Man at the desk was ZERO help instead of even trying he tells me to call the 1800 number and then when I left he was WASHING HIS CAR in the parking lot! No wonder he didn’t have time to help me!

What i would do is make sure there is two people on duty 30 minutes before close. Last minute customers are sometimes anxious.

Make sure to be patient and come like an hour or 45 minutes early. Staff are just there they do not help , the trucks are not ready and not filled with gas. They did not have stuff requested and payed extra for a furniture dolly. Just best bet to go to another Uhaul . I usually do not have issues with other locations but this one even had previous renters blocking the exit and staff was not even there to help and move the teucks.

For long moves I would recommend that a truck with cruise control be provided if possible

Retrain that whole staff from the CSR to the GM. The CSR Antoine gave me the wrong itinerary I wanted a one way he gave me a return rental and didn't know how to modify the contract or use employee discount when renting the equipment. I called the CSR to inform him I'm not on a one way as requested. When I called in he answered the phone by saying what's up Wanda?.. no hello thank you for calling U-Haul.this isn't his personal phone I'm calling, it's an establishment and should be ran as so at all times. Secondly, he said call back on Monday when my manager Amir comes in and we can rectify the situation. I called all day Monday to no avail. Phone never got answered due to the caller I.D. system but as soon as a friend had me on three way calling in from a Texas number, then they magically answer the phone. Amir was not there nor Antoine by the time I returned the truck, and now I'm LIVID. I call the G.M Amir and he hung up in my face for raising my voice. I never cursed him or his staff, but I'm understandably upset and as a GM I know he has dealt with irate customers before, so to hang up in my face was rude and unprofessional. He said we would handle it in the a.m and I wanted to know how, when my flight back to California was at 6 a.m. and the establishment opens at 7 a.m. As a customer and employee of U-Haul, I am displeased and unsatisfied with the service and lack of concern for my issue. I would not recommend that U -Haul to anyone, and professionalism starts from top to bottom and bottom to top. The CSR should be just as knowledgeable and professional as the G.M and vice versa. I'm grateful that my G.M has the class, poise, and professionalism to handle escalated situations and not just hang up in their faces. JERRY LUNN, was very helpful and pleasant.
