The price for a 5x10 is very overpriced! UHaul needs to take the price gouging profits and give Dallas a well deserved pay raise. Dallas had to do more than needed do too your incompetent people at the Phoenix call center.

At 0700 why are you asking me to call someone to confirm who I am. I gave you credit card, driver's license, address, picture of me, I paid insurance, and you make me wake up someone who does not recognize your number and will not answer. If I knew, I could have talked to stranger outside, ask for number, give it to you, and I'm good. I don't know of any other business that does this. Delete this requirement. Besides this, rest was fine.

It was well maintained, but not clean. It was wet and dirty. But, since it had snowed the previous days, it was understandable. I just had to be more careful placing my items in it. Didn't want to give a false answer, nor have it sound like a negative. It's all good. : ) Staff was efficient and friendly!

I had a great rental experience! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a wow experience. That kind of seems strange to say but there was a moment where I said to myself "these are probably the most friendly, nicest customer service agents I've ever dealt with". Which was really nice because my moving experience was a nightmare due to the fact that it had snowed for three days straight. Really nice to see pleasent, caring and nice people when everything else isn't going well.

Friendly staff, just had been worried we would be charged for something we hadn't done to our uhaul since there was damage inside and out that had not been noted by the employee. Overall good experience, though, fast service, and the uhaul was brought to us, instead of having to search for it

Van had an oil leak and it leaked all over our new driveway. We had to add oil to the van for it even to keep running. When we returned the van, the staff was skeptical of us and their attitude was that they believed we were lying about the oil leak. That was after I showed them a picture of the stain. We asked for reimbursement for the time, money, and energy this cost us and they did not care. We had to put our own oil in the tank because you did not maintenance your vehicle properly before renting to us. I am extremely disappointed in your customer service. If you would have given me a discount off my mileage as compensation for the oil leak, I would not write a bad yelp review. But now that I got the full bill, I am going to tell the truth about your horrible customer service on Yelp. Never coming back here again.

Nothing. We were second in line, everything was in order. It was helpful to pre-register which saved time for the pickup. I was paying for the trailer when the staff person attached the trailer. I would have liked to practice attaching and un attaching the trailer, even though instructions were provided.

Register not working properly caused big delays for customers. That's a very basic thing that doesn't happen at other retailers. Truck was changed in the middle of the process, both were difficult to find. You should park them in numbered spots like car rental agencies do. Exterior of truck, including a very dirty windshield, was dirty.

1). Don't require a backup phone call to someone who may be busy or sleeping. That's very imposing and I'll check with other rentals before I go through that again. 2). Have the equipment person show you how to disconnect and reconnect an unfamiliar trailer rather than just having them hook it up for you. I had to unhook my trailer and had a very hard time hooking it up again because of a simple mistake I was making.

I am a regular at this location and do not like having to people get called before you can rent it's very embarrassing..... I have never been denied a rental and follow the rules .

The gentleman who was working the counter when I went to pick up my truck was extremely rude and unprofessional, as I was standing in line he was speaking to the customers in English as they discussed the rental truck when the customer stated he was going to Cali Richard stated he just came from there at that point Richard switched to Spanish speaking to speak on how he feels about Colorado driver and people in Colorado, not realizing I too understand the Spanish language. Being in customers service I don't see how this is ok in anyway shape or form. I will not be returning to this location as the staff are rude in every way.

we called to say we were running late because of a terrible traffic jam and the rep said that was fine, BUT you charged us for FOUR DAYS! Really not cool! We also had to buy an adapter because the lights wouldn't work on the trailer but it wasn't our truck r, it was the lights on the trailer that needed repair. Why do we have to pay for non working equipment!

I had to knock off one star because of the lack of elevator at the facility. I was provided a 2nd floor unit but was not told that I needed to carry everything up a flight of stairs. If offered the option I would have taken a first floor unit. With that said everyone at this location was extremely friendly and helpful. For that I would recommend this location but I would make sure they requested a first floor unit.

I originally reserved a 10' truck at 1193 N ACADEMY BLVD in COLORADO SPRINGS for 5:00pm via the truck share where I check in on my phone. Upon arriving at that location and checking in on my phone, I am promoted to go inside to get the keys. Well, once I am inside, I am told that the truck that was reserved for me was out of commission due to expired tags and headlights out and whatever. Already frustrated at this news that U-HAUL reserved a truck for me that could no be used, I am then told they don't have any 10' trucks available and that I must go to another location. Instead of offering me something else and trying to make it right, I am told I need to go to another location and be inconvenienced even more, after U-HAUL made this mistake?? So already upset, I go to this location on Nevada St and then I have to wait in line for 20 mins. As the minutes tick by, I am getting more and more frustrated. I didn't get my truck that I reserved for 5:00pm until almost 6pm, an hour after my original reservation. I made that reservation for that time for a reason, and time was a factor for me. Also, I used truck share because I was under the impression that it would save time, be easier, and more convenient. Boy was I wrong. And did anyone from U-HAUL try to compensated me for this extreme inconvenience, DUE TO THE MISTAKE OF U-HAUL? No, absolutely nothing. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with U-HUAL and this mistake. And even more so that nobody at U-HAUL did anything whatsoever to make this right. And on top of everything, I see two pending charges from each location! I sure hope I don't get charged twice, and I hope you can make this right.

