The manager Anna Ortiz at the LBJ Garland location is horrible. Their team is incompetent to follow directions and requests. I requested a military move with weight tickets and now they are telling me “sorry we don’t have weight tickets nothing we can do”. They apparently see no notes in the system of such request, but when I call customer service they see the notes of requested weight tickets. It is their fault I have no weight tickets and they just want to wash their hands and not want to hold up their responsibility and their failure.

By looking at the map, I thought the storage unit was accessible from outside. Not being familiar with your storage before, I did not realize they were all inside. But Krystal was awesome and ran over immediately and helped us find our unit. Very impressed with her.

Finally got it resolved a couple of days ago through somebody that’s not even at the store because nobody could ever get in contact with anybody at the store I had my storage at. staff definitely need to be trained more in the customer service department.
Lucilla C | Overall ExperienceWhen I get to the facility, I go my unit unaware of the proper steps, needed to be taken prior to opening storage unit. Therefore I set off the alarm. And well no one came.. so the alarm isn’t much use then now is it? Once I had my unit located I go back to truck to unload…have a courtesy cart loaded up and turn to head back up only not to have access… because it was 10:01pm so I had to put my things back in ruck and extend my truck rental another day. I go back the following day and finally put items in unit only to discover the lock that was supposed to be in unit was no where to be found. Still don’t have a lock and will be going to get one soon.

They also gave me a different price for the storage unit than what was quoted to me over the phone by customer service, and lastly my first month for the unit is supposed to be free which I opened my unit on May 27th, 2024 but it says my payment is due June 26th, 2024 which isn't a full month.

UhAul has really been fumbling the ball I was going to switch my storage to the one on N Central Express but witnessed a staff member being very rude to and towards a lady. Miranda was her name I believe just as well as Jose the boss very rude they deliberately wouldn’t let this lady in her Unit that was paid in full. So I decided to dissolve my relationship with UhAul all together
