Most of the staff I interacted with at this location were professional and helpful. No complaints there. However, the trailer itself was old, beat-up, and not very clean. If I was not baracaded in the customer parking lot due to over pile up of cars and what I assume laziness/negligence of the overall grounds maintence and upkeep, I would have been fine and on my way. But because I had to spend nearly an hour moving trailer after trailer, by hand, after the night of making furniture, which added nearly 2 hours to my already exhausting night, JUST SO I COULD TAKE MY CAR HOME, I would just be careful where you leave your own car. Clearly the grounds is not carer for and good luck getting a response from anyone that would be able to help, even if they wanted to, within a hour. Was told there would be a 57 minute hold time until I spoke with a rep. The facility and the one employee ( young man) were nice. The young man was nice but did not go out of his way to help. The uhaul app was very frustrating. I asked the young man if he could do the paper work on line and he said no it would take much longer. There was another girl there but she appeared to be on a tele call with someone and never helped us. Mostly ignored us. Everything was very clean but the customer service and process were less than ideal for that reason we will use uhaul as a last resort when renting a truck.Eric N.

The mobile check in was an absolute mess. Could not find the truck and it needed too many phone numbers. The staff were completely unhelpful. Took 45 minutes to get a truck which cut into our moving time and schedule. Then I tried to call to extend the time as the website was not letting my extend. It told me my wait time was 63 minutes so I asked for a call back. When I got a call back I was working through the keypad options and the call dropped. Also the gas policy is extremely confusing and misleading. Overall this was a terrible experience and I would not recommend to anyone.Michael M.
This location is unbelievably bad. Like, corporate needs to intervene. The last time I dealt with them, some crack head who works there who had recently been in a fight and had his face rightfully bashed in IMMEDIATELY started making idiotic demands and arguing with me and commenting about his pay, literally right when I exited the vehicle. All I wanted to do was drop off the vehicle trailer but he REFUSED to operate the ratchet straps that were so rusted they couldn't be used. Something about liability? JUST REMOVE THE RATCHET STRAPS. He unironically charged me $15 to operate the trailer's built in ratcheting system. Incredible. Don't even get me started on the second time. It's truly incredible how literally every step of the way is some asinine obstacle that makes zero sense. I can't even begin to describe just how bad it is at this location. Beware.Theodore R.

When I returned my truck I was approached by two U-Haul employees by the name of Zackariah R. and Samuel Bl. I informed them that I was doing a mobile check-in as I do every time I rent a U-Haul truck. The employee threatened to reverse my rental and told me to cancel it and thay I could not do it Via mobile will check in. I told him I prefer to continue to finish it anyway. And I did so. I had not yet completed the mobile check-in or finished gathering my things from the back of the truck when One of the employees came and grabbed my equipment. He grabbed a stack of my blankets that I purchased at U-Haul, and told me that they belong to U-Haul because they say U-Haul's name on them. I told him that they are my blankets and took them back from him and he threatened that I would never be able to rent again. In addition when I began taking photos of the vehicle and odometer for this exact reason, the other employee threatened to add a cleaning and fuel charge onto my rental. Upon looking at the receipt, I was charged $30 for 4 gallons of gas and $30 for a fuel charge. Attached I have provided photos of the truck upon my return which show the mileage and odometer and fuel level at one quarter not at the level for which I was charged. In addition my truck was dispatched at a fuel level lower than 1/4 tank and I should have been credited as I brought it back at a quarter tank for this reason. Not only am I requesting a full refund for this additional charge, I'd like to file a formal complaint, and request a full refund for this rental. I rent U-Hauls multiple times every single week. Not only do I feel disrespected and lied to. I also do not feel valued whatsoever as a customer who spends hundreds of dollars every week via your company. There are many other truck rental services that I could use and I choose U-Haul for their large presents and customer service. This is not an example of good customer service or service in general. Samantha the manager appeared to be training a new employee "helping" me and was rude when I questioned why I had to use my phone, my data, and camera to take the photo id of my license. She commented how they don't have cameras and everyone has to have smart phones now a days. After I proceeded to tell her that the only thing required from me is an ID and money to rent, she then was rude and continued to argue how smart phones are required to rent. It appearently is a huge issue to ask for my rental in paper writing too.. Your after-hours check in service is a joke for an app,and no one answered after an hour on hold with the 1 800 U-Haul number. The trucks had boogers on the the inside of the windows and on the steering wheel, and when I asked the girl who pulled my rental out to me, she said that's "normal". When you book the car it should be clear that you need to bring another form of verification. I could have easily brought my passport but trying to