I was contacted by U-Haul that we would have to return the trailer to a different location than specified in our rental contract. The new destination was another 35 miles round trip out of my way via TX-49 toll road. Travel time, fuel and tolls all on my dime!
I would like to understand why the customer is required to manage logistics for U-Haul. Shouldn't U-Haul be paying me for this service?

The truck was clean and ran fine but the air conditioning only works about 50% of the time. I have driven a lot of these trucks and this particular truck needs shocks in a bad way. It was like riding in a covered wagon across the prairie.

Design box so it's easier to open and close. Had to try multiple times to try to close it because the alignment of the wood was off for closing the door. Had trouble opening and closing box at final drop-off location for removing packed boxes.

Van appeared to be brand new, very clean and in great condition. The entire facility was clean, neat and organized, and well-stocked with any size boxes, equipment, or extras one might need to move. The van was ready when I arrived, and there was no hassle with the check-out or check-in procedure. Unforeseen circumstances forced me to need to keep the van beyond the original return time. It was easy to extend the rental by phone, and clerks were very courteous and easy to work with. I would definitely rent here again!!

I reserved a u box for Saturday May 2 only to find out the associate reserved a storage unit on second floor when I clearly stated I didn’t want to be upstairs. It was clear and understood that I wanted a ubox and she specifically told me I didn’t have to have the round disc lock for ubox. In turn, I purchased a regular lock and key only to have to purchase the round disc because of YOU ALL S MISTAKE

I’ve been an U-Haul Customer for many year's but have to redirect my budget do to the Chaotic mishap’s some of Americans are enduring.I would’ve still been a customer and I would most definitely recommend you to my family and friends because my storage was always protected from 🐜 🐛 🐞, criminal actions, etc. The staff was always professional when I visited the office. It has easy access , great parking space , clean restroom and facilities. And I thank you for your services to me and others because all my belongings were the same as it was when I stored them.

I can’t remember the young lady name that helped me on Saturday. But it was so busy that day and she had a long line. She was working extremely fast getting every customer in and out. When she waited on me. She was extremely nice and had great customer service. I will definitely come back just because she gave great customer service. And when I dropped the truck off at 11:30pm that night. The location was well lit and I felt safe. If I could rate this place I would give it a 10/10.

The unit that was assigned to me was in disrepair . The door track was so damaged that the lock latch hardly functioned. A U-Haul employee had to literally beat the latch to close so that I could lock the unit.

The store manager was very rude and unprofessional as well as the staff at this location. I had my kids with me and as we was trying to return our truck we seen staff members smoking weed out in the open bu the return center, loud vulgar music was playing, my kids heard all the inappropriate music an smelled the weed smoke. I was very upset. When i returned my truck that was sitting on the lot all day because we was waiting on our movers. We was charged a extra 58.00 dollars because the truck was not unloaded. No other customers had that truck reserved so to get charged a extra day was very unreasonable. We were talked to by the staff and the store manger in a very unprofessional manner. I will never spend money at this company again.

I feel like my notification that I had moved out of my unit was not indicated on the storage records and trying to take out an addition fee after the unit was closed a month earlier is poor documentations and my bank charged me fees for your facility making an attempt to charge for an extra month when the unit was properly closed and notifications given to the front office staff.

The after hours were VERY stressful!!! I got to the U haul place to return the truck and literally sat out there for 30 mins before anyone answered the phone to direct me what to do. I feel as though I was charged entirely too much. I feel as though I was charged for being late but, in all actuality I was on time BUT had to wait 30 minutes before speaking to someone. I would most definitely NOT recommend using the after hours to anyone!!!!!!

Society needs more customer service that Paige at the store gave to us. I rate her as a 10 star she will go above and beyond to assist her guest. I can say even with moving she made my experience with renting the truck and storage less stressful.
