I made my reservation online. I ordered the truck from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. along with an appliance dolly. I also opted for the insurance. When I arrived, my reservation was scheduled until 5 p.m., so that had to be corrected, I had to once again confirm insurance AND I was asked if I needed to rent any other supplies, like a dolly. Why have online reservations if I have to reconfirm everything at the store anyway!?

The only thing I can think of is to park the rental trucks a bit further away from the road - visibility is pretty important when pulling out of that location, especially if the person driving isn't overly familiar with towing.

the truck they rented us had alignment issues, the rear tire had a bubble that could have had a blow out and caused damage. When we returned it to location the attendant was not very happy about having to do this for us

Are use the U-Haul reservation system online, when I made the reservation it was for you all that was about a mile from my house, but at the last moment he was changed to a location more than 5 miles from my house. The The location I went to was very nice and professional and did a great job service wise. But you were online reservation system is horrible, not only did it move me 5 miles away, it went past two other closer you all locations near my home. Get your act together and make your online reservations better and more efficient for your customer not for recovery.

The requirement to hold the original vehicle registration for my personal vehicle in order to rent is ridiculous, especially when it is left up to the customer to remember to ask for it to be returned upon returning the rental! If my husband hadn't remembered, I would have been driving around without my registration. Could be a potential liability to Uhaul if I got pulled over and didn't have it! You need to think of a better solution or may just take a photocopy of the registration.

Agency needs to make copies of each truck key and keep for emergency, especially for local rentals. Telling the customer that company policy is not to have copies and leaving them hanging is not acceptable.

Your gasoline policy is a perfect example of a shady business practice. What happened to returning the gas tank full? Uhaul wins if I return it short, because you're going to charge me a high price per gallon, and you win if I fill it up too much because you get free gas. Why don't you try to stop being little fucking leeches!

They gave me the WRONG size trailer, even though they said they would text me the day before if the size I reserved wasn't available at that location. An employee at that location named Mary-Katlin, lied and wrote in her report that she CALLED me on the day before (Saturday) the pick up. I have the phone records showing that she did NOT call me and lied about having done so. The "free" upgrade from the 4x8 trailer I reserved to the 5x8 that they gave me, (but did NOT notify me about), only meant that I had to tow MORE weight behind my van, up and down hills, through the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains. The truck I rented is starting to show it's age. Steering isn't precise and lots of damage on the outside. Penske trucks does not have these badly bruised trucks