get a friend/family member to answer a call from a unknown # in the middle of the work day cost me 20-40 minutes of move time which I was paying for. It's not the location that's the issue it's the online process that's the problem it's not user friendly! You are told to make an account and then during the check in the gentleman says to go through as if you don't have an account. After 30+ minutes finally got it. Then you have to go find the truck wait for references to be contacted then follow more steps and then walk all the back to the lock boxes to get keys. COVID killed positive customer experiences. Check-in was quick. Trailer I ordered was not available and we received a larger trailer without being told. This being said, while I do think we should have been notified prior to getting the trailer, we were appreciative for the extra space. The owner with long hair was a robot and had no appreciate for customer service experiences. In and out. I believed I reserved a hitch with my trailer and it appeared I had not. The owner could have gave to shits about the fact we had just rented a trailer and couldn't pull it. When I said I thought I had reserved the hitch to buy, he proceeded to say they hadn't had a hitch in 3 weeks so I was wrong. Overall the experience at this place was pretty bad, and I don't recommend using this facility or U-Haul storage until they get their promotions, pricing, and offers straightened out. Beside my specific issues detailed below,, there is only ONE elevator for the whole facility and ONE loading dock. So if you show up and those things are in use, your pretty much screwed when it comes to moving and storing large or heavy items. The manager is a nice guy and ended up helping me with the issues, but this location and U-Haul corporate need to work on their communication and offers. I was offered a free month of storage from U-Haul, only to arrive with a full moving truck and be told that the offer wouldn't be honored at this location, despite nothing online, in email, or on phone ever telling me that would be the case. I was also charged for the lock that was supposed to be free as a promo offer. The manager informed me that they didn't offer any of these promotions and I would have to pay. Online also guaranteed an indoor, climate controlled, secure unit. What I got was a chain link fence exposed to all the other units around it, not very secure at all. The manager told me they couldn't resolve any of my issues immediately, and needed to get more info. It took a full month before I was contacted and the issues were resolved. The manager was helpful in the end, I just wish he could've resolved the problems more immediately. On the same day I arrived other people were arriving with the exact same misinformation about a free month of having a unit. My Experience with U-Haul right off the bat was horrible. I was quoted an original price of 860 some. went back two months later to check on my quoted price and ultimately the manager in Flagstaff Arizona said no we will not honor that. I guess my price was never locked in? One of the employees even said that it looks like we seem to have an error your price is still fluctuating with the daily quotes. My verification code didn’t work or they just didn’t care they wanted a receipt from my email. which they failed to send me even though they had this quote listed in the notes. I was told this was a mistake but not until the day of. Multiple employees said this problem would be fixed but ultimately the manager declined after months of constant callbacks and negotiating the last day the manager ultimately said no to me. I insisted that she goes back and look over the recorded phone call as I wasn’t making any of this up. But Apparently that takes too much time. I had all dates written down for when I called in and even what went into their notes. It got to the point I could tell the U-Haul employees a lot more about what was going on. I knew what was in their notes more than they knew. They would have to go digging or looking through the system they said?!?! or the computer was slow or was put in a different system?!?! What? What kinda of system are you guys using. And they even accuse me of lying on the occasion. When you call the one 800 number and if the local office doesn’t pick up, it outsources I was talking to people in another state sometimes. Extremely annoying and arduous system I’ll write down peoples names, they couldn’t give me an identification number or obviously the last name so I would say “hey I talked to Karen from corporate” “Oh OK will wait for those notes to show up in our system” next day talk to a new employee, explain what happened. “we don’t have a Karen here” I understand you don’t have a Karen but Karen form Corporate after calling the one 800 number to complain about you Guys said you’d fix it and she left notes.” And it just never ended. Had to talk to 10 different people. My price was never locked in, the month of March the price was 900, the price in April was 1100 and after talking with them for months they wanted to charge me the quote of the day which was 1200+ they wouldn’t even next off a couple hundred bucks. For everything we’d been through and they all knew me by this point. It was so sad. The day of I called budget and they got me the same truck for about 890 was soooooo happy. To top all that off I forgot that because I didn’t get the truck my storage unit price went up. They quoted me 90 something. The day I showed up in a new state with no where to put my stuff they wanted to charge me 114 bucks a month. I I finally just got out of the U-Haul storage went with a local Fort Collins storage facility, 80 bucks a month same size and all. budget trucks are almost 2 or $300 cheaper than U-hauls