Great experience. Easy pick up and drop off
The older gentleman seemed sort of grumpy. He didn't smile one time.
The exterior of equipment was not clean.
Thank you! Excellent Customer Service!
My son and I rented a 17ft Uhaul w/ pads, two wheel dolly on 9/16 to move out of my home. We picked up the truck at 9am and headed out to my home, as we got close to home we received an urgent emergency phone call from a family member. The emergency was such that we needed to postpone the move and get to the family asap. My son immediately called Uhaul and explained to them what was going on, the lady at Corporate Uhaul was very understanding but advised us the best thing we could do was return the truck to where we picked it up and speak to the manager John Riley. We took the truck back to where we rented and explained that we had not even opened the doors and we would like to try to get some of our money back. John Riley looked at us and said "you drove the truck off the lot no refund or partial refund". We were not looking for a full refund we understood we had tied the truck up for an hour or so. I do not recommend this particular UHaul office at all, they have no heart and no compassion.
Passenger mirror would not stay so it'd blow outward constantly. Literally could not see off that mirror and just had to avoid lane changes to the right the entire time. Arm rest was also broken on driver side. Key would get stuck in ignition and we'd have to jiggle it constantly to get it out. Tried to pick up initially and no one was inside and I couldn't find anyone outside. Tried to just pickup through the app and it's absolutely terrible. Would barely load and a million menus when it's 100 degrees outside. Terrible experience overall. The only nice thing was the guy that finally helped us pick it up initially, can't remember his name but said he just started.
Very friendly! Great customer service
Long wait time even after checking in before arriving and clerk had to call 2 people just for me to rent a trailer after I have rented multiple trailers without any issues.
Very easy and efficient. Great experience with friendly helpful staff.
Major issues from start to finish. Truck was not properly inspected before being given to me and had a nonfunctional turn signal/brake light. Delayed my trip for two hours because we did not notice until we started driving. Returned the car dolly after two days then when I went to return the truck two days after that they said we had not returned the car dolly. Told us we would have to pay for the dolly until they realized it was lent to someone else. Then today I was left a voicemail that the truck wasn't returned! I will be avoiding your company whenever possible in the future.
Initial truck that was given to me had a dead battery. Had to spend an extra 30 minutes checking both trucks and talking to u-haul worker to get another truck. furniture dolly was also not preloaded in truck and had to get it myself.
The retail store & staff were great. The customer service phone line staff, need work. I received a lot of mis-information or info I needed but they did not tell me. Which was frustrating.
Provide lock and keep that are attached to vechicle.
nothing that i notice at this point, everything is good.
Van had streaks and smudges on it. Had to have undocumented marks cataloged by employee before we left. Wash the equipment please. No one was there to return the equipment to.
The truck was not well maintained. It needed some work.
After coming here for years, I have had the worst experience. The new gm John appeared to go out of his way to make me feel unwelcome. I would even say it felt a bit RACIST. I did the Express check online and it took almost 3 times as long. He felt it necessary to inspect my credit card. He took a picture of me. None of this ever happened. While returning the van he came to speak the man helping me and acted like I wasnt standing there. Good news for him. I will NEVER come to this location again.
Keep doing what you are doing. Everyone was friendly and very helpful in making this all go as smoothly as possible. Thanks.
Very rude very disrespectful liars all of them are scum bags. They didn’t aware me to take pictures of the vehicle before I drop her off the lot. They’re also trying to charge me for previous damage on the vehicle that wasn’t caused by me. When I whenever I told them that it wasn’t me they all started laughing at me like they were trying to pull a scam very disrespectful very rude and not professional at all please go to a different location.
To me, the weekends are the busiest days. Have more than 2 people behind counter. I waited 25 mins to be helped. even though i reserved to a truck the day before.
Overall displeasing experience. We opted for the 24/7 phone rental checkin and I got numerous different contacts telling me all different information (checkin through this text, call this number, click this link, oh you’ve already been signed in, person on phone just come in and you’ll be fine). All of this mixed messages ahead of time was confusing. Then the day of we used the app and followed the instructions to the rental truck it told us to get. Which is was confused why they need to ask for your passport, lease, etc. which is nothing I typically carry around when we were at the place trying to get the truck (would have thought that would have been asked for before). Well, that truck was the only one that was jammed into all the others and not easily accessible (would need to reverse between two tight telephone poles) all the while all the other trucks were easily there to pull out forward in. So we asked from help from the only staff member available and he got the keys and backed it out for us. We asked if there was anything else we needed to do, he said no, so we carried on with our planned day. Then a few hours later I get a call from an unknown number and it’s a manager at uhaul asking if we reserved the vehicle as it shows it wasn’t picked up. I explained the above and how we have the truck and that was process a mess. He then needed my information again (not someone who prefers to give out my information to someone not verified over the phone and figured i had already provided it to the account....so I made him email me...plus I’m in the middle of moving). Also, I asked what the charge would be and he told me and then when I asked what the environmental fee was for the manager did not know. So just frustrating that it was so complicated and appears some things need to be more clear to make the process smoother. Otherwise, the truck was clean and we moved as scheduled, but frustrated at their process as there were a lot of kinks in the system for me. Thankfully, we returned to a different U-Haul location and they were great!
Front display could improve customer service.
dolly I received didn't have extending ramp arms for vehicle. Wasn't able to get vehicle on because it would've scratched the undercarriage.
