Was not told how much the mileage was. Only with solos 1999. Had to wait to get my truck nobody could find the keys to the truck that I was renting. Put me behind on my schedule that way I went inside after waiting. She put me in another truck. All I needed it for one day and to see my credit card account $69 for a one-day rental. Because wasn't told about how much per mileage.if I would have known it was that much I wouldn't rent rented there. Not a very happy customer and show on my credit card was 4911 charge the first time when I returned it was $69 so over $100. is paying for one day rental. Was called and say I went over the mileage and as I was driving the gauge would change each time I go down the street. So not very happy with this rental

U-haul seems to be disparate for cash. They will overcharge you even when their own website check in is experiencing issues. Do not use this service. Return your truck in person. You have been warned because they will not issue a refund.

The young lady who checked us in was not listening, she was very argumentative. We had to keep going back inside to re ask her for task we asked her to do.. for instant the dolly... where the truck was located. It was a mess and I would never recommend this location to anyone. This is not the first time I've had issues with this location. As well as a friend of mine as a storage unit at this location and says if she could she would move her belongings else where. But that location is closer to her home

Your website leads you to believe you can pick up and drop off at certain locations. After we have made the reservation, you let us know that those locations don't work. This is misleading advertising, borderline false advertisement. This happened for BOTH our pick-up and DROP-OFF locations. I plan to shop elsewhere for my next moving needs.

Truck was excellent with only 7200 miles on it. It pulled very well. I will be renting more trucks from uhaul in the future as long as they keep the trucks looking and handling like that. Only thing i saw was you need better drivers who can backup a tralier

Manager at end of rental very rude, when we rent the truck it was at closing and went to go pick up our things out of the storage we rented from u haul and they had a lock on our storage for non payment, which it was paid up thru Oct 7, and when we tried to explain to manager the next day when they opened he denied it was a lock on the storage and wouldn't do anything about it. I have pictures tho. Will never rent or recommend this location

The truck was ready when we arrived at 7:15 a.m.; the clerk advised me what was expected, wished me a happy Birthday (she noticed the date when checking my drivers license. I will definitely use them again when I need to rent a truck.!!!

Management was rude. Equipment was fine but a manager should never talk to a customerlike theyvare dumb and the way she talked to her employes was uncalled for. Honestly if a manager talked to me like that i would have quit! Never going to recommend 3020 i-20 W grand prairie location to anyone. 2901 pioneer has way better employees and are much more friendly. I will only pick up from the pioneer location.

I scheduled on Saturday for a specific location/date for Sunday. I later received a call that location is closed on Sunday. Why give it an option on line then? The location available for Sunday was 10+ miles out of the way and I had to pay the mileage for this, even though U-Haul on line had the incorrect information. I should be reimbursed for those 10 miles.

I reserved a truck several days before pickup date. Provided the drop off location which was included in the confirmation I received. On pickup date the drop off location does not appear in the list of selections. Wasted 10 minutes arguing why that information is missing and where and what the cost will be if I drop it off somewhere else. To change the drop of location after the contract has been printed I have to call an 800 number. The Waite was 20 minutes. Very frustrating

This location have shown me the best customer service I have ever seen else where. The staff was super nice and very helpful. I had questions about towing hitches and they answered all my questions. Even though this place is a bit far off I will come here for any uhaul needs. Keep up the good work.

We experienced two tire blowouts on our 20' truck rental on a single leg of our 175 mile trip. One blowout occurred just 30 minutes into the trip, which left us stranded on the side of the road for almost 3 hours. The second blowout occurred 10 miles from our destination which again delayed us. We requested a refund for the rental cost of the truck rental; we received a partial refund "for our troubles" but were denied a full refund. After escalating our request, I had the unfortunate experience of speaking with Sean Fullerton, Regional President of Marketing. He quickly stated that the blowouts on this truck were likely our fault, that the truck surely hadn't been packed correctly or that we must have hit debris or nails in the road. He stated that he could not take me at my word when I told him that we hadn't hit debris, twice, in a single trip. He stated that it was the customers responsibility to do a comprehensive inspection on the tires, otherwise we were the liable party. The tires that exploded were 3 years old and Sean said that was fine because they were allowed to be 4 years old, in Texas, during the summer, on a 20' truck. He also suggested I play the lottery because "this kind of thing never happens." He laughed at me, made fun of our situation and was condescending. I have never had a more negative conversation with an individual in my life. He stated that there was nothing he would do to help us further and that there is no one else to speak with about our request. I feel very sad that a large company like Uhaul employs individuals like Sean and does not hold them accountable to provide good customer service. I look forward to sharing this experience so that others can hopefully learn from it and not put their lives at risk by renting a truck from Uhaul.

Only issue is the roof caving in and some of my things getting damaged. Glad I have the insurance. But U-Haul stepped in and moved our things to the Pioneer and 360 location as quickly as possible. We still need to go through our belongings to see what's what. But so far so good regarding the action took to move our things.

Made a reservation a month prior to renting the trailer. Ordered the largest trailer and they called the day before we were suppose to pick it up to let us know they were unable to get that size for us and were putting us in the smallest pull trailer they rent. Since I was moving my son and his furniture into his college apartment this was absolutely unnacceptable. They called 5 minutes prior to their closing time and left a voicemail. When I called back no answer and had to call the customer service number which I was disconnected twice and never was able to talk to a live person. I left a chat message hoping I would hear back from someone. No luck. My husband luckily had a contact higher up in the company which put us in touch with the right size trailer in Grand Prairie and hour from where we live. So, we had no other choice than to go drive a total of two hours to get this trailer that should have been right down the street from us. When he arrived to pick up the trailer they wanted to charge him triple what my original rental fee was I had locked in a month prior. Terrible service and so disappointing! At the time of setting up the trailer rental they offered a free storage space for a month. We took them up on it. We only stored my sons items there for three weeks and then loaded him up for college. My husband went in and told them we had moved out of our unit and the manager said he would take care of it. Then I got an email notice that they were about to charge my card for the month, even though we had moved everything out and notified them a couple weeks prior. Poor handling on every possible level. They gave us a $50 return, big deal! Didn't even cover the gas to drive to Grand Prairie to pick up the trailer that was suppose to be right down the street from my house.

