I was able to rent my unit online and never had to go into the office. When I arrived at my unit there was a free lock waiting for me. At other storage places locks are at least $15 so that was extra nice. The whole facility was exceptionally clean and easy to access. There was a water leakage on one of my units which was 1529 and it damaged a lot of my things and I also came home from a load and everything and noticed that I was missing things we were in Russia it was only two of us moving everything into the U-Haul truck we didn't notice until we got home that there was things messing and most of the water damage did ruined my couches my washer my dryer my treadmill all got ruined so I would like for somebody to call me from the U-Haul place so I can know what to do about this because I like the U-Haul storage place they kept up with me they helped me out they guided me but for my stuff to get ruined that belongs to the five of my kids it's not accurate so I would like someone to call me at 716-617-9192 my name is Alma Gonzalezalma g. | Overall Experience

Picking up the truck was very easy and the person there was very helpful. However I called and let them know I needed to bring the truck back a little later than the contract. He told me they closed before I would be back but as long as I had it back that night he wouldn't charge me a contract extension. I did as he said at the agreed time and now I have a double charge on my bank account for an extra day that I didn't even have the truck for. When I called to ask about it I was told to call corporate and when I did the girl gave me an attitude, didn't want to listen and tried to argue me down. If I have to move again I would NOT use Uhaul after this.Angel J.

Had to turn the truck in several times, through the web site. Kept restarting and not remembering what was already entered. You need a tech guy to figure that out. Had to fight with the counter rep initially for the free first month because he tried saying it wasn't valid because they were at 90 percent occupancy, which was no where in the terms. Then gave us a unit that literally was the opposite side of the building about a quarter mile walk from the loading dock. It took several hours to unload a truck and walk everything all the way over. Isaiah was truly helpful, and kind from our phone conversation up until move in day! He answered all of my questions and made sure I understood how things work. One improvement note would be to make sure your toilet paper is stocked regularly, seeing that you have a high volume of customers. It was mentioned paper towels were being flushed, and I believe it is because toilet paper was missing from the bathroom I used. Upgrading to larger commercial use toilet paper spools may be helpful! Hi, I was charged for a whole extra day - $40.00 for out of town because I handed in the keys of the truck 2 hours late. However, I was already in town with the truck. Even though the truck was already on the property from the day the before. It took me longer than expected to unload the truck. I had had 3 surgeries on my dominant hand and surgeries on both shoulders. It was just very hard for me. I just could not unload it faster. When the truck was due to be turned in at 3:00pm, I went in the office and begged for more time. The young lady gave me until 4:00pm, but I just could not completed it by 4pm. When I finally returned it at 5:00pm, she said that I inconvenienced another customer from renting the truck because I turned it in late. I don't necessarily believe that. The next nightmare was the storage room facility. Both Saturday and Sunday - The place was STINK!! Not my actual unit. But, when you enter the building there was a horrible stench from a toilet that needed fixing. I can understand for the first day because things happen, but I cannot understand why it was not fixed the following day. The next issue is with my actual unit. There is a 2 feet by 2 feet post from the building that takes up part of my 10 feet by 10 feet floor space. This is unfair!! I am not getting what I am paying for.
