There was a sign under the awning in front of the store indicating that I should stop there with the U-Haul equipment and someone would be there shortly. I pulled up and waited several minutes. After that, I stepped into the store to find someone. I found one associate at the counter on the phone and trying to assist another customer. I assumed she was the only one there. I went back outside and waited for another associate. After several more minutes, I went back inside and approached the counter. A man sitting at the desk beside the counter asked if he could help. I told him I had equipment outside to return, and he went out with me to check it. The check in was quick (no more than 5 minutes) once an associate was there to help.

We had a car dolley reserved for 12:00 noon. Arriving early they told us it had not arrived yet. After 30 minutes of waiting and asking again about the status of the dolley, the lot attendent said he thought he knew of one on the lot. There was one on the lot that had not been checked into inventory. Thanks to the lot attendant. The guys behind the desk need to pay more attention to their people on the lot. They had to argue about who's fault it was that it was not checked in. Kudos to lot guy! Desk jockeys not so much!!!

The customer service at this location was pathetic. I made a reservation Saturday morning to pick up a trailer and arrived at the exact time to stated I would pick it up. 45 minutes later, I was still waiting in line while one of the customer service employees sat at a desk in plain view of the 15 people in line and enjoyed his Burger King and coffee. Once I did finally get to the front, the breakfast guy, who decided he would finally start working, informed me that my reservation was not on the system so I had to go through the entire process again. A friend of mine that ended up in line behind me made a reservation for an appliance dolly 4 days prior and was told after he stood in line for an hour, that they had given all of them out earlier that morning. The only positive from the entire experience was the guy that helped hook up the trailer. He seemed to be the only one who cared about taking care of anyone. Overall I would avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be treated rudely and wait in line for hours.

Check in and checkout went smoothly. An exact pickup time couldn't be confirmed until a few days before which seems odd to me. If I were hiring a team of movers I would need to know an exact time more than a week in advance. Thankfully my moving buddies were flexible on time, but it would be better if uhual could confirm the truck pickup time further in advance. Overall everything worked well and in the end the truck was ready at the exact time I requested.

I asked about dropping off at a different location. I decided I would try to just bring it back there. I changed my mind and wanted to leave it in Conway. No one wanted to do their job at either location to help me. First they forgot to give me pads that I paid for after telling me I couldn't use one of the 10 packs they had on their floor, then they told me it would be double the price of the rental, and the they told me it would be what the other place was quoting me which was over $100. But thanks to Misty from 1-800-go uhual seriously hooked me up!! Thanks a lot for the the help and it's really unfortunate for all of uhual to get a bad rap from these independant companies.

The equipment was very clean and looked to be maintained but pulling it was a very serious problem. This is the 5th time I had rented the same size trailer to haul the same load for my son to and from college. The first 4 time I had no problems with the trailer. This time I could not drive above 40 MPH with having problems with it fish tailing...with times so bad it was dangerous.

Uhaul and local staff ensured that a queen bed would fit in the trailer. This is a misleading statement. The box springs will not fit on the trailer. I'm not sure if it is because the trailer we received was the oldest on the lot or if it is a misleading statement. (The staff that assisted in unhooking the trailer said he had never heard of our trailer # before; and indeed, all other trailers on the lot started with a different prefix. ). When I arrived at the apartment we were moving, which was out of town, I called to inform the Little Rock uhaul that it didn't fit and I wanted to possibly switch it with another one. The phone attendant let me know that because of the size, it could not be a 1 way and that I would need to drive back to Little Rock to swap out the trailer and get a different one. However, if I had selected the size below this one, or possibly the size above, I would be able to swap it at a local uhaul site and pay the difference. What amazed me was, knowing that that option was not practical for me, the phone attendant had no other options for me. She only repeated the same information 3 times. I finally let her know that I fully understood what I rented and I fully understood my option of driving 6 hours to return the falsely advertised trailer and get another one to load the furniture. At this point I was over frustrated. In the end, and because we were in a time schedule, we had to ruin the box spring in order to move all the furniture out of the apartment. I would not recommend uhaul or uhaul Little Rock. If no other options are available, I would recommend lowering your expectation of customer service and rent a size larger that what the website states you need. The two gentlemen in the rental yard that assisted in connecting and disconnecting the trailer were the best attitudes and kindest of everyone.

They did not have the truck I initially rented. The second truck was filled roaches. The third truck drove horribly as if it had an alignment issue. The lady working customer service was less than friendly. I honestly feel like I should not have had to pay for the rental.

My pick up location was changed without my knowledge to a site 8 miles or so out of town and much farther away from my selected pick up location. As a result, the mileage allotted to me for my one-way rental was insufficient to cover my trip and I'm having to pay extra. I expected this would happen when I learned of the switch, but I was informed far too late to make alternative plans. Poor bait and switch policy at the corporate level. I'll definitely think twice before using U-Haul again.

The return address they gave me no longer accepts uhaul returns. I then had to pay $20.57 in mileage to get to another location. These people need to update their system so that no one else is charged to something beyond their control.

The store manager was the best in all areas of our purchase! I felt like a member of her own family . The care she took to help me decide what I needed was above the bar so high she would be hard to compete with. I give her a 10+. M hat is off to Kanis Road!!!

The dolly was in the way of the flooring I was loading into the truck. I called the Kanis location to ask permission to cut the zip tie and move the dolly out of the way without penatly. The manager granted me the permission, but you still dinged me for $7. And now one of your phone reps tells me the only way to fix this is to drive teh 12 miles back and take care of this in person. I went ahead and got the extra coverage on the trailer against dents and dings. However when we went for inspection of trailer I found multiple dents dings and trailer was fairly dirty. So I felt I wasted money on this extra coverage. Mechanically the trailer was fine. And operation of doors, lights etc. was fine.
