Worked in a pinch while recovering from Hurricane Helene. The advertised 1 month Free rent was soon negated by a rent increase. The unit measurements are not a true 10'×15' more like 9'×14'. The day I moved in the door was off track and had to wait 1+ hours on someone to come repair. Main gate wide open not working on several occasions. In my opinion the rent is fairly high for what you get. Would only recommend if you're desperate like I was.

I don't look at my computer during the day, and consequently they cancelled the reservation. They also said they phoned me and then told me they had the wrong phone number. It worked out in the end, but left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Make sure to buy the insurance (I didn't because I wasn't aware the facility had all these issues) I did call the facility to try to resolve my issues but was told that without purchasing the insurance, there was nothing they could do. My recommendation is to always get the insurance.

He said he had it rented to another customer at 3 p m. Instead, he put me in a 26 foot truck, which was way bigger than I needed. I went ahead in took the larger truck because I had no choice. 1/2 mile out of the U. Haul venue that truck was shaking, so bad wanted to turn around and take it back.But because that was the only truck available, I had to use it. That truck is not road worthy at this point. That truck shakes so bad and it feels like you're going over a dirt road. I had to drive under the speed limit at 40 miles an hour. Just to get to where I was going. I have rented trucks from you all many a times I know what a truck should feel like this was unbelievable. If it was someone that wasn't used to driving a truck, they probably would have brought it back or yeah, not made it to their destination. I did call the place I got it from, and he seemed to not really care. I paid good money.For raining, a truck and I got the worst truck in your entire fleet. I feel like I need to be reimbursed. Also I tried to put the truck on my easy pass, but it is already registered to another account, so I wasn't able to use my account so I won't incurb more charges. The worst part was, I think I need a new kidney because it beat me to death just kidding. U haul is a great company, but this truck is not road worthy. Thank you kenneth daniels

PETER RSoda spilled on outside of driver door when I received it. Floor panel in back of truck goes down when you step on it, enough to get your toes caught and pinched. Sounds and smells like it has an exhaust leak.
CRAIG BStaff were friendly and the facility was convenient and accessible. However, I have to be honest…the storage units need improvements. For outside units I would recommend elevating belongings on bricks or 2x4’s at least. Water does get in. Also the ceiling is coated with some sort of fluff filth that has deteriorated and falls all over the inside of the unit. There are roaches, rats and mice getting into and defecating all over whatever is being stored. I was able to find a unit of the same size, indoors, air conditioned, clean and free of insects and vermin under 5 minutes down the road…. and for a fraction of the cost.

When my husband arrived they informed him that they do not rent 20 foot trucks even though my reservation was confirmed. My husband had to find another location urgently as we had movers scheduled and we had to push them back. This was a huge error with UHaul.

Brian ERoger is very rude. He rubbed me the wrong way when I first pulled into the lot. He blocks all of the customer parting with a truck to fill a tire with air, then yells at me for parking off to the side because now I am blocking where he needs to park the truck when he's done. I ask where I am supposed to park and he points to the next lot over. He then apologized but says he has a job to do to get ready for the day (it is 10am, they opened at 9am). I pulled I reserved my truck online so I knew how much I would be spending. When I got there he argued with me about the price per mile (website said 99 cents, he kept insisting it was 79 cents). He calls me 2 hours later to tell me it is 99 cents per mile because "he forgot it was Friday so it's the weekend rate". I rented the truck for 1 day, but ended up needing to extend my rental for 1 day. I called the location to extend the rental. Roger was once again very rude telling me "as I stated yesterday, the truck needs to be returned on time because I have a reservation for it 30 minutes after your return time so no, I cannot extend it." He never told me any of that at the time of rental. He proceeded to call me back 5 minutes later saying he can try to call the other reservation to see if they would be interested in taking a larger truck instead (because the 20ft and 26ft are the same daily price). He tells me to hold tight and he will call me back. He then calls back less than 2 minutes later saying they accepted the offer so my truck rental can be extended. Just completely frustrating trying to work with a person who has a napoleon complex. Try being nice the first time so you don't have to apologize, un-sincere or not.

