The original unit was to small and they put me into the next u it it up with no issue great customer service !!! I was running a few hours behind my son and I was able to handle him checking in to the unit and u loading before I even got here it was awesome ! I have used this location just fir trucks this is first tine fir storage but they are awesome why I go to sane location

I think it's crazy that I have to wait 3-5 business days to get the difference of what I paid & what my actual charge was. Don't like my card ran twice.

My experience at this location was wonderful. The website was easy to follow. Once I arrived at the location, the time from entering the door and driving off in my U-haul Rental was approximately 15 minutes. The return was simple.

Excellent experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My move was accomplished without any problems thanks to the quality of equipment and staff. I'd use U-Haul again without hesitation.

COVID has really made us less commutative and the distance is evident in the check in and check out. Polite enough for sure, but rudimentary as expected. I am overall satisfied with the reservation, pick-up and drop off, with NO contact.

Check in agent was friendly and efficient. Explained everything thoroughly. Dropped the keys off close to closing time and the receiving agent was welcoming and great.

I wish I'd gotten the name of the representative who helped us, but he was so courteous, helpful and professional. The process was seamless, which we were so grateful for since moving is anything but easy! We also rented a storage unit from this location and had a very good experience. Moving supplies are excellent quality and very well-priced. Highly recommended.

1. Great bam. The mirrors were fantastic. Van very clean. Lived that I did not have to use my phone to check the van back in. The young man was very nice. Liked the limited contact but took longer getting the van than I thought it would, but having someone text and call me was a great help. Would definitely use the same place and uhaul again.

The employee “Shy” did not have a mask on. The city in which it was rented has a mandatory mask mandate. https://www.talchamber.com/leon-county-mask-ordinance-business-protocols/ The business has a 8x11 sign on the front door stating this requirement and even has a picture of a face with a mask. During the rental process I asked the employee “Shouldn't you be wearing a mask?” She stated”Yea, I guess I should” then did absolutely nothing to remedy the problem and just kept on going with the rental. She then came outdoors to inspect my hitching of the trailer again without a mask and within 6' of me. Clearly this employee/ location has no regard for the city mandate nor the safety of U-Haul's customers. Her rude attitude through the process and disregard for the safety of others will keep me from using that location again. I would not recommend that location to anyone. I have rented U-haul trailers at other locations as well as Penske trucks in this town with no issues.

Passenger rear view mirror loose, swinging all about, completely useless. Driver's door gasket loose, swinging all about. The transmission was stuck in hill-climbing mode and the shifting was not smooth and jerked the truck and its passengers and contents. The location had very poor parking and was difficult to maneuver around. The only bright spot was the amazing professional associate who handled my transactions, both when renting and returning the truck.

The truck had trash in the cab I paid for a appliance dolly and got a mover pro dolly which was not right the guy acted like he did not want to help me when we picked the truck up will never use them again

The pick up process was more difficult than necessary and the uhaul customer service didn't answer the phone for over 3o minutes

Not happy about how my charges jumped from $20 to over $80! I understand paying for the mileage (which itself is ridiculously steep) but the Lake Ella staff pressured my husband into adding on the insurance, insisting it was a part of the reservation. That was a boldface LIE

The store was very clean and well-stocked. The customer-service was welcoming, friendly, and very efficient. I will definitely be doing business with this location again even though I live across town. I have done business at other locations in Tallahassee; this location aces them all!

Maintain the equipment better.

The facility was fine. The people I talked to were fine but they were at some remote phone bank somewhere. The actual facility never, and I mean NEVER, answered the phone and I tried every hour of the day. To get a live chat online or a person on the phone, took 15 minutes, and then we would get disrupted and have to start all over. Very frustrating.

The service met my expectations. Unfortunately, due to the exorbitantly high price of the rental I'll be forgoing utilizing U-Haul for any of my transportation or storage needs.

The gentleman who assisted with picking up my reservation was very polite and helpful and had me ready to go within 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this location to others.

Absolutely nothing. That was the easiest drop off in my life.

