CHRISTAIN FI returned the trailer on Saturday 5/10, the same day I rented it. I was called by the location on Monday saying I had not dropped it off. When they checked the trailer was indeed there but they changed my credit card for an extra day rental which was not accurate.

Rude employees the last draw was I was getting blamed for breaking a door that I have no idea. Just because your door didn't work from the beginning they want to turn around and say I broke a door. I did not last a month their. I would not recommend this place. At all.

Its better to wait for 15min in line and not playing with the app Truck worked fine ------------------- Pickup: Uhaul staff asked to use the uhaul APP but the app lockup , gets stuck. I had your associate help. same issues . We had to default back to using the desk computer to rent the truck.. 40min wasted to use the app. Return: same thing happen on the return.. another 45min wasted using the app.. Called in after hours support ( very helpful answer my questions) but I kills so much time with the app again. Didnt want to use the web version. I allotted for the uhaul AM staff to check in and review the bill the next morning.
RAUL MI arrived as the location was closing for the evening. Even though it made them stay after closing time for a few minutes, the team greeted me, inspected my truck, and closed out my rental. I was very grateful to be taken care of that way.

Matthew MResources at front desk were very passive, I was hit with a mandatory insurance cost that I was not expecting, and they told me to go to the wrong building, where my code did not work, the front desk resource thought I wasn't pulling on the door right, had to say the screen on the code box said DENIED multiple times before she believed me, finally they came out to look at it, and they discovered they told me the wrong building. added an hour to my unload process. also space between buildings is limited to turn around and get around corners.

Corey LVehicle was picked up several hours before it was due back, stranding me at a hotel that morning. I had personal belongings and a large tub full of office items that I needed. Now they can't find the van or my personal items and are facilitating identity theft and fraud. They can't explain why it was picked up at my hotel, or why they want to charge me for 130 miles I didn't drive. And $5 per gallon to fill the tank when I would have done that myself for half that cost.

COLIN LEven though everything was fine the only problem I had was the truck! It need an alignment really bad and I was scared to drive the truck the entire time. It was making a weird noise when we went down a hill almost as if it was going to stop on us and then it would jerk back into gear. I had to swing the steering wheel left and right the entire time just to stay in a straight line and I was very uncomfortable driving but really needed the truck to move. The service over all in the place was very good and the guy at the front counter helped me out and made sure I had my equipment. Besides the truck being an issue for me everything else was excellent.

KENNETH CThere was no windshield wiper fluid to clean the front window which was a hindrance. The check engine light came on 10 minutes before I dropped the car back off. The guy receiving the car said that is normal. 😬😳

THOMAS ZThe truck was absolutely disgusting and reeked of cigarette smoke. Everything was coated in sticky stuff and remnants of food. On top of that, the tank barely had any gas. I called the front desk and asked what the policy was and she said to fill it up and they would apply the credit for the gas to my final bill so long as I provided the receipt. This was then disputed when I returned the truck and I provided the receipt. The man said what I had been told was incorrect and they wouldn’t be crediting me. I asked “so I just paid for you to have free gas?” and the female employee behind him said “yep” while laughing. This was first and last time using U-Haul.

ARTURO TI was giving a truck with previous damage, using the link to document trucks condition; after reach my final distention, I find the app didn't record the photo of the damage at pick up point. If not for my daughter taking her own picture (with pick up date and time stamp), I would have been charged for the damage to truck. Also, UHAUL website gave me problems, the wrong dolly was recorded, when I asked to change, the attended didn't change the type of dolly in the system. Causing problems on return end.
Brian BWe talked/worked with several different people at this location and all acted like they didn't want to be working. They were not helpful in guiding us to the next step in the process which kept us unnecessarily waiting at the shop for 1.5 hours when we could have been out of there in 30 minutes. It was not pleasant. It was like they expected us to know how things work at the store instead of walking us through the process.
Paige SGet more competent help in the yard. It took entirely too long for them to find the trailer I rented. Then it took two guys to figure out how to hook it up correctly.

Other than that I definitely love the staff , they are always so friendly and helpful. I always go to the same U-Haul location anytime I have a moving need.

The staff was able to drill it off an whoever replaced the lack with the cylinder lock left the trash inside our storage room. Would not recommend due to someone opening our storage unit an no one could tell who did it or how the new lock got on it.

I arrived before close and there was also another young gentleman who was waiting outside. I saw the manager trying to hide in the back of the store with the lights off. I proceeded to knock on the door and eventually the manager came to the door. he started speaking to us through the glass of the front of the store, and we could not hear him clearly. Not only that, it was raining torrentially outside, and we were soaking wet. He never opened the door. He told me to use the app to return the truck and drop the keys in the drop box. Keep in mind I have no idea how to access the storage facility, nor do I know how to find my particular storage. This was the most unsettling customer service experience I have ever had.