on any given day. I still need to move a lot of stuff from Arizona to Colorado. Let’s just say budget and local businesses is getting all of my money not U-haul. If you use U-haul and you like them that’s fine. I had a terrible experience overall. Upon my move in after a 8 hour drive pulling a trailer I showed up with just enough time to check in and unload a trailer of stuff. Upon check in the employee did not tell me that the elevator does not go to the 4th floor!! that's insane! how could someone not tell me that I'd have to move up stairs. The move in logistically took longer and was harder and I was upset about. I would not have agreed to store my stuff there if I had known that the elevator did not go to my floor. However the office closed for the day by the time I discovered this incredibly inconvenient aspect. Then over six months I pay more than my previous storage company and pay my unit a visit. During this second visit I discover that my floor is not climate controlled and temps outside are in the 90's !! why did no-one tell me about this?! I would not stored my stuff there had I know. the location is advertised as climate control yet no-one told me my floor was not. After hours sweating and getting what I needed I ask to talk to a manager. The manager listened to my complaints but did nothing other than to suggest I move to the u-haul down the street. I ask if she could allow me to use a trailer to do so and she says it will be $25 , really you can't even comp $25 for me ! Knowing I have to move by myself in the heat and when I was not planning for this move! wow. really no shits given. no offer for a free month and trailer. no offer for help. no apology. I rented a trailer and moved my stuff to a different company and will never store stuff with U-Haul again. You lost a good costumer. Upon returning my trailer I talked with other customers returning equipment and they had complaints about U-Haul as a company as well as this locations staff. I would like a refund. I was told I would be able to get 1 month of a "free storage unit" with my moving truck rental. Son doesn’t start school until fall, so we do not have a local address. That is why we are storing his stuff. Storage was supposed to be 10’ X 5’. It was much smaller. The door was around 32”. Nickel and dime must be your business model huh? First off, I spend 2 hours on the phone with U Haul just trying to set up a storage unit (which they originally said it would be in a different location but my confirmation email said it was this one). Then you charge me for a lock? Your policy requires a "specific lock"? Thats dumb. That really is. I was told on the phone what my cost would be (with the free month) and then to after be told about needing to pay for insurance and a lock. That is just ridiculous. I had a problem with a trailer hitch installation involving a different U-Haul location and the staff at the mile high station location went out of their way to help resolve my issue and get me the perfect temporary storage solution to relieve some of the stress during a difficult cross country move.John A. | First Impressions
With a single loading bay and single service elevator for the upper floors, expect needing patience for loading/unloading larger amounts of possessions in and out. There is space for about 1-4 customers to load/unload from if you count the side door and they have 4 carts appropriately. Realistically, there's space for 1 customer during business hours via the loading bay as the side door is EXCEEDINGLY inconvenient for more than a few possessions. DO try to have 2+ persons when on the premises, as it'll be a lot safer and quicker to operate with the system that's in place. I wish I could recommend it, but the lacking of designated loading zone options makes it difficult to do so for the price unless it's convenient for you... The staff there is very aware of this and try to make it easier if they can. I rented a van and a storage room. I loaded my items in the van and returned to the storage room to unload. Upon returning, after employee hours, but in access hours, I found the lock to my new storage room had not been removed. This prevented me from unloading the van.ROSSI G. | First Impressions

My order was canceled for my truck because i was there at 3pm instead of 1pm. I was told this was a loose time table and no one even called me before cancelling it to see if i was just running late. I didn’t know it was cancelled until i got there-luckily they were able to still give me another truck-but i thought that was a big turn off from the start. I also wasn’t happy that when i called prior to booking the truck/storage unit regarding the 1 month free rent that i was told absolutely nothing about purchasing insurance or a circle lock-which i would’ve looked into prior to arriving for my pick up yesterday. Then, after spending 20 mins rebooking everything, we were told our truck was in row P...which had no keys. They then looked for the keys for 15 mins before giving us a different truck. We returned that truck at 6:45pm last night and I watched the workers drive it away after telling us our gas mileage and approving that the tank was refilled. I then received a call yesterday saying they couldn’t find the keys. Seems like a lot of lack of communication and it ultimately ate up 45 mins of time we could’ve been moving.Nicole C. | First Impressions
I rented a 8' x 10' x 8' unit. When I checked in, the height of these units are only 6' high. When I asked about the height, they said it is on average 8' high. It's not even close to 8' high. This is completely misleading and actually false advertising. When I asked, they said they could move me to a different unit, but it would be more expensive. No other options or offers.
