Grace BThe General Manager and the Assistant General Manager of the Melrose location in Roanoke, VA were not helpful. Were rude, communication was poor. When they did assist they just walked off. Left me standing. I had to ask was the problem solved they both turned around and said “oh yeah”. I might add that when we were leaving out the building no manners they let the door swing in my face, neither held the door for me. If your going to have a general manager I strongly suggest to put them both in classes or get rid of them because the store is going down hill
KERA MOverall the truck was good and easy to drive. But at the time of reservation i was supposed to pickup my truck from Christiansburg which was close to my place. But in the last moment the pickup location was changed which cost me additional money in terms of additional fuel cost and rent car to new pickup location.. likewise my drop of location was changed in the last moment which also caused me additional money.
ZAIN UThe truck was heavily damaged. It was functional but dent scratches everywhere. I could not take any pictures due to the app not working. And when I raised my concerns to the employee they said “ya that happens that why we hate the app” they will document the damage and never left the building.
Michael CMy reservation was at 8am, my daughter and myself arrived about 15 minutes early. The hours started that that location opened at 7am but there were no lights on, everything looked locked up, no open sign or anything. We tried to change to like a mobile pickup and the app asked for a bar code to be scanned to make sure of the location that we could not find anywhere. By this time we had be outside walking around for over 30 minutes trying to get a truck. Finally my daughter said she was going to call and see if it would go to a customer support line if no one answered or something. She called and the guy inside answered. Low and behold! So he was in there the whole time with no lights on, no open sign and either just watching us walk around outside trying to get a truck of which I had a reservation for OR he was asleep the whole time! We think he was asleep with everything turned off hoping no one would come in cause he seemed like it when we did go in. At the least if he wasn't sleeping he could have came to the door and asked us if we needed help or had the lights and all on since it was during business hours. When we took the truck back though everything was totally lit up inside and out. Very poor customer service!

JOSHUA CGreat service and empathy. I rented a moving truck and suffered a heart attack during moving. U haul wished me well and to get better. My family had to finish the move for me while I'm in the hospital. Great people, great understanding.
ANTHONY LMy vehicle broke down in Virginia so I rented the truck and trailer to haul it back to my home in wv. I used my debit card and was told I would be charged $ 348.00 ,when I got back to wv and turned the equipment in i checked my debit card app on my phone and noticed i was charged $444.30 at 4426 Melrose Ave nwus Roanoke Virginia and $100.00 in clay west Virginia, i want the money put back on my card or i will take legal action.

BOBBI JI reserved a 6x12 cargo trailer and 12 furniture blankets out of Salem va. Had reserved a week in advance and the day I picked it up they had let all blankets go. Spent 2 hours riding around to find blankets. I returned trailer to McDonough ga. When I get there we find out that Salem Va gave me the wrong trailer according to paperwork.
GARY LVery convenient and most affordable for doing some big item moves locally. I will be back in the future for a larger vehicle when I need to move an entire house.

DAWN FThe truck had issues with gear changing going up and down hills. It was very jerky and I kept having to manually downshift and upshift. Also the truck had not been cleaned there was trash and a contract from the previous renters.
BARBARA NI was charged for two gallons of gas when I left more than the gauge showed when I picked up. Attendant would not take my word for it Customer is Always right!
