The truck was fine, the problem was that it took an hour to get the truck. I reserved the truck a couple days before, when I went to pick it up there was a line of four people in front of me and it was a very, very slow process. There was one person working behind the counter on a Saturday morning! The person working behind the counter was wonderful, everyone was impatient and making negative comments while they were waiting and she stayed very professional and moved everyone along as fast as she could. I believe her name was Dallas, I told her that she was doing a great job considering the very poor staffing situation... Andrew

I reserved my storage online for a 10x12 73.00 monthly rate with 24 hour access, I received a call the day before move in asking if I had to have the 24 hour access because it was usually for commercial customers only, I replied stating I didn’t have to have 24 hour access as long as it was going to be the same for the non 24 hour access. The day of move in with my I haul loaded I showed up to sign my documents for the storage and was told that I would be getting a 10x12 for 116.00 a month and that I would not be able to have the commercial unit I originally asked for because I would need a manager approval.

Better communication between locations and not allowing convenience stores to turn you away when your drop off location states it is supposed to go there. Also ensure the website and locations speak so I don’t have to waste my time going to a different location to pick up because of your lack of customer service!

The day after returning my rental ahead of time, u haul began making calls to my spouse and local contact asking where the truck was. Saying I hadn't. This was after I had attempted to call and retrieve my garage door opener that was left behind mistakenly. After speaking to the call center 3 desperate times (morning, lunch and drive home after work) a single person was able to crack the davinci code of talking to a human at the store. I was promised a call back all three times, which never happened. When I as the customer needed support, no one was available to resolve. However, when they thought (mistakenly ) that I owed them a truck return.... they were very persistent. Absolute shit service. From an absolute shit customer service model. The idea that not a single person can be reached by phone OR ANY OTHER MEANS throughout the entire business day, start to finish.... is incomprehensible in 2018. Lost my business forever.

Took almost an hour to get the equipment even though I had it reserved well in advance. Personnel could not find it in the system even though it was on the lot. Also the new emergency contact / security policy that requires personnel to directly contact two people before releasing the equipment is dumb and insulting.

It is completely ridiculous to show it to pick up a truck at 7 in the morning and have to call people as an alternate phone number. I have one phone none of these people are real alternative contact . If you're going to have such a stupid policy notify the people that your policies are dumb so they can bring phone numbers for people and that verify they're going to be home and answer the phone. Everyone behind me was pissed at your company having to wait almost an extra half-hour for your clerk to call seven different people, look up numbers I did bring with me, and get someone to answer a phone before I can get my truck if that's not stupid I don't know what is

Obviously, UHaul policies have changed, and the company now requires verification of a phone number, address, and an emergency contact number. While that's all fine, what I did not appreciate was having the customer service rep ask me to relate this info out loud in front of a line of other individuals behind me. Also, calling my emergency contact person and placing them on speaker phone was also unnecessary. In an age where people's personal info is often used for illicit purposes, I suggest that UHaul consider more private methods of obtaining such information so it's not advertised to random people who are in line behind customers.

I was so very happy with the excellent customer service that was provided by all the staff I encountered. I do not feel at this time that there are any improvements to be made. Staff should be commended on how amazingly helpful they were.

my Colorado drivers license and proof of insurance should be enough to rent a truck. I should not need another individual to vouch for me. No particular valid reason was given for this new requirement. I would think twice before renting a pickup truck from this location again.

I returned the equipment after hours. It didn’t get checked in for two days. Apparently their guys missed it. ? How do you miss a trailer parked in your return lane? But whatever. It finally got checked in. Good thing I had returned it before it was due.

Dallas & Grady were great! Very helpful. While waiting to return my vehicle I witnessed Dallas being verbly abused by customer .She handled it professionally ,with dignity ,an grace. She is a huge asset to your organization.
