BARBARA CCustomer service personnel have always been friendly and helpful, and explain everything on the rental contract. Once in awhile the computer system is down or they’re using a backup system, which causes long waits in line, and they handle it the best they can. The equipment and supplies I’ve rented/bought have been fine. This is my 2nd time in 2 years renting a cargo van.

LINDA WMs. Herlesha Russell fixed my storage and truck rental for me and I thank her, the General manager: After the guy on Sunday didn't help me get moved in, and I couldn't get my storage because he told me to move 1st, then come back to the store, then get storage, which cost me extra time and money: I arrived at 1:30 pm and he knew store closed on Sunday at 5:30, I didn't and I'm a senior citizen. If I see this guy who didn't give me his name again, I will turn and walk away.

We arrived after hours (a few minutes after) and an employee came out to help us navigate the truck and locate where the keys were. This wasn't our initial pick up location however I would recommend picking up here vs the original location we had at first. Taking photos of the truck was hard but managed at the end of the day. (no service from AT&T phone during the upload process in app)

FELICIA CWhen we were outside and about to hook up the trailer i had reserved., The trailer had a flat tire. I was not offered the $50 as i am supposed to as they did not have the trailer that I had booked due to the flat tire. Instead I had to pay an additional $5 and get a bigger trailer which was not ideal as i picked the smaller due to limited space at my worksite. Make sure the equipment is ready to go and also honor the $50 policy that you have.

Harry J | Overall ExperienceHerkesha was very nice and professional. However, two major issues. The smell of the truck was horrendous. It wasn't the smell of smoke. It was the smell of the overuse of some kind of cheap, chemical laden disinfectant. Just overwhelming and gross. Second - the charge on the gas. I drove for approximately 18 miles, put in 2+ gallons of gas and saw the line go back to where it started. Still, I was charged for two extra gallons. Not worth complaining about because I'm already home when the charge hits. Not going to rent again if this is how you all do business. I put the gas back in, and somebody decided it wasn't enough. Neither the meter on the truck nor the markings are that precise. Somebody decided to jack me out of $9.00. Just wrong.

ROBERT HAdmittedly I was late to put up the truck reserved. The clerk told me there were no other trucks available. I called and the agent I spoke with changed my pick up time and magically there was a truck available at the same location I was just turned away from. I was given 20 miles to drive somewhere it took 20 miles to drive to which ment I was going to be charged for the entire drive back to the drop off location plus gas. Staff was rude. One clerk made sure to let everyone know she had a nasty attitude and was not in the mood. Her words not mine. I would take 50 trips in my own vehicle before I ever step foot in there again.

FRANKLIN B | Overall ExperienceThe manager was great. My grievance is that the size I reserved wasn't there. I was taken to what looked to be the size of a closet. I had reserved a 3.5' x 7.5' x 7. What I was told was mine was significantly smaller. I had no choice to take the next size up. I just moved cross country and money is tight at the moment. Not happy that now I'm paying 200 a month for this(and frankly it's not worth it). I've already found a facility significantly cheaper and with the same features. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
william s | First ImpressionsThe office was severely understaffed. Wait times were loooooooong for me and the line behind me. Though helpful, the agent who checked me on was very unprofessional. One irritation was her struggling to open up a bag of candy to munch on while talking to me and simultaneously talking to the staff next to her about how badly the day was going. Her demeanor was very indifferent, and did not communicate while I stood there waiting for her figure stuff out. It took forever to get my reservation straightened out, even though it was made well in advance. Not her fault that it had been a long day for me, getting a truck early in the morning, wanting to unload and go home. She never made it clear that I indeed would have a storage unit until the very end, which was a good 30 minutes. Poor professionalism, poor communication skills, and the place had a really third rate vibe.

ANTOINETTE S | Overall ExperienceI was lucky enough to get a unit on the first floor. I don’t know if there’s an elevator on the lower floors but I hope so. I appreciate the ease of access and the temperature control. Gated units are more exposed to other people’s things which isn’t great but that’s not unique to this storage. The chain around the door was always extremely difficult to put a lock on. Still, I appreciated that it was well lit, the staff were always pleasant and helpful. One other thing - it seems like there’s always a long term vehicle right outside the doors, that is potentially blocking the loading zone. Sometimes two cars. I appreciate that the rental came with a lock in and of itself, and having that rolling flatbed cart on site was a HUGE help. I would recommend this place to others overall, unless they have physical accessibility issues. And if needed, I would use it again. Any critical feedback given wasn’t so bad as to deter me from using it in the future.

What a joke! This place needs to be torn down and replaced. I will definitely NOT use uhaul storage again based on this experience. Josh did his best to help us, but as he said several times - "He doesn't work here".

I had an original issue when I first got here when there was no staff there and they all bailed and didn’t tell any of the customers what they were doing and they just left and they were extremely rude and I told the manager about this and she calmedsomething of mine and it was nice for you to do that but you know they never fix the security issue with the lights the employees are still lazy do not care about them the customers and the last time my last day there I still had an issue where I was trying to check out of my storage unit and there were three employees sitting outside doing nothing and they were customer sitting inside weeding doing nothing but waiting for somebody that’s going to come that’s not going to come because they’re sitting outside talking to other employees I would never recommend this place I almost wanna never use Uhaul again it was the absolute worst place I could ever go everything I did but into that place had a fit through the size of a door otherwise it was a nightmare to try and get this other side door open and I just absolutely hate this place.

I was informed (by the move help) that Uhaul staff told him not to offload (unload) the Uhaul truck. The truck was just sitting at Uhaul yard. Uhaul keeps on charging me everyday for the truck I did not use even though it was returned (parked) at the Uhaul approved return location. Not only that, without communicating with me, Uhaul went ahead to close the storage I fully registered and paid for. I see this as a sabotage. I contacted Uhaul supervisor few times for help, she did not offer to help. All I was hearing from her was I cannot help. Even though this was a fully paid for service, I felt I got very poor value out of it. I felt helpless.
Oluwagbenga O | Online Move InAdd storage facility when you were in the dark damp and deep recesses of the building The light can go out and there are no motion detectors inside of the storage units inside of the hallways leading all the way back to the entrance, I tripped on my stuff in the pitch black and then try to tell one of the people that work there who stared at me through a glass window and laughed at me after that as I was trying to move my stuff a very rude employee want to head and locked a door as I was trying to go through it and walked away saying she had a closet as I said it would’ve been nice to know before hand and she just mumbled something I probably didn’t want to hear. This is Sari is extremely extremely extremely dirty with trash all over the place mattresses slices of cheese broken plastic and sand lake debris from the asphalt thats deteriorating.

I could NEVER get a human on the phone to answer questions. The day I moved out, I was speaking to a lady about renting a Smaller unit. She fell asleep three times while I was standing in front of her. I asked her three different times I needed a SMALLER unit, she researched a LARGER unit. Complete waste of time. I would rent from Uhaul again in the future.

I needed to exchange the unit which was on the second floor. I wasn't informed of the facility set prior to purchase or else I would have went else where. The larger unit was on the other side of the facility. We had unloaded the truck and turned it in and it was raining. I ended up having to pack y car with what I could and throw the rest away. The gentleman told me to close the door because it was closing time and we would not have any access. I said the young lady at the counter said I could. He went to verify and said you only can stay until 10p after which the alarm would sound and the police would arrive. I was frustrated and disappointed to say the least after driving 1025 miles to Cleveland. This was the location the Uhual company in Florida recommended. It should be said prior to purchase what the storage space set up is. Everyone is not familiar. I have never had to do this before. The rates at this location are almost double those in other areas. I was very upset and I am looking for other options to be out of ther before next month.
