The customer service is excellent at this location. I personally have not seen better at any other location. Frankie, the customer service representative was welcoming, respectfully courteous, and efficient. The young man has great work ethics. I have visited this store numerous times in the past and the experience has always been excellent. The store manager always extends an additional welcome to the customers. The customer service was horrible. First they didn't put my equipment I paid for in the truck. I had an issue with the truck because online it doesn't tell you details about the truck and I've never had to wonder if the truck came with a loading ramp. I would think a moving truck comes with one. I called customer service and they said sorry we don't have that info online but that particular truck didn't have a ramp. So I called the location I went to and it was the worst service ever!! The young man that started working at 2:00pm answered the phone and was rude and became very rude and unprofessional as I tried to explain my situation with him all while I am grieving and just trying to get stuff done. He lack customer service which is apart of his job and he had no sympathy nor empathy! He showed poor customer service skills and reflected the company poorly with customer service and integrity. The staff aren't wearing masks. They try degrading customers who are trying to do self return who want to limit their interactions with people. The truck itself needed washed outside and needed the windshield properly cleaned with something that doesn't streak. Employee was rude and racist towards me and other customers in store whom were not black. This was the second time I had an issue with same employee. I called Managment and let him know of incident and he said he would talk to him. I was very upset and could not return trailer so I had my husband go and miss work. When a customer is asking a question don't walk away while your answering the question, instead stop look at the customer and engage in the question being asked. walking away is very unprofessional. This review is an account of our entire experience, not to solely reflect on the Hobby Airport location. We dealt with employees from the Kent WA, Austin TX, and Houston TX locations as well as the general numbers for uhaul and ubox dept. What should have been a smooth and painless move turned into a stressful one due to the mistakes of multiple UHaul employees. We called to change the destination city for our u-box soon after initially booking the reservation, we asked if there were any additional charges etc and were assured nothing else was needed. The day before the u-box was dropped off for us to fill we were told the destination city was never changed and would cost and additional $1000+ dollars to be changed. It took multiple calls for this to be corrected on uhauls end. Although we were told that Uhaul would pay for the mistake, Uhaul attempted to charge our card 5 days in a row while we waited for someone to contact us back. Thankfully we had called our bank to place a hold on the card otherwise we'd be waiting for a refund. We are happy we received our belongings but encountered so many rude and unhelpful employees that we will warn people to steer clear of uhaul to avoid an unnecessarily stressful move.keren L.

When i went to reserve the truck. It said that i could not reserve a a cargo van or regular pick up truck because they had limited availability. So i went with the smallest truck the site would let me reserve. I used the truck for two hours and brought it right back. Just for that, it cost me $140 dollars. Thats way to expensive, in my opinion. But other than that, everything was great. Also thought it was odd that I had to return it to a different location than where i picked it up at.Adora B.

I was charged 3 separate times and when i called they told me they told me the money would be on hold and take up to 3-5 business days for my bank to release. Train attendants on customer service skills. Update technical and electronic devices. Train clerks on courteous, professional, and computer software and viewing and printing receipts. Train clerks to avoid informing customers the only way to receive a receipt is by using phone for screenshot from clerk's phone, Train clerks on proper sanitation and disinfection and avoid eating food at the computer while customers are waiting. The employee was fantastic. Very polite, professional, informative, and helpful. He helped me find the right boxes and lock for my unit. He walked me out and showed me the unit. He also gave me the access card and walked me to all the stations showing me how to use it. The inside of the store was very clean and he ran a tight ship. The only negative, and I had is that there was a leak in the hallway of the storage unit with a mop bucket below it to catch. With the employer saw the leak, he said that he was not informed, and that he would call management right away to get it fixed.ERIC L. | First Impressions
