Best Customer Service skills, update your computers, you are located on one of busiest streets in Atlanta have more than one person in office , learn how to multi task with clients, and when you make a mistake admit and don't try to rush through with an attitude because you mad a mistake. I waited in line for close to 25 minutes to pick up my reserved u-haul. There was only one employee behind the desk. He was not moving quickly. Another older man was sitting in the shop. He appeared to be an employee but was not doing anything. There were no dollies available to rent, even though I had asked if there would be when I confirmed my reservation over the phone. I had to buy one because I was moving furniture alone. It was an incredibly frustrating experience.

There were cigarette butts in the cargo area of the truck along with ash as though someone had smoked a few cigarettes in the cargo area of the truck. I had to clean this out before using.

Your employees can follow up and meet your customer at the truck or come right out with the customer when returning the truck like they said they would. Instead of multiple times having the customer ask if they're sure nothing else was needed and your employee saying everything was good while they ate their chips at the desk not seeming too concerned or helpful. If the employee was more helpful with the return of the truck this would ensure the customer that everything was taken care of correctly instead of being billed after leaving the location to find out I've been charged extra fuel Fees even though I re filled the truck with the same amount of fuel that was told to refill and having a receipt for proof.

The day I dropped off my equipment I was ignored by the staff person who was the only one working my daughter and I waited for at lease 35 minutes. He said I had a choice to get an email or a receipt, we choose a receipt. He stated it will be a little before I can get it! We waited 35 minutes and his line was out the door and we where ahead of all of the crowd. Then I said sir what bout us? He then stopped and let me look at a electric receipt on a phone type device it show I owed zero. So I still wanted a receipt. He was getting frustrated because when he tried to print it out he said the card would not go through. I said why are you trying to charge my card he would not answer. Then I said how much are you trying to charge me for he saint $62 dollars. I said how is that possible when you showed me zero. He would not answer me or my daughter for a long while. Then I asked what are the charges for my miles only, again he would not answer until I kept pressing the issue. He made us wait more and more then I said get your manager. The people in line start yelling at my daughter and I cursing us for holding them up in the line. The people and him kept saying pay now are dispute the charges later, I told him I only want to know what are you charging me for? Still no answer! The people have escalated toward my daughter and me, I got scared because it was verbally aggressive and the worker guy did not defend us at all he was not calmling any one of those people down. I was scared that we would be beaten by the mob of people which was just about everyone that was there. Then one particular lady kept yelling and screaming at us. Then finally after 2hours of us being there with this guy the manager comes. Patreace walks in screaming at the lady who is screaming at me that she was going to violently beat the mess out of me. I am still seated in the chair (I am handicapped that’s why I needed to sit). While the manager and her are exchanging words then they both finally calmed down. Mind you I never scream or yelled at anyone. Then the manager asked me what’s my problem as if I started the whole altercation. I just told her what I asked the young man. I said how do I own $62 for a truck being returned in 24 hours and my mileage was very low. I said it should be less than that especially if I had to pay $34 to get the truck. Then she looked again and said it will be $32 and while I was about to pay she realized it was only $28. I paid and got my receipt. The boss Patreace was visibly upset and said to everyone I had to come in on my day off. I guess that was my fault to. I left with no apology from neither one. Please do not return your item without getting a paper receipt the email receipt thing does not work in your benefit unless you don’t mind being charged for stuff they cannot explain. I feel I was going to poked in the eye by not getting a paper receipt. I know now that the guy was trying to just get us out the store. H

It was an absolutely terrifying experience dropping off the van. There were two customers fighting with each other. One was very violent. I felt bad for the staff who are so nice there, but I literally had to give my keys and run out the door with my last friend who was with me who had locked herself in the car, and I was in fear for my son’s life who was sitting in the car and our lives. I will use another UHaul location not because of the staff or service, but because of the dangerous clientele.

I first reserved after hours pick up at the Zonolite Road location. When that didn't work, I called service and after a long wait was told that I had arrived too late. So they made a new reservation for Sunday at 10am. I still couldn't pick it up. After another long wait for service, I was told that this location does not allow for after hours pick up. I was then sent to the Piedmont location which only had a much larger (20ft) truck. The line was long because they were unable to fulfill reservations from other customers. The women working there were very friendly. But they forgot to give me the pads and dolly I had ordered. When I returned I was told that the charges for these items would be removed but they were not. I called today and after another very long wait was told that the charges would be removed. We will see.

I had a concern about billing and being overcharged for equipment I never had and I tried to resolve the issue on the local level before reaching out to corporate. The general manager Timothy, told me he would refund me for being overcharged and I haven’t received the refund in the time allotted. He also didn’t fully read my email before giving a response to my concerns.

The employee was rude and extremely unprofessional. The access to the drop off location was abandoned by the employee and we struggled for 20 minutes trying to get the trailer off the hitch. Then he gave cryptic instructions that were inappropriate.

Incorrect gas mileage was recorded and I have pictures to prove it. Manager did not call back after two attempts and has still not called me back. The store is forwarding all calls to customer service which should only be used when you’re store is busy. They are abusing the phone system and you cannot reach anyone in the store. You owe me money !

The location and people working there were great. Pick up of the vehicle and return was easy and fast. My only complaint is that I requested furniture pads and two furniture dollies when I reserved it online. I was told via the online reservation that I was guaranteed this equipment. However, I had to ask for them when I got there and was initially told there were no furniture dollies available. I eventually was able to get one dolly, but I was frustrated that I didn’t get the amount I was told I would, and that apparently the location did not know about my request.

The customer service at this location was terrible. I called asking if I had left an ID card with no reply. I would recommend the location more if there was a more serious and professional staff.
