We moved to another place bc key cards stopped working allllllll the time. Then you’d have to wait in line for 15-45 minutes when it didn’t work. There is NOT enough people working, they don’t acknowledge when you enter 80% of time although most recent manager (African American woman) was great and helpful... but still couldn’t fix the key issues and give us back lost time and frustration. I contacted a customer service number to uhaul and no response. My advice... GO BACK TO PIN NUMBERS. It’s crazy to charge 300+ abd not have access available

Terrible customer service. Seriously, the worst person to talk to on the phone during the conversation on 11/09/2020. Extremely unprofessional, stupid, and non-sense person. I believe that he is one of the managers. If you want to know about this in detail, please reach out to me again. Just a horrifying experience. I really wish that there is a competitor to Uhaul so that I will definitely forget Uhaul for my life time and choose the competitor whenever I need a truck. A terrible human being seriously.

Your 2885 Clairmont location was absolutely horrible. I had a reservation for 6:30 pm Saturday evening and my vehicle was out front and ready but the woman working told me she gave me vehicle away to the couple who had just came in. There is either human error or a system error (most likely both) because why would the system allow her to double book a vehicle unless she was lying to me?? Either way, I reserved a vehicle for Saturday evening, had my card charged (fortunately I was reimbursed), and was meant to be entirely moved out of my apartment, which I was unable to complete because of either system/human error and/or terrible customer service. I hate to complain but that's literally what your company exists for, products and services

I ordered 4 dozen blanketa and a hand truck. We received none. The truck was dirty. The inside had chocolate ice cream inside. We were not credited for the missing hand truck. When I went back to pick it up. She stated we neve have those things here. She was rude and we could not find her for 30 minutes when we arrived to pick up truck. Horrible experience.

When I took over the vehicle, I realized that the gas level was at 5/8 instead of 7/8 as mentionned prior to taking over the vehicle. I didn't report it as I was in a hurry but should have done though. I filled the van with 2 gallons of gas after driving 14 miles but still got a gas charge from U-Haul, which I feel is not correct.

I was charged for refilling the tank even though I returned it with MORE gas in it than I received it with. I received it with less than a quarter tank, returned it with half, then was charged almost $50 to fill the tank completely. I am never using u-haul again

I originally had a reservation at the location at 3947 Peachtree Road, but the vehicle I reserved had a flat tire. I was assured I had a vehicle saved for me at the piedmont location, only to arrive and find out I have 2h45 of rental since it was double booked. This is not the first time an incident like this has happened to me with U-Haul. I will not be returning my business here or any U-Haul location.

Moving plastic boxes were terribly dirty and in the middle of a pandemic, having everything clean, should be a priority. I has to clean it and desinfect myself.

The U-Haul employee helping me was not friendly and wasn't wearing a mask. The U-Haul I was assigned was the 4th truck back in a line and it was tight in front and behind the truck. I went in to ask if someone could get the truck out for me, the employee rolled her eyes and said she would come move it shortly. I also told her that I had paid for a dozen furniture pads, but there weren't any in the truck. She said they didn't have any - but it wasn't taken off of my bill. It took her 4-5 times of backing into the truck behind mine in order for her to get the truck out. I would NEVER recommend this U-Haul location to anyone.

All the women working at this location were super nice and helpful even in the busy morning time. Parking is really the main downside to getting a U-Haul here. Getting in and out of the lot are a challenge.

No dolly was available after I had reserved it online. There was no parking available. How else am I supposed to pick up the truck if I can't drive to the location. The truck check engine light was on but I was told...everything was ok.

There's not enough space for trucks, they are crammed in a line. Staff is slow and I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come in the office to return the truck. The truck's engines sounded like it was going to blow up and did not feel safe driving. I've driven uhauls before and this truck was not in good condition.

At my pickup time, my pickup location was changed to 10 miles down the road. I received an email that it was changed AT the pickup time, but that was too late, as I had already driven to the original pickup location. Really good communication on Uhaul's part. Lost 2 hours of my moving time sitting in traffic for pickup and drop off because of this.

