Pressure wash the trailers free of iced over marker lights, turn signals, and ratchets so they are operational. I had to find a car wash just so I could safely operate the trailer, let alone use the wheel restraints.JAMES JEFFREY B.

Your call service was very accommodating and I was very greatful that you were able to extend my time with the equipment too. The description that I was given about the trailer was in accurate. I was told this was a 6X12 foot trailer. The opening where the gate WAS NOT 6 foot! With this being said I was disappointed. Not much - employees were helpful - hitched up, and then disconnected trailer when I returned and location was very clean. I would get equipment from this U-haul again.BRIANJ G.
The older man was very rude, ill-tempered and in such a hurry I'm sure that's why extensive damage occurred to our furniture and our new dwelling. The younger man was helpful and courteous and seemed to care about the way he performed his job. I have several pictures of the damage that was done to our furniture and the walls. We purchased the moving insurance but after reading the process to file a claim, it is over whelming and cumbersome for a layman to do so. We are still questioning the billing as it does not reflect the original quote we received from U-Haul at the time we placed the order. We will not under any circumstance recommend U-Haul's moving service to anyone in the future. It was a complete disappointment and a very costly one as well.ROBIN H.

As someone that works retail, I understand the necessity of upselling, but as a consumer who was renting a specifically sized truck, having space taken up by a dolly I didn't request bolted to the side of the bed of the truck was unfortunate. I ended up having to spend time on the phone finding out if I could remove it and not be charged as our last item wouldn't fit in the truck otherwise. I was told yes, I could remove it, but was still charged upon returning the truck (and ultimately refunded for it with ease) but it was an unnecessary hassle that made a very stressful day just a little bit more stressful. Lastly, had I not questioned that, and turned around to ask one of your associates, I would not have gotten that refund, so I feel as though I was lied to on the phone about them making a note about it.Joshua K.

I used the u-box service to move my belongings from NY to CA. The process went smoothly until the box arrived in San Francisco. I unloaded my stuff and U-haul picked up the empty box in mid-August. Since then, U-haul has incorrectly charged me $105 a month for "storage" at their site, and resolving this issue with customer service has been impossible. The guy at the U-haul office is useless, unhelpful, and literally told me he can't do anything about it. Stuck with no idea how to get Uhaul to stop charging me and refund the the $210 they've erroneously charged me. Will never use again and would NEVER recommend to a friend.Olivia W.

I hired a moving company off moving help. I should have kept a better eye on them. My container case half loaded with over 5 dozen furniture pads and broken furniture. Most of the space they Jammed the pads in could have been filled with other furniture, stuff I ended up having to rent a second trailer for because I thought it didn't fit. Turns out it would have. Additionally. I have moved dozens of times, never lost a single item in transit.. half my load is broken or damaged from the individuals who loaded it.JAMESON R.

I was very satisfied with the service as far as drop off, pick-up, delivery, etc. The U-boxes had some damages though. One back wall had a hole in it, and the floor was coming away from the walls. One had an oil spot on the paper on the floor that we were a little worried about. We didn't want oil on our mattresses, so we covered it with cardboard.joseph O.

Please hire more CDL drivers for this Buffalo location. The woman who does it now it awesome! I love love loved her. If anyone should rise through the ranks of this company it is her. She has that professional can do attitude. Nothing can get in her way. We need more leaders like her. In the meantime since she was the only driver for my location I couldn't get my boxes picked up over the weekend. She came at 10am on Monday my window was between 12-4. She showed up in the rain, dumped the rain off and out of the UBoxes, used the forklift, and drove the boxes off all HERSEF. Any employee that takes initiative like that when an emergency arises needs a raise! Do not forget to pay women what we are worth not simply what we ask for. In the workplace environment we don't normally ask and employers use that to their advantage even if it means â€œloosing a good oneâ€. I couldn't keep my Uboxes in the private parking lot after my complex told me upon move in I could. I'm not sure what they told that woman, but she was there on the double. I respect that. Now the customer service people on the phone when it came to booking the UBoxes need better training. They were not knowledgeable about the pricing or the way this whole thing seems to work. I could tell I used to work in customer service. I called a few times and go vastly different prices and the customer service representatives who were not knowledgeable seemed to not be able to fight the knee jerk reaction of being rude when I asked hard hitting questions. The last customer service rep I spoke to was a fine example of that. Just very rude, seemed to not care, and simply told me my pick up was from 12-4 and that's all she could tell me. Thank goodness for workers like the one who picked up and dropped my boxes because if left up to the last customer service rep on the phone my boxes would have been picked up at 4 and she really wood not have cared.