I have not problems or complaints with the storage unit. My issue lies with the truck rental. I originally reserved a 20 foot truck over a week in advance to be picked up in Albany, Ga on Saturday, 8/15. The reservation was to pick in Albany, and return the truck to the Uhaul located at 1580 N. Monroe Street where I had secured a storage unit. I received a call on Friday 8/14 that there were no 20 foot trucks anywhere in Albany. The lady put me on hold, came back on, and asked if I would take a 26 foot truck instead but I would have to go to another location. She said it would be for the same price and I asked twice if all the other contract conditions would apply -- meaning the truck was to be dropped off at the same Uhaul at 1580 N. Monroe Street. I was told yes both times. I accepted even though I did not need a larger vehicle. After loading the truck and unloading our furniture at the 1580 N. Monroe St. location, I proceeded to turn the truck in. However, I was then told I had to take it to the 5050 W. Tennessee St. location which was across town. When I asked about what the contract said, I was informed it would cost me a penalty to turn the truck in at 1580 N. Monroe St. and there was nothing they could do. Now, I want to be clear the young men working at 1580 N. Monroe St. could not have been more courteous and pleasant; however, I was forced to drive the truck across town. When I arrive at 5050 W. Tennessee St., I was then asked WHY I didn't just leave the truck at 1580 N. Monroe St. I explained to the man there what I was told and he said that was incorrect, that I did to need to bring the truck to another location. That was frustrating end to a long day. Again, I want to make it clear that EVERYONE I spoke with at UHaul were courteous, polite and tried to be helpful. However, I should not have had to (1) utilize a larger vehicle that I needed; and (2) go through the inconvenience of driving across town to turn in the vehicle. I will need to rent for 1 day another 20 foot truck in approximately 60 days to come back and load up our furniture. What I would ask from UHaul is that I receive some type of discount or price offset when I rent that second truck due to the circumstances described above.

I would say that in today's world, the movers should be wearing masks, and not shaking hands. Saying that, we weren't wearing masks, and shook their hands. Thought about it later and realized we probably should behaved differently. Great guys, and appreciate the help!

The ramp on the “motorcycle” trailer is too pitched and when I loaded my motorcycle, the bottom got hung up on the trailer bottom and destroyed my kickstand spring. One would think that a motorcycle trailer ramp would be set at a height acceptable to load all motorcycles.

There was no issues with this location, but I do have a complaint in that my reservation was changed, and I was not notified at all. When I reserve something several days in advance, my reservation should not have been changed. I do understand that you are at the mercy of customers returning equipment, but to not reach out and try to accommodate an acceptable replacement is NOT okay. What good is the reservation guarantee, when you can change the reservation to something that works for you and not the customer. I'm sure I will be thinking twice before I reserve with U-Haul ever again.

Well this is the second time now I wanted a pickup and they didn't have it ready when I got there. I had to settle for a bigger truck that didn't work for my problem. Paid for a truck to sit in my driveway for two days. I can't do that again. Waste of time an money on my part. From now on I'm going to call the day I need to pick it up and make sure it's there. I'm a little upset about this

My only criticism is having to get out of my car to access the gate to the storage unit other than that it was great.

The guy that rented me the uhaul was very helpful an friendly lots of patience but when I returned the uhaul the young lady was very rude couldnt ask her any questions an I really need to speak with a supervisor

The only problem I encountered was that there were a lot of bugs in my climate controlled unit and they got in my boxes and clothes

Although, my move out date was 8/17/2019 and I told 3 different employees, I am thoroughly satisfied with the team at Lake Ella Uhaul's professionalism, friendliness and willing to assist in any way!!

Perfect location. Great facility, clean and nice. This was my second time using this storage for my daughter's university stuff for the summer holidays. BSLR.

Honestly would have been perfect , but for some reason the staff put a u haul lock on our unit without telling us, we thought we lost the key called a lock smith just before they showed up the staff

Courteous and professional is my description of Jolonda’s team. The property is neat, clean and well kept. Truck rental process was quick and smooth. I had a problem and they took care of it. 5*****

I paid for climate controlled but it was very hot. The storage bill increased and I hoped that the extra money that was being charged would go to air conditioning but sadly I was wrong.

The Lumis trucks make it difficult to move stuff in and out.

Our initial storage the elevator broke down on moving day, so we were unable to move our items in. The staff got us to a different storage unit and took care of us.