There was a homeless man sleeping in the truck, as the truck was not locked at night. The homeless man proceeded to Yell at my wife and I, along with throwing several beer cans at our car. He also poured a beer on our car. NO HELP from UHaul, as a small framed girl was at the counter. She should not be put in this type of danger, along with customers. If I rent a truck, furniture dolly, and furniture pad for a few hours, then two things are obvious: I'm on a tight schedule, and I'm moving furniture. You let me rent that stuff online and confirm my reservation, but then when I get there you nonchalantly tell me you don't have the dolly, thus screwing me on my tight schedule. You have a million rules that you expect people to follow and honor, but you can't even honor such a small but important side of your bargain.

Very friendly, fast, and convenient. I own a trailer, but I'm finding out that just renting from U-haul is easier than picking my own trailer up and storing it 30 miles away.

Customer service was not acceptable. Upon returning the van, the attendant actually yelled at me and asked what part of the return here sign did I not understand. Trying to explain that I did not see a sign, she stated that I didn't look. The attendant who checked my van in was totally unprofessional. I returned the van 3 hrs early, cleaner than I picked it up and had more gas than when I received it. They did not bother to acknowledge that, or thank me for my business. This has to be one of the WORST experiences I have had. I will never do business with U-HAUL again.

VERY FRUSTRATING. I booked on 14th Street but was sent to Piedmont. Then got charged 2 days including 2 days worth of insurance for an 8 hour ride. Sent a note to the person (or computer) who sent the receipt and haven't heard anything for over 48 hours and counting.

This location was in a far too congested part of town. While not the fault of the staff it was extremely inconvenient with a trailer. I had deliberately booked a reservation on the website at another location (Shallowford rd) but when I showed up with a confirmed rental they just didnt have it. Their solution was to send me to this location which ultimately addded 2 hours into my trip each way.

While I have used this Atlanta location on several moves successfully, this experience was very disappointing. The trailer door malfunctioned repeatedly and required extreme effort to engage. My dolly was never loaded onto my trailer. and the destination for my travel was incorrectly entered! The Pittsburgh office was amazing and helped to rectify all my issues!

I originally reserved my truck online and chose additional insurance. Safe move plus and a special policy called safe passenger coverage for COVID-19. When picking up the truck there was a technical difficulty on the U-Haul side, as well as an employee who was new and only had been working there 2 days. I was told that they had to start my reservation over as a “walk in”. I said to the the employee inputting the information into the computer, and the training employee, make sure I have the same additional insurance and Covid insurance. The new girl didn't know what that was and the training employee came over, pointed to a few things on the screen and went back to her area. When I signed the paperwork I paid an additional $128 for what was listed as additional fees for Safe Move insurance. I assumed this was for the additional insurance and the Covid coverage. I ended up needing the additional insurance due to a health issue with Covid 19. Well apparently the additional coverage I ordered was not included on my truck rental like I requested, was verbally confirmed by both employees, and am being told basically, sorry...wish we could help you! I have tried to reach the on site office countless times and never can I get through. I am no longer in the state (hence, needing the U-Haul) so am not able to stop by in person. I have spoke to the insurance company countless times, who has been instructed by U-Haul corporate not to acknowledge coverage. I am hoping that someone from U-Haul with the ability to assist me will read this and contact me, as I would like to get this resolved without any further escalation! This is if no fault of my own and in my mind a simple solution would be to pull the tapes of the 10 or so cameras in the office and play back the transaction and conversation that was had at the time of rental.

Customer service very poor. He is engaged in a small talk with a customer and refused to answer my question saying that he has to finish serving the customer. I came before the customer and had to come for a question. I was moving out of town and was very late. He could answer my question easily. Both employees were very unhelpful. I don't want to have to work with people like that. They should get training on a professional customer service or leave.

Air conditioning the facility did not work for my climate controlled 5x5 storage unit in which I was going to store precious artwork. My first visit to my unit I found a backpack full of sexual toys and items and drugs as I was going to put a lock on my locker. I was refunded with no questions asked by one month of storage fees which I appreciated. Has a side note I did not have much faith with the management of the facility not returning phone calls or dressing my issues directly.

Upon arrival my climate control room was 92 degrees and the light didn't work. When I talked to the staff he said he couldn't help and he didn't have any bulbs.

Uhaul did a great job. The facility was clean, I had an easy time entering and exiting, as well as an easy time getting my movers in a place to move me into storage and move me out a few months later.