The interior of the equipment was clean; the exterior was very dirty. Your no-contact checkin process is needlessly complicated and duplicative; I could have saved a lot of time by sending you a picture of me and the front and back of my driver's license the night before, instead of trying to do it in the car or outside.

I was over charged 43 dollars because they didn't think I put fuel back in the truck, I showed them a picture and they gave me a refund but I still haven't received it now I'm sitting here with no money. I'm surviving on unemployment due to covid. Then what upset me the most is no one brought up the extra charge, I didn't even see it anywhere until I saw my bank account. I wasn't told I was being charged the extra.

It took nearly 30 minutes to obtain the truck I had made a reservation for online. We were quite literally the only customers in the store. No greeting or "hello"; instead we got "what do you need". The gentleman '"helping us" was extremely slow and somewhat confrontational when once we had started to become annoyed that this process was taking so long. I had done the exact same process 2 weeks prior in Baltimore and was in and out quickly and happily.

The check-in with phone was not quite as advertised. Upon arrival, I had to take more photos of myself and my driver's license. It also asked me for my passport, which I do not carry with me unless I am flying internationally. If I'd have known to bring it, it would have been much better. Also, it was not explained that you cannot drive away with the vehicle until you provide a phone number for a reference. That person must answer the phone before you can leave with the vehicle. Because of all of these things, I was a bit unprepared for the process and it took about an hour just to pick the vehicle up. It was not advertised this way. That said, dropping off the vehicle was much faster. The people were nice, and the price to rent a vehicle is really great. Thanks!

I scheduled my pick-up for 10am, but service was so slow that I didn't get the truck until 1030-1045 putting me behind my schedule and the people that were helping move my things behind their schedule. When I returned the truck I had to wait another half hour just to check it back in. To me this is very unacceptable and I have rented from this location before and never had this wait problem. A suggestion especially for the weekends, have two people at the front counter and two people outside checking out and in equipment to reduce waiting time. I actually saw some people leave because service was to slow.

was extremely frustrated at the amount of complications I encountered with this rental. I originally set up this reservation over a month prior to the set date at a location close to me but two weeks from the reserved date I was forced to change my pickup location which increased my drive by about an hour. Then two days before the reserved date the time of the reservation changed to the afternoon which wasn't a workable option because I had hired workers for the morning hours. I then was forced to change locations again to find a truck that I could pick up at the needed time one day before our move. Then during pick up (which was ride share 24-7) the key in the drop box was the incorrect key and the truck didn't have the reserved dolly and pads inside. Luckily it was only 30 min before the store opened. What would I have done if it would have been a pm pick up? With so many moving pieces involved with moving these were not problems I was anticipating having to solve. I almost gave up on uhaul at this point. Please don't allow reservations like this to be made if they can not be followed through on.

Security check of calling someone to verify ID seems inadequate, and at the same time, an unexpected hurdle to renting even a trailer, hardly a theft risk. Secured with credit card in any case. Delayed me by 20 minutes, after calling 3 sibllings.

It was a struggle to utilize the truck for multiple days since I was only using it for in town moving but I had issues with my new apartment on when I can move in versus when I had to move out of my last place so I was stuck in limbo for a couple days and everything on the truck They made it difficult for me to extend. Where I had to call the customer service line to get them to extend my truck another two days. when I was speaking to the customer service rep they told me that I was good until Sunday night it is now Sunday morning I returned a truck and I'm told I'm getting charged for another day even though a customer service said I was good till Sunday

Only problem I had was the return process. I returned it after hour went to uhaul.com and click item return but you need to share your location to make sure you returned it to right location but it would not find my location. That was the only problem

I picked the truck up 3/4 full and when I tried to call to see if it needed to have full tank and they reimburse me or just guess at how much was needed to get to 3/4 the phone line kept being kicked to automated U-Haul corp. instead of exact location. Fortunately my husband came to pick me up and was able to ask them. Otherwise all was great. Scare tactic on $10 insurance coverage even though my insurance covers...I did not get it!!!

The lady st the desk was rude when I got there to checkin to get my unit and then after return the trailer. The lady preceded to tell us that the person outside would help but there wasn't anyone outside that's why we'd went inside. Then we waited for over 20 minutes to hart our unit and tube person that finally helped us was very friendly and told me that the girl inside cant do the trailer returns but we told her we were there to check in for our unit and return the trailer.
