The employees were not wearing masks. I asked the employee who helped me to pull her mask up and she reacted aggressively. It's a shame because the location is so convenient for me, but I will never go back after the way she behaved

My pick up location was moved twice on the day I was to pick up my uhaul. Then 30 min before I was to pick up my moving truck and hand cart and 2 furniture dollies from the new location, I was called and left a message that the location did not have the furniture dollies. I tried to call back and I was transferred to a call center that said there was nothing they could do. The charge was still on my reservation. I did the move and was late by 3 hours returning the truck due to the fact that the move took longer because I did not have the dollies. I did the after hours drop off and disputed my bill due to the fact I did not get what I reserved. I was then called at 8 am by someone at uhaul billing who was very rude. First thing they said was I was late and that is why they are charging me the extra day of rental. I asked her if she read my comments on why I was disputing the bill. She said no. I explained that I did not receive the furniture dollies and that is why the move took longer. They did nothing to help or offer to get me in contact with a manager. I will never use uhaul again. Customer service is horrible and of the 4 people I spoke with on the phone, no one had answers or had a solution.all they said it was not their department. No one at uhaul seems to care about customer service and satisfaction.

I ordered a dolly and furniture pads online, but I don't think that was communicated well to the staff because they didn't have them for me. Other than that hiccup, the uhaul location there was great, everything went really well!

The trailer was not "dirty" when I pick it up. however, when I opened the trailer it had a pile of moving blankets strewn in a corner with a hand truck and moving dolly on top. The trailer had obviously not been opened when it was returned, so no cleaning was done. I returned the items when I brought the trailer back.

Great hospitality. They were very accommodating with having us leave our 26 foot truck in the lot overnight while we stayed in a nearby hotel.We picked it up very early the next morning to unload. This was over the top hospitality.

I had to tow a vehicle but was given the wrong type of trailer to haul the type of vehicle I had, I was told I could not drop off and pick up at a more local uhaul facility that had the correct trailer and had to drive an additional 50 miles with the uhaul truck to go pick up the correct trailer. rear wheel vehicles can not be towed on a dolly without disconnecting the drive shaft, for some people they would not know this, and leaves an opportunity for someone who is not educated on this to ruin drive train items on there vehicle. The towing vehicle option could be better coded to understand the vehicle they input better to prevent customer damage to vehicles.

The online app would not work when I tried to return the truck the previous evening. So I had to keep it for anther night, adding mileage and using more gas as I had to bring it back to my hotel overnight.

While it wasn't a major problem and may have been due to the cold weather the tire pressure low signal was on. There also was a signal that indicated a problem with the engine but none ever occurred.

The vehicle was dirty. Trash left in side storage compartment on passenger side. The customer reps were fine and helpful. The vehicle needed to be serviced by a professional. Engine compartment sounded like a squeaky belt or bearing on an idler going bad.

Only one person was wearing a mask in the office when I walked in. I had also updated my reservation online to occur a day earlier. For some reason it didn't show up there. The trailer left signal light didn't work unless my lights were on and sometimes did not blink with the left turn signal. This was shrugged off by employees. If I had a further trip, I would have requested a different solution. Further, I was instructed that I could drop the trailer off at any location near my destination. They said yes, as none of my paperwork had a specific dropoff location. However, when I drove to the closest location and logged into u-haul.com/share for my return, it had a SPECIFIC location for dropoff. After making sure I was at the right location, the online app refused to accept my location and photo of the trailer to verify the dropoff. If someone hadn't been there today, on Christmas Eve, I would have had no way to notify uhaul of proper dropoff time.

The woman who assisted in pickup was the most rude person I have dealt with. She did not say more than 3 words to me when I was getting the truck and I had to remind her I rented dollies and she was furious i even asked. When Said thank you, I heard her mutter "fuck off" under her breath as she walked away. It was early on a weekend and I can understand being tired, but she was rude and extremely unprofessional. She had tattoos on her hands for reference, since she didn't speak I couldn't get a name. Returning the truck the two guys who assisted were great. The truck was clean. The door had some issues closing but otherwise everything went well.

There are no instructions on the website or even in an email on what to do when your container arrives early and you want to pick it up early. The staff in Charleston were most accommodating. There also were no instructions on how to pay your final balance but the staff said they take care of that. The only minor snafu was no one cancelled the original pick up appointment and we got a call to set up a time. I would highly recommend U-Haul and your storage containers.

The online check in for drop off would not work. I waited an hour for them to open as I was there at 8am. My phone location was turned on and worked in other apps, not the U-Haul app. Wasted an hour waiting then had to stand in line to process return.

We picked up our truck early in the morning. When looking for our truck number and were to get in the truck a person came out of the back of the truck next to ours and started yelling about we were disturbing them as they were sleeping in the truck. We felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. Due to this as a female I will never rent from this location alone or refer my friends and clients. This should not be able to occur. This is a safety issue!

Good location and convenient. Felt secure and met my needs for the time. Not sure why, but all the staff seem to be miserable working there. Not friendly at all. Also, the recurring payment choice never worked, and each month I had to call and hope they would remove late fee.

This is the only place that I know of that charges twice as much than anyone else to store items in a flood plain, Of course there is no grace period for paying the rent, even if you can’t get to the storage area due to a flood. Just out of curiosity, if the storage area were flooded and stayed flooded for 6 months straight, would you still charge rent for those six months during which our items were under water? I will not be back and neither will anyone that I speak with.

There need to be trash cans more centrally located within the Uhaul storage area itself, the fact that we had to walk all the way around the entire building to get to the dumpster was extremely time consuming and ill-efficient. Clearly others feel the same way because there was constantly trash strewn through out the corridors. There is always a super long line in the customer service area and oftentimes associates who are unwilling and uninterested in helping whatsoever. On several occasions we had issues with Carol, who was not only demeaning, and apathetic but has the customer service ability of a dirty diaper. Sadly enough, she is the Manager or Owner!! As the highest on payroll she deserves a severe demotion and someone else needs to run that place. The only thing this place has going for it is its location and proximity to downtown. That and theres a young man who works there named TJ who is the diamond in the rough at that place. He works mostly outside, in the heat, helping to return and clean out the Uhauls. Our interaction with him was the only positive experience we can glean from patronizing with this Uhaul. He deserves a raise and a promotion for maintaining a positive attitude, being helpful, dilligent, willing to go above and beyond for the customer, all amidst clearly poor conditions and management that he has to work with. I hope his spirit doesnt get broken by the terrible attitudes of his colleagues and I hope UHAUL as a company regonizes his hard work and enacts stricter guidelines for the rude "managment" and "Customer service" agent you all have employed there.

Mike was the ONLY employee that I wanted to deal with - All others parked cars in front of the units(and in handicap)leaving no spaces although we asked them politely not to. This is why we left.