The staff was limited on how they could help , because of the situation this location is in! It’s very unfortunate that the building was in such poor shape without us knowing ! Had we know this building has had future problems and was barely patched up only to have more problems when it rained I would have NEVER stored my valuables here! There really needs to be more then one elevator! I Due to the lack of attention the owner has put into his building ! I received a texted my unit has water damage ! I went moved a few things to my second dry unit and thankfully I did our my 82 in and my 55 inch TVs would have been ruined !! And I moved my pictures which some of them got wet and ruined and I can replace a tv but not priceless memories of pictures I can’t get back !!! I went the next day and they cut my lock and changed it without telling me which means they were in my unit without my knowledge! Had I not gone by to tell them about the leak they I would have never know that they were about to unload my unit with people they found on Craigslist and moved all my large storage unit into small portable crates that who know how it would have been stored and who knows if they would have all been kept together or have my stuff would have been lost ! It looked super unorganized and it was complete chaos!!! The owner cussed at me when he was talking to me ! I went to my car and cried because I didn’t know what to do ! So I was forced to miss work and loose money !!!!! Pray someone could help me ! I had to pay to rent a uhaul which I should be credited for !!!!!! They assigned 3 people to help me load the uhaul well they didn’t tie anything down and I might as well threw my stuff away because it all fell over and cracked and scratched up my dressers and computer desks, broken frames and mirror ! This was such a horrible expensive experience!!!!! I will never use this company again!!! I do want to let whoever know during this whole horrific event not one person wore a mask or social distancing!!! No hand sanitizer or Lysol spray !!! This was handled very poorly ! Unfortunately I had some items with mold from the water I had to throw away also! My storage unit wasn’t the worst there were tons of other people that had to throw all their stuff away !!!! This wasn’t the first time this storage place has had something like this I heard !!!

The women behind the counter took at least a minute to finish their conversation before acknowledging that I was there. I was the only customer in the building at the time. One of the women, loudly exclaimed that she was "about to cancel some of these orders because they aren't showin' up". I told the representative my name, I was a little over an hour after my reservation time. I was then told that I'm "lucky... cause I was just about to cancel your truck". I ignored this, and simply said... "No, you're lucky that you didn't cancel the truck, because our day wouldn't start off so well." After examining the truck, I found unmarked scratches to the exterior, and on the glove compartment. When I went inside, the same woman as before responded. I asked her, "How do I update the cosmetic condition of the vehicle... is there someone available to do a walk-around?" She asked what type of damage, so I explained. She said "Oh these trucks go through a lot, we don't look out for stuff like that. You're good" Do I really have to elaborate any further? Overall, customer service was awful, the truck didn't have cruise control, and I was charged for things that were not loaded up outside. They weren't on the rental agreement in hand... so I assumed that location didn't carry the items. I only received the Medium and Large boxes, I didn't receive the Flat Panel TV box, and never ordered the mattress bag.

Six plus years of having a storage space there, every time I went into the office I had to deal with someone that had poor customer service skills. Rude people that won't even greet a customer until they feel like it. There are videos on youtube to teach you good customer service skills. You can also go to Chik Fil A and see how customers get treated with respect. Simple retail transaction like buying a box or a roll of tape would take 15 minutes. Plenty of negative reviews on Google, but you dont care to change. And tell that lady not to call me anymore. She doesn't even identify herself or the purpose of her call. She just says: "Hello Mr Patrick, how you doin today?" like I'm some kind of ten year old that is supposed to take time out of my busy day to figure out who it is and tell her how my day is going, satisfy her curiosity. The custodians in the storage were nice though. The only reason I stayed was because I felt they were keeping a close eye on things. Don't bother me anymore. I was tired of dealing with you people a long time ago.

I gave a below average only because of the customer service personal. She acted like I was supposed to know what she is talking about. For example, she asked for my renter's insurance, I said I will have to bring it back. At the end of the transaction, I looked at her asking, "how do I get to my storage unit?" The office staff was very rude and hostile every time I dealt with them. There is no excuse for their poor manners. Poorly trained and hostile. I moving my stored goods to another NON UHAUL storage facility where the office people have manners and are respectful to the customers. The custodians do a good job taking care of the actual storage area. They were always polite.

The storage itself is very good and other staff members are good. But the manager, that lady is horrible. She needs to go for customer relationship training. She was mean and terrible. The customer service that was given was unprofessional snd the lack of respect given to us as customers. Filed a formal dispute with Uhaul. We received comments from other staff members that this form of disrespect is often given at this location and management continues to allow such behavior.

I could not get in the storage with a trailer full because my 24 hour access was denied. UHaul better void my contract and refund my trailer which was wasted. Couldn’t move in because ACCESS DENIED.

Clean facility, staff is not the best at customer service. I was told upon move-in that I would get a free truck- never got it. Also told I had 24 hr access when I moved in, but was charged extra.

The only elevator they had was down, on a Sunday, the last weekend of the month. You could use the stairs but the door closed behind you and you are stuck in the stairwell. Not convenient.
