The lady I dealt with handled the situation considering, however there was a very long wait from the time I walked in until I left. The computer systems were freezing, one girl didn’t know what she to as doing so the lady helping me was trying to do both things. The trailer lights were working (they knew ahead of time) and simply needed a new wire assembly. Staff was friendly but the whole process was chaotic.

The company never reviewed with my how to properly pack the trailer or the speed restrictions. When we got on the road the trailer was swaying all over. I called uhaul about it and they told me They should have reviewed this with me. I drove across the country with it and felt like my life was threatened the entire 48 hours. Also, The trailer had a nail in it the tire and was flat a few hours after we got it. So when we were ready to go we were delayed 3 hours waiting for the person to change it. The person who did change it never called to tell us that he was there or that he finished. So I had to call uhaul again and see where the person was, then they told me they had already changed it. This delayed our trip much more. I was very disappointed.

Probably wouldn't recommend Uhaul at all. First location in Hamburg did not have the equipment on site when I went to pick it up. He found another location about 25 minutes away which was very inconvenient. We needed it in Hamburg, that is why we chose that pick up location. Anyway, drove to pick it up from another location. When we went outside to hook up the trailer, the trailer number was not there. Had to go back inside and wait for the representative to assign another trailer. The whole experience was far less than acceptable. Took over 3 hours to finally get a trailer that was "reserved" the day before. If I wanted the inconvenience of time and location, I wouldn't have made a reservation. Very poor tracking methods for your equipment. And in the future, offering some kind of discount will always help fix the situation for your customers and probably prevent a poor review. It was a huge inconvenience ad headache to myself, my Dad, and my Uncle who were helping me. Not sure where your priorities are, but that's just my suggestion. Sure would have helped here.

This location was able to complete my order satisfactorily. However, I am extremely disappointed with U-Haul as a company. I was given an appointment for a location that doesn't install hitches (Genesee St., Buffalo), and when I arrived at the Genesee location, I was told to go to Perry Street location. I went to Perry Street on the east side of Buffalo at 7 a.m. but saw that the Perry location didn't open until 8 a.m. I was not comfortable standing on Perry Street waiting for the location to open. I then had to leave my car and make arrangements to get work. The service that came from the call center is totally unacceptable. This certainly has given U-Haul a bad reputation from my perspective.

I had to guaranteed reservations and both of them got screwed up. The only redeeming factor this time this time was that I received the $50 credit for each of the screwed up reservations. I received one of them and waiting the other.

I returned 6 packing pads and 2 rolling dollies early. Check out person did not update the contract. (He just left a note on the Contract). Check-in person could not find note. Added 25 minutes to destination check-in. 1-800 helped work it out. Truck great, 2000 miles driven.

Our truck broke down before we even moved out of the driveway. No one from uhaul called this location to tell them the truck was broken. Completely unorganized. An absolute shame. Will absolutely never rent again and DO NOT recommend.

The only improvement I would suggest is to find a way to secure the ramps on the car dolly better as so they are not slamming around while you're driving. It can be very alarming for bystanders.

The pick-up was completed in a timely matter, and even though I wasn't here yet (from work) the person took the last item out of the second box for me. And I appreciate that.

There was some computer issues the first time I stopped by when trying to pick up the truck keys early. They still required me to wait, complete paperwork, give my credit card & drivers license, etc...I eventually said i’d Return at the original time I was picking up since it caused so many computer issues with double charging- luckily I caught the price increase because the employee didn’t & couldn’t understand why for 15 minutes & had to ask someone else. Anyways, I went back later & smoothly checked out in 15-20 minutes. I thought I had done pre check out paperwork online, so I’m confused why I had to redo it all when I arrived- it didn’t save time as I had to repeat it all over again. Staff was very polite, though!! Kudos to the female attendant who even carried the boxes out for me.

very unsatisfied with the uhaul services in Buffalo NY. Instead of them asking how many rooms you are moving which I stated a whole house 4 bdrms and they automatically give me a fifteen foot truck. I specifically stated I need a 20 foot truck was overcharged for the truck and storage. Poor customer service never again I will use Penske

Everything was excellent. Tom the manager was super friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back for any future rental or hitches. Thank you ;) Elaine a manager at another location was super helpful in getting my wiring issue corrected by referring me to Tom.

I was sent to 3 different U-Haul locations just to be given the wrong information and made late from my departure time by a little over 2 hours. This cost me gas, time, and money. Not only that the tire blew out on the auto trailer risking my cargo, and safety as well as the cars around me. Then to top it off there was a large gashing rim mark left on my private road from the blown tire, which cost may be passed on to me. My family does a lot of business with U-Haul through our shipping company and for personal use. This was the first time everything has been a disaster as they’ve been better before, hopefully just an anomaly.

Make sure someone is at the desk. Twice I had to wait over 5 minutes, calling out for someone to assist me with a rental. The regular desk guy was nowhere to be found. The guy who handles getting to vehicles ready for rental and returns ended up helping me and was super nice and professional.

I pulled in the drop off lot and was immediately greeted by an attendant. He gave me directions for parking and helped do the final inspection and unhook the trailer. Total time unloading was less than 5 minutes. Absolutely perfect.

Was lied too and didn't go over the van with me was told i had to pay 10 for one thing and 20 for another I had to play $56 and for a van I had a 17 inch truck that was due on that I did online and only paid $43 for the same distance makes no sense to me I would not recommend this place or come back to this the men were very rude and then go over anyting.. I wanted to pay cash and they took it out of the credit card they didn't tell me I needed a credit card to for a deposit I used a credit card but they said that they needed to use it I use the credit card before but was able to pay for it with cash when I returned it and they said I was not allowed to