I did not like the accessibility of the storage units because the non-climate controlled units did not have a ramp like the climate controlled ones. So hetting stuff in and out was to walk up and down stairs. Next time I get a storage unit I will look for one outside and on ground level at a cheaper price. But I did like the convenience of having my storage close by my apt. and being able to rent a u-haul and buy moving supplies.

saul f | Overall ExperienceBecause I rented the storage facility site unseen I was unaware there was no AC nor was there any type of ventilation. When I arrived it was 106° outside and what felt like 200° inside and no elevator or lift system to go to the second floor. Because I did everything online I called the storage facility prior to arriving to confirm everything. I was told by the rep that I needed a card to access the gate which turned out not to be true, I only needed an access code which I was not given online. Because I would arrive after closing hours I had to have a family member go to the facility before it closed to get this card I needed to access the gate and it was then I realized a card was not needed. It appears all the reps working that site was not on the same sheet of music. I eventually got everything moved from the trailer into the storage room but if given the opportunity to do it again I’ll make sure there is some type of ventilation even if there is no AC and get a storage unit on the ground. Although the reps were not on the same sheet of music I did find them to be professional. I don’t blame my not so great experience on Uhaul, it’s purely my responsibility to know where I’m going and what to expect before arriving with proper planning.

James M | Overall ExperienceMaybe it was mentioned somewhere, but I did not see that this 2-story facility does not have any elevators. So if you're moving furniture up to a 2nd floor unit, it's on you, and the stairs are not the easiest to navigate. That was something that should be much more prominently mentioned as a warning to pending new customers. We made it work, but certainly would have been nice to know and prepare for prior to arriving. Parking and navigating with anything larger than a 10-15' U-Haul is also very difficult as the lanes between the storage buildings are narrow and there is only one way in and out of the facility - which was nicely blocked 1/2 way by a unit owner's pickup truck who left it there for most of the day, blocking the exit side of the lane leading in and out.

I was paying movers by the hour that day and had to wait in your building for over 30 minutes while your employee searched through his computer trying to find me a unit. I also didn’t like that 2 other individuals who came after me was serviced before me and while I was being serviced. None of it made sense. If I wasn’t paying movers by the hour who were already there with me I absolutely would have chose to store my belongings at different location. The staff was nice but it seemed like they were short handed. I hope this review helps improve the customers experience in the future.

The people on the Harry Hains location said that I didn’t have a reservation for storage. Also the young girl(Unfortunately I don’t have her name) on the front desk was not professional at all to taking care clients and she was also fighting and answered rude to her coworkers by the hand radio in front everyone. She had big attitud and never keep eye contact when I talked to her. Finally a gentleman helped me to finish with the process of returning the trailer and getting the unit. It is really frustrated because we were driving 17 hours from Florida to Texas and arrived to a place where the cuat service is poor and the reservation previously made it was not respect. At the end I have to go another place and find another storage.

No more missing flights because I had to spend hours trying to get into my storage unit because of a lock saying i hadn't paid for it which was not they case and you morons even admitted that openly. My experience was the worst thing you could ever have, the incompetence was a level I never thought possible.

ON check in found out that NO ground was or requested size was available so I was up sold on a larger more expensive room...The store representative said that a confirmation # didn't reserve a room it was a spot in line...I was completely miss lead....I'm working on a different facility for my storage needs...The electricity was out at the facility in 105 degree weather so there were NO LIGHTS or AIR conditioning.... This place is a DUMP... The. ONLY thing good about the situation was the employee there that work on finding something that worked..

Motion detected preferably so people don’t forget to turn it off and waste electricity. Also it was super hot in the unit I was in. Maybe some type of air flow. When I arrived I went in asked the older white male for assistance with the auto transport to take my car off (that’s what I was told to do from Chantilly location), he advised to get in my car and someone will be over to guide me down. Here is where I had the issue I advised him that I couldn’t get in because the things were blocking the doors, he said they come off just pop them off or something to that sort. I said i don’t know how and I was not there when U-Haul put it together. He then rolled his eyes and shook his head as if I worked for U-Haul and I knew what he was talking about. At that point Jesse just came and told me I can help you ma’am (thank goodness). He then guides me off I advised him I’m waiting on movers where can I move truck he told me at the storage unit. Well they have not giving me one yet so no access. He then told me to pull over to the right. I waited in the truck until he can move the auto transport for maybe 5 to 10 minutes because I could not back up with it there. I got out and asked when he was moving it he told me it would be a while and just leave my truck there. I go inside speak with Barbara (very nice) she calls the young lady to show me the units. The one I selected had a big helium tank in there. She advised by the time I get back it would be moved. Well i came back the tank was right outside my unit actually in the way. However my movers moved everything in. We closed the door had a little struggle but we got it closed. Went to open it back up and it would only lift half way. Just realizing after unloading that the unit door was broken. I went and spoke with Barbara Advised her it was broken and when shut the top right side is kinda open. She then said she would get one of the men to look at it. I had to go because It was almost 3 o’clock at that moment I had been there since 12p with all the waiting and going back and forth. She then advises me to come in tomorrow and my stuff would be fine because they have cameras everywhere. This was a very stressful experience. We had just driven 20 plus hours came in expecting everything to go seamlessly and it did not.

What a mess!! When I arrived well before closing , was to we were Not able to unload , didnt have a correct size unit booked there, finally got a couple of units secured for unloading in the morning , after the booking mixup - but when we arrived ! They had no air conditioning!! In texas!! Though that had always been my request - Air conditioned unit - One unit had holes in the wall - Apparently all they had available to fix the problems I will never, ever ever use your facilities again - It was a complete nightmare experience and my stuff is now storage in the heat and cold - Your customer service people do not! Know what they are doing and this centralized phone system is truly a nightmare !
