The truck had issues and was slightly well run. The steering was awkward and had space. The alignment was off and when you step on the break, it veers to the right. Pretty dangerous for someone with limited experience driving. I had specifically requested for a decent truck but the representative was shady enough to give me this one.

Hire people who make you look good. Hire people who speak correct English and who have customer service experience. The GM never emailed me back and I know he received it because the email never came back. I guess the next step is contacting corporate about my experience. Never rent from them. Go somewhere when your money is appericiate and we’ll spent like any other paying customer.

There were no considerable discounts offered. The staff were awesome. They were attentive to each and every customer / guest one on one. Each fulfilled extraordinary customer service to great epectations.

The two gentleman that were there when I made my U-Haul reservation were very attentive and I appreciated their patience as they answered all my questions. It was overall, a pleasant experience. However, this can not be said for the employees that were there when I came for the actual pick-up of the truck. I walked in and I only saw a female working at the computer, without looking up at me to greet me, she told me that the other male employee would assist me. I approached him, and he was wearing dark sunglasses inside the building and asked to see my ID. While taking my information, another male employee walks out from the back, from what I presume to be the bathroom because he remarked crude comments regarding the state of the toilet and swore several times. The gentleman that was assisting me was having issues with the computer and appeared to not know what to do. After several attempts, he was able to give me the keys to my rental. These specific employees lacked professionalism in their manners and I felt very uncomfortable with the experience. I do not appreciate listening to foul descriptions of the state of the bathroom, nor do I appreciate the way I was treated. Luckily, one of the gentleman that helped me with my initial visit was there when I returned to the store later to return the rental.

I did try to return the trailer to 14th Street Storage which is a big uhaul dealer and they turned me away and said "I dont take trailers" even tho there were trailers on the lot. Would not return or recommend the 14th street location. Piedmont was excellent!

first truck I was offered had someone sleeping inside and no passenger side mirror - makes it difficult to merge in traffic when you cannot see what is or isn't next to you while driving. had to walk back inside, wait in line again, request a new truck. that truck had less than a quarter tank of gas and the drivers side mirror would not remain in a reasonable position during travel so that I could see who...or who wasn't next to me.

The woman at the desk was very nice and treated the customers very well, but the area had many homeless people around that were bothering her and other customers. She handled it well and took care of everyone without incident, but I think that I would try going to another location.

This was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. We arrived around 9am to unhook our auto transport. We were told to bring the truck and transport around the back and through the gate which we did. Once we did this, we waited for several minutes before having to go back up to the office for assistance with removing the auto transport. The manager sent out an employee who lacked any kind of professionalism. He told us that he couldn’t remove the transport because of where we were parked despite being told to park there. He said we needed to move the truck to another location that was being blocked off by other trucks. When we told him this was obviously impossible, he said he didn’t know what to tell us and walked away. We then had to go back up to the office again and demand a manager. The manager was busy with other customers, but was able to assist us after about 30 minutes. She came out and ended up removing the auto transport from the same location that the other employee told us he couldn’t remove it from. Overall, this was a terrible experience. We were on hold with U-Haul customer service for several minutes during this episode, but ended up hanging up because the wait was too long. I feel like I should be refunded for the auto transport or something. This experience will make it very unlikely that I rent from U-Haul ever again.
