asked the employee to re-run the bill to what the estimate was on line but they played dumb and said they could not. I will never recommend that facility nor U-Haul to anyone I know or anyone that ask which is good moving company would be. I have used them for 8 moves renting trailers, buying 3 bike racks and 3 tow package and renting vans, etc. she is by far the best. The bill has not hit my credit card yet. The inside front wind shield was not clean, the floor mat in the back had a "v" rip in it and there was a chip in the wind shield which resulted in a crack completely across the wind shield. Truck was dirty. They tried to charge me for a "Gas Charge". I drove a total of 11 miles and bought 1.5 gallons of gas before I returned the truck. Really! I went to the Uhaul office in Surprise on June 14th. The young man sold me a lock and did not tell me to put it on immediately.He did not have me sign a contract, I recived a call from Jennifer regarding the contract. I said I would be in to sign. I never can get thru to the Surprise office. Sat 6=27 another call from Jennifer wanting to know if I had moved out, I hadn't even moved in. Because I did not put my lock on the leased the unit to someone else. So I spent another hour getting a different unit rented and locked up. I feel the service was very poor until I talked with Jennifer face to face. I now have a unit and we are moving items in on Thursday. Your phone service is terrible, Put on hold forever and then you don't talk to who called you and they person you do talk to does not know what they problem is. This has not been a good experience.
