More thorough information about the previous state of the vehicles before renting out. I know it is not something UHAUL does, but I think a business practice of filling up the tanks when they are near low or not charging customers for gas for would be a great improvement. Also checking for issues such as the: "check engine " light which was on in my vehicle the whole time I was using it and made my experience of it more stressful then it needed to be.

When vehicles are returned during business hours, the check-in process should make sure the customer confirms the rental cost before leaving. The clerk didn't confirm my rental expense and I was charged an extra day by mistake forcing me to contact customer service for a refund.

What is the point of online check-in if you have to go into the rental office to retrieve the key, anyway? I was also one of the first reservations, so I would have expected the van to be ready for pick up in an accessible location. Moving is annoying and a hassle. Please focus on making the truck rental process a bit more seamless.

I did not know I would be charged an extra $20 for return after closing. Since I picked the van up at 3:30 it was inevitable that it would not be back by 5. Had I known-which I didn't- I would have made an extra effort to bring it back by 5.

Cleveland heights is not a great location. Too much traffic and not close to any freeways. However the pick up and drop off procedure was easy and truck was clean and just what we needed.

We went to return the truck one hour before the time and we couldn't get in the parking lot because the snow... two feet high of it.... it wasn't plowed. We returned home with the truck to go back the next morning; that means that we paid 29 more miles; I explained this to the person I returned the truck to and he said they couldn't do anything about it. Uhaul needs to take care f plowing the snow on the days they are close n been able to rectify charges that are not customer's fault

Using the Van was fine, however, we had a terrible snow storm that night and I got stuck trying to return the Van the next day. When I finally arrived at the location there was more than 12" of snow in the parking lot and I could not enter. Understandably it was a holiday. So most people were off...which also meant there was no snowplow available. However the issue of getting stuck again because I could not get into the lot was too much to bear. I called the location number, which led me to customer service. They suggested I contact scheduling which continued to go to voicemail as well. I tried to go home. I reside 1.5 miles from the location but it took me 2 hours to get home because the tread on the tires were very poor. I ended up adding an additional 13 miles to the vehicle in an attempt to find the best route home with the most clear roads. However, driving home was totally going up Hill. The tires were like onions. It is very important that while as a customer I am renting the vehicle, the vehicle should be up to par with all service repairs and updates. There was no number 4 rows at assistance on the one sheet that they gave me at the counter. So I was at a loss. I did manage to return the vehicle good next day but is still took me an hour to get to the location because I got stuck twice again. I was not charged for the extra day, but still charged for the mileage. In sharing this experience, I guess I am suggesting regular repairs or updates to the vehicles to assure they are good to be on the road in any weather condition.

well i had a terrible experience the card wasnt going thur even when i put more money on the pre paid card . the worker was newer and may not known all the in s and out s so they couldnt use that card . Bring the tellers up to speed on how the cards work and where they can inprove service.

The only reason I wouldn't of gave the experience a higher rating is because I was charged for furniture pads which I did not request in which I did not receive I think the itemization of equipment used need to be a little bit more thorough and as long as that charge is taken care of I would not have a problem giving a higher rating

I have used this location on 2 occasions within the last 6 months. Each experience was been wonderful. The vehicles are clean. The staff are friendly & efficient. I will use again without hesitation and recommend!

I reserved my U-Haul reservation online and upon arrival I found that they were overbooked and had no other vehicles available other than a 10 foot trailer. They told us if we didn't have a reservation they could not help us and also they were only Credit transactions only because their cash register was broken. When we returned our rental we learned that we were overcharged for the 10 foot trailer we were actually charge the amount for our original reservation. When we disputed the price we were rudely shoved off and we had to wait an additional hour for them to figure out why we were overcharged.

Please have adequate staff available to check returning trucks in after a day of moving. We waited in the middle of the street for at least 20 minutes or more just to return the truck.

We got overcharged for gas. The truck moved at about 35 mph max. A lot of hidden charges. Very disappointed. We usually have a much better experience, as we've used Uhaul and this location several times.

They also didn't walk through the truck with me after I dropped it off. I left more gas than what I got it with and you guys over charged me. You gave me the run around with pick up locations and then you over charge me after the women on the phone ensured me since you inconvenienced me with changing my pickup location and she gave me extra mileage usage for the day because it was further than what it should have been for me to pick it up. I will NEVER use uhaul again after this experience

I was charged the $14 coverage fee even though I specially stated in my reservation, and again upon picking up the truck that I did NOT want to pay for coverage. When I realized I was charged, it was too late according to the attendant and I had to pay the fee. I would like the $14 reimbursed as I did not want to pay for it

Workers was not clear on how to properly check into unit. Also, I feel as though they one of the workers at the location (nahrie or jahrie) did not take her job serious. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked her to change my access code and she told me they couldn’t do it in store and that I had to call customer service but I told her customer service said that’s something that had to do in store. After I told her that she still insisted I call customer service and kept stating they can’t change it in store. I called customer service again and they told her the same thing. Then all of sudden she changed it in store when she seen I was actually on the phone with customer service. I was there for a extra hour for this inconvenience.

Customer service is great. Staff are friendly; however, I returned the uhaul in the same condition I received it, with the exception of the increase in mileage of course, and still I didn't receive a receipt until days later. I make it my business to get receipts just in case fees are added later on. In this particular case fees were added on after the amount I was told would be subtracted from my account was already withdrawn. Then, I was charged for an appliance dolly when there was a utility dolly on the truck. Staff was notified the day it was dropped off and then again a couple days later. I'm still waiting on the money to return to my account. May have to call again which is annoying as I am sure I will be on the phone waiting to speak to someone for longer than 10 minutes.

using the smart phone pickup process, it was difficult to find which of the trucks was "mine" and the first 3 it suggested were "parked in" behind others. So I had to first find the truck, then say it was inaccessible, then find another truck.... until it proposed one on the front row. It would be nice if the software knew which trucks were in the front row.

My 9 ft cargo van worked beautifully and got the job done. It was ready on time for a speedy pickup and was easy to return. The Mayfield Road location is great for anyone in the Heights, right on the route to my destination.

They did not have the actual trailer I rented and was given one that simply did not work for my purpose. Then I returned the trailer before the 24 hour rental time during business hours, was told by the attendant that i was "Good to Go!" and then 4 days later at a gas station, my credit card got declined because of an additional $100 charge. Apparently the employee never checked in my trailer and I was billed 4 late days. It took me 2 hours on the phone to get the charge reversed, AND I was stuck at a gas station for 3 hours because your company took my money. I will never use UHAUL again.

I was not knowledgable about the sizes of the unit so the unit I was assigned was to small. I shared what I had so the could recommend a size. I needed to exchange the unit which was on the second floor. I wasn't informed of the facility set prior to purchase or else I would have went else where. The larger unit was on the other side of the facility. We had unloaded the truck and turned it in and it was raining. I ended up having to pack y car with what I could and throw the rest away. The gentleman told me to close the door because it was closing time and we would not have any access. I said the young lady at the counter said I could. He went to verify and said you only can stay until 10p after which the alarm would sound and the police would arrive. I was frustrated and disappointed to say the least after driving 1025 miles to Cleveland. This was the location the Uhual company in Florida recommended. It should be said prior to purchase what the storage space set up is. Everyone is not familiar. I have never had to do this before. The rates at this location are almost double those in other areas. I was very upset and I am looking for other options to be out of ther before next month.