Despite making a reservation well in advance, the level of service and the quality of equipment provided were both severely lacking.Firstly, on several occasions I have received equipment with exhaust leaks, break lines leaking, and for this particular rental a truck with and exhaust leak and other issues resulting in only 8.5 mpg. I left a message on my contract to have a member of management reach out to me which never happened. I then reached out to Uhaul corporate to dispute the charges and have a member from corporate reach out to me. Was given REF# 4728832 I gave two numbers that I could be reached at and was never contacted by corporate either. I then reached out to speak with the main location manager and here is what I was told after I explained the situation. 1. All trucks get the same mileage despite what your website says with the exception of the cargo van. 2. I had contracted 10 miles but went 300, implying that going over on mileage affects overall mpg? Lol 3. I offered to send videos from the truck rented of these issues and was told “no, I’ll go over there and drive the truck” I never heard from anyone again in regards to this truck. I still have the videos if needed. John is a terrible manager and shouldn’t be in the position that he is in. As a customer, I shouldn’t be the one constantly reaching out when there is an issue. Totally unprofessional if you ask me.The staff seemed indifferent to the inconvenience caused and offered no viable solution or compensation.Furthermore, the condition of the truck I eventually received was subpar. It was dirty both inside and out, and there were obvious signs of wear and tear. Overall, this experience with U-Haul has left me extremely dissatisfied. As a customer, I expect a certain level of professionalism and reliability, which was sorely lacking in this instance. Krystal Ctruck was beat up .even the sun visor fell off onto my lap . this was when we just hop into the truck . also the seat adjustment to move it forward was broken and seat was not movable . radio worked but screen was broken /smashed .the truck in general ran ok steering had extra wheel play . the truck only had 90.000 miles on it but it was getting very tired !

However, at the time of drop off there was a sign indicating after hours drop off had to be done on the app. Because I had not downloaded the app on my phone I had to first do that and then follow the steps in the app. It actually took longer to drop off the truck than it did to pick it up. Everything else was fine.

There are no carts available here either for customer use, so moving in/out is overly taxing.

The AC units are inadequate for the space they’re in and there is no visible place to turn on the fans and it’s Florida. There are no carts to use. There are large rodent poison traps all over the floor. This place is subpar and the worst storage facility I have ever used. I’m sure my things will be ruined , possibly infested with critters, and in need of dry cleaning to get rid off the smell that will absorb into everything.

I recently rented a storage unit I explained to the man sitting behind the desk I would like it under my name handed him my license, credit card and gave him my email and emergency contact information. I confirmed automatic payments would be set up. The account was set up under my husband's name auto payment was never set up I was told "we have lots of complaints about that" I would think so customers are being charged because your system is a fail. I was issued a late payment in addition a lien was placed assessing additional fees. I came in to closed out my account I asked that he confirmed my contact information he read me my husband's #. They infact contacted my husband (currently going through a separation imagine if my situation was dangerous what would of happened) I asked for the manager she wasn't available. I asked for the fees to be removed he couldn't do that. I closed my account a few weeks ago my husband received an email stating your next bill is due June 25th. When I called the same guy said oh I do see it's still open. Just wow?!! I am very disappointed with this experience. This is concerning! You've got to do better!

Only to find the unit we were rented had a personal lock on it. It was an occupied unit. The uhaul employee (Chandler) told us he found a unit at another uhaul. It was less convenient location but now we are stuck. We drove to this location, only to find it was two 10x10s with the divider wall removed. There was no way to get the car into this style unit. After a lengthy conversation with customer service, we were told there is no units available and nothing else she could do for me. So we drove for hours back home with the car still on the uhaul trailer. Wife and I took a day off of work, spent money on a rental, extra gas to take my classic car on a tour of Florida. Shame on Uhaul for their unreliable reservation system. SHAME on Uhaul for their lack of resolution for their failures!

Staff kind intelligent and helpful particularly the girl with the great hair. She saved the transaction with her intelligence. She deserves a raise and hopefully will not be stuck working in a feces littered hellhole for much longer.

I approached your office with my inability to pay on time, but wat we received was 4 threatening letters in a 14 days time, if you do not pay up we will and so on. During a worldwide pandemic, when people lost their jobs and were struggling to keep food on the table, UHaul never waived any late fees in fact we were assessed a fee for Lien notification. I called in to try and resolve and they said that there was nothing they could do. Very sad during these difficult and confusing times.
