The ability to checkin online before pickup is awesome wait no its not! It is completely useless for a trailer, why give me the option and let me sit there and wait if it isn't really an option because of insurance purposes. I can't believe a company of your size can't find a programmer to properly program your app that looks at the object being rented and takes away the option to check in online. I waited 20 min for the app to respond and 20 min standing in line after I was told you couldn't check in that way. All the signage in the store and online brags about how great online check in is supposed to be. Please contact me if you I need my help in finding a competent programmer.Pamela X.

The team was awesome and so was Dave when I turned in my equipment ( hope that was his name, it was a long hot humid day)JAXSEN M.
The first reservation I made was 7 days in advance but was soon changed to the Speedway and Craycroft location by the Ina location. That was 40 minutes from my house.. By day 4, I canceled that and re booked the reservation at Ina again, and it stuck. On pickup at Ina, there were 5 available car haulers in the lot. The staff was wonderful but understaffed for the rush. The line was 5 deep. Mike the general manager knew his stuff and was very efficient. He dove right in to help his advisors with the customers. I appreciate Mike's decision to do that. It is a sign of an active manager.Dean N.

When I scheduled this, I was told over the phone the drop off and my storage unit would be Oracle Road. I called back the day before I was arriving and they said that’s not what’s in the system. They sent me to Golf Links for storage but when I got there, there was no unit available for me. Finally, when I was redirected to Ina Rd., I was still given a hard time before finally receiving the smallest possible unit to store the contents of your 6x12 trailer. Poorly managed expectations and underwhelming delivery/execution of service. Overpromised and under delivered. To add insult to injury, I was unable to access any online platform to return trailer and have to return again during business hours to tell them I left a trailer in their lot. The only rental on my account is the storage unit and despite talking with the local scheduling manager, I was not easily able to remove the trailer or check it back in.James S. | First Impressions

There was a 1:15 hour line starting at 7am. The line was only about 6 customers deep. The manager was workin bathe desk alone. He was professional and personable but importantly, alone. At 8am, another worker showed up but then disappeared. It took me over an hour to drop off a trailer. Read the google reviews; this location is not doing well. One tire was extremely low, I pointed it out to employee, who then had to take the time to fill tire while I waited. We had reserved a furniture dolly, another dolly and furniture pads which weren't placed in uhaul so had to to move without dollies or pads at 7am, since stores only opened until 9am.MYRNA R.

The kid in charge - Damian Diaz - was a punk jerk to me and I ended up canceling my reservation because of his attitude and lack of knowledge and customer service - he was a moody teenager with authority - not a good combo. Other employee Angel was much nicer and actually listened. Get rid of Damian ASAP.SIOBHAN L.
I had the experience by getting a very different asset, one that I would bet will crash on the highway, the employee gave me the affirmative decision that everything is going well with that, and it did, but not sure why UHaul just doesn't care about that precise trailer I got, it was really ugly but with good tires. However, I spend more time in the store just to get that trailer than I was expecting.. I mean I had everything ready but nothing to do I guess...ROBERTO D.

Initial pick up was located at 450 N Freeway. Due to internal misinformation within the company, a vehicle was not available when arrived to pick up at 10:38 am. The clerk in attendance did not notify my representative of a problem either until she went up to counter to inquire. Basically was given the run around initially.Alice C.
The trailer I got was the oldest trailer I have even gotten at a uhaul site. The problem with it was that it did not have the same amount of rings to tie ropes to that all the other trailers I have rented had.SUZANNE P.

The hold tines to reach customer service are extremely long. I was unable to use the website, for some reason. I could log in, but I was unable to do anything once logged in. If I tried to change or update any thing, it would just loop me back to the log in page. Otherwise, my experience with U HAUL has been phenomenalVERNA M.

This store really needs to get their act together and put some procedures in place to improve their customer service. We pulled into the return lane which was a mess from the start. The guy outside was not the least bit friendly. He waved at us to back up so he could move a van. Then waved us forward, then backward, then forward again for no apparent reason. He then told us to back up and drive to the other side of the store to wait for someone to unhitch the dolly. According to his name tag, this gentleman was actually the owner, Micheal Herrick, and he was not the least bit friendly or professional. My husband stayed outside to wait for someone to come unhitch us while I went inside to complete the return. Inside, there was a long line almost to the door with only one employee working at the counter. My husband got tired of waiting in the heat and decided to unhitch the dolly himself or it would have taken even longer. I can understand if you're busy, but a greeting when you arrive or an apology would go a long way. It took us 45 min to return a car dolly. Ridiculous!STEELE M.

All I can find is Sonia Weaver on my receipt I’m not sure if that was the lady that I had dealt with but she was very frustrated and huffing/puffing the entire time. Her and another worker were complaining about someone not cleaning up the storage unit I had reserved. To me that is unprofessional and doesn’t need to be talked about in front of customers. She told me she will have it cleaned out by 3. I had arrived after 3 & the unit was untouched. My fiancé had to go ask for a broom and a male worker told my fiancé to wait so he can ask if the manager wanted him to clean it out & a female worker said “no he can clean it himself” that is very rude! Pisses me off more that I gave Sonia the extra time to have it cleaned just to have my fiancé clean it out instead. My overwhelming primary purpose/need for a storage unit was to have a place 2 park 2 excellent like new condition motorcycles inside and to be able to access and drive them daily. However i was informed by the GM of the facility that Uhaul corporate policy precludes motorcycles from storage units unless the machine is drained of all fluids and the batteries removed. Therefore mt uhaul storage unit was worthless to me. That is an absolutely ridiculous overly conservative policy rule. I then comparison shopped across 8 other storage facilities in the vicinity . not one of them had any rule against storing motorcycles.Christopher C. | Overall Experience
