Incredibly long wait. Employees didn't even acknowledged the line of 8+ people or apologize for the wait. I reserved my truck in advance and still waited more than 30 minutes in line. At drop off, my husband was the only one in the store and still had to walk up to one of the employees to get their attention only to have them push him off on someone else. We had already checked in the truck and simply needed to give them the keys but that was apparently that was too difficult for the employee to understand.Joshua G.

Customer service was decent. However, THE PERSON WHO PUT THE TRAILER ON DID NOT SECURE IT CORRECTLY. I ALMOST ENDED UP IN A SEVER ACCIDENT ON THE I-430 BRIDGE WHEN THE TRAILER DISLODGED FROM MY VEHICHLE, CAUSING ME TO DRAGE IT THROUGH IT CONSTRUCTION SITE ON THE BRIDGE. I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND STAYED ON HOLD FOR OVER 30 MINUTES TWICE WITH NO PERSON ANSWERING. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a rental company.ERIC N.

The front desk employee was not personable or helpful. He did not offer suggestions or work to accommodate us after letting us know that we could not have a 20 ft truck for my 2 day rental thus causing us to take several trips and increase milage for something that was right in the city!! We ended up with a 15ft truck which was not what I ordered and a bill of almost $500 because of these multiple trips. I called to speak with a manager but no one answered after being on hold for 33 minutes!!!!! Poor service this time Uhaul!LAMAR J.

If you reserved on line a van with a dolly, you expect to received the equipment you reserve. No excuses. I reserved a dolly and a 10ft. And they were not ready to pick up. I got a 9ft van and no dolly. This is shit in a moving day .GILBERTO C.

Your GM is a racist. She was very rude to me and she refuse to respond to my emails or ones from my family. I paid you all for about three years, and when i was hospitalized for emergency surgery, my daughter asked for a possible ext. Dhe even had a letter from my doctor. Your female GM said, I don't care if she is sick. She has to pay. My daughter never said she would pay, only asked for a few days after the 3rd. So, no I will not be telling anybody about how good you are. You all should be ashamed. She is a rude, racist who does nit have a heart of compassion. The employees were very friendly and helpful, but the facilities seemed to have many issues. A lot of interior lights were burned out on multiple occasions when we visited, the gate to access the storage building area was always open when we visited, we noticed rat poison laying around, multiple units near my own had cards on the door that said they had mold growing inside and remained that way the entirety of the time I had my unit, and the insulation on the ceiling in my unit was falling apart so badly that all of my items had to be cleaned off upon removal. I had a free one month storage as a bonus for renting from Uhaul which in itself was a plus. The staff went above and beyond in networking for me to help sell the fridge I was storing, saving me storage fees. I am very grateful to them for their efforts and time. My only complaint is that the outdoor access storage unit I reserved online was not actually available when I arrived. There were indoor and larger units available, just not what I asked for or what was confirmed online. The storage unit I ended up with was $30 more per month, which will add up over time. I was told that the U-Haul website confirmation doesn't necessarily mean anything for the local U-haul businesses. I've had this problem before where the right hand doesn't know (or care) what the left hand is doing. The local folks did try to accommodate my exist request, but it would have meant going to a different branch/facility, one further away from my residence.
