The experience was horrible. I am disabled and have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. I selected to pick up the van during business hours in case there was an issue. the temperature was 0 with windchill in negative 20's in Buffalo. I got into the van but had issues checking in to get the key to start the van. I began hurting terribly to the point I could not move my feet or legs to get out of the truck. We called customer service two times and advised them I was in severe pain and needed assistance getting the key because there was no heat. I also corresponded with 2 customer service agents via text advising them to please send someone from the store to help ASAP. It was a medical emergency. No help came. Then we finally got in touch with the office inside the building but the phones were forwarded to a different location. We advised of the emergency and she said she would call the store and send someone out. By this time I was screaming in pain and about to call 911. Then finally my wife went inside to get emergency help plus assistance finding the Key but no one was in there. It took her 20 minutes to walk around a warehouse to find someone who had left a phone number on his computer to call for help but the phone number didn't work. Once she found him he advised her for me to walk inside. I could not walk at this point and needed medical attention. After about 45 minutes he finally came outside and got the key. He never acknowledged my situation or offer assistance. Much less medical help like calling 911. Once car was running my wife immediately took me to my Pain specialist which required a series of trigger point injections and an increase of all medications and additional testing due to the episode that was triggered by poor customer service. We were unable to do the things that were needed to be done with the van and had to keep it extra days until I was well enough to drive and we had to put unnecessary miles on the van to go to the dr and other medical places to get my episode under control. We called UHAUL again to try and work something out and they cares about was the money and getting the van back.NEVER AGAIN WILL WE USE THEM.

When i arrived there were no employees to be be found. I was yelling for assistance, nobody came. I called the store, but the unattended phone infront of me just rang. This was not close to opening so this wasnt a case of an employee being a couple minutes late. It probably took about 15 minutes for someone to finally come through the back door. He said hold on let me clock in. His name was allen reiley. He had dark sunglasses on the whole transaction, on a ery gloomy rainy day, which i found odd. Another employee did follow who seemed to be a bit more on task, didnt catch hia name. The rather new van had very stained seats, and lots of scratches and dings. Nobody went over the pre-existing damage with me so i was worried but luckilly it didnt turn out to be an issue.

Great job by Uhaul. I rent trucks 5-10 times per year. I was arriving after hours and Uhaul made it work. I drove from Buffalo to Albany and realized that I locked my phone (which I had sitting in a cupholder for GPS ) after I dropped the keys into the drop box. When I got home, I contacted the 800# and my phone was waiting for me the next morning when they opened. Hreat job by Uhaul !

Truck was 2 hours late. Different size than I ordered. Was supposed to have for 24 hours and was asked to have it back ny noon even though it was over 2 hours late. Awful experience.

Everything was fine. This location is in a crappy neighborhood. After I got the keys and the employee went inside, a woman waking by tried to get me to give her a ride ( uh, no...). It was sketchy and her agenda seemed Related to drugs /money. Anyway I won't go out of my way to return to this location. Everything U-Haul related was perfectly fine.

Nothing specific really, tho we could have used the next larger truck - but none was available at the Larkinville location on that day. It was a MUCH better experience than the past 2 rentals (1 with a diff Uhaul dealer, & 1 with Penske via Hm Depot). The office manager (Mr McMullen) was particularly pleasant & helpful.

this was not the location I had selected to pick up my vehicle at so it added miles to my total. Also put extra gas in the truck because there is no indicator on how many gallons the truck holds or on the average MPG. Then was told unable to be reimbursed for the gas...thanks Uhaul charge me extra for miles and not reimburse for almost a half tank of gas...I wont be a customer again.

Improve site's ability to find drop off location customer desires. Tom could not locate the large facility near our home in Middletown on Rte US211. I had to call U-Haul on arrival, who found the location, called them and got approval to drop off where I originally desired. Extra phone call, long wait, U-Haul's call to Middletown, and then a call back to me.
