I was ripped of by a shady worker named Stacy (male). I drove 8 miles total, somehow that's a quarter of a gas tank according to him. Will be calling corporate to file complaint. Would like to see how a quarter tank is equal to 8 miles. Also it would have been 4 miles total if Uhaul honored my original appointment Basically ya suckDMITRY P.

Because I didn't perform a proper inspection of the entire trailer. I missed the worn tire on the left side. When I stopped for gas, I could smell burnt rubber and looked at tire and noticed the worn condition and missing tread pieces.Michael D.

The van I rented was filthy both outside and inside. It was dusty, dirty, and there were empty drink containers inside the vehicle. The outside was dirty as well, but I had to wipe down the steering wheel because it was so gross.CARLA G.
The pictures of this truck on the link for us to check and rate were all wrong - they must have been taken when the truck was new. This truck was BEAT UP! and we ended up having to return it early to a different location due to it shaking so bad! When we rented it traffic was terrible and the shaking was not detected. They first delivery we made the truck shook so badly our team refused to drive it anymore.Jeena T.
The personnel (Kristen) was amazing! She was extremely helpful and attentive. She was beyond helpful. We rented 3 Uhauls yesterday, two 26' trucks and one 15' truck. We did have to call roadside for one of the 26' trucks upon getting our rental back to our location due to there being a huge gash in the tire (it was not leaking air) - we spotted this with Kristen while doing the walk around - but since they did not have another truck we were advised to take it and call roadside asst. that afternoon so it could be replaced prior to us using it this morning for work related travel. The other 26' truck has an oil light on - the oil pressure is good (remained in the middle) we were advised to just drive it if we felt safe doing so. So that is what we are doing. The 15' truck - we had to rent because it was a replacement for the 17' truck that we rented on November 3rd and are supposed to return on the 13th. the 17' truck was shaking terribly - and we were not comfortable driving it any longer. The experience with Kristen at Your Extra Attic was amazing but I do feel that Uhaul should service it's trucks better. All three of our trucks had an issue!Jeena T.

I was told by an employee that I would be reimbursed if I went over with refilling the gas tank. The assistant manager was standing right beside the employee but didn't say anything. When I returned the next day to return the vehicle the assistant manager told me they don't offer refunds if the gas is refilled over what it was given as. My reservation started at 9am, and was due for return at 11am. Staff did not open store until 9:01, and I did not get checked out until 9:21. Staff would not extend my rental by the 21 minutes it took them to check me out, which caused me not to be able to move what I needed. Staff said, â€œWhat do you want me to do about it?â€ And â€œAnd??â€ I will never use Uhaul again. I suggest staff open the doors at 8:30 so that the first 9am rentals get their full reservation time. And fire all staff here. Unfriendly, and sounded like robots rattling off, â€œNO EXCEPTIONS. If you are late, we will charge you $150 plus extra for each 15 minutes you are late.â€ What a joke.Tyler S.

The personnel were friendly. I did schedule twice with Uhaul requested a furniture dolly both times and neither time was it available. When we walked into this location, there was a very drunk homeless man that would not leave us alone, hassling customers, by getting in our faces, trying to touch us, (he did) and the young lady working there. It took about 30 minutes for a cop to arrive after she pressed the panic button! She then told us this guy comes in all the time, and they don't have any help trying to get him out of there. Oh I feel awful that she has to deal with this Man that said he was going to kill her and throw her in the river. Her name is Trell. It was easy to rent and a convenient location. I pre-registered with license and information and the pick up was quick and easy. The van parked out front for pick-up. Return was also very easy and quick. The one thing - and likely my fault - I didn't realize there was a 30 minute pick-up window before the booking was cancelled. Thankfully, the person called to remind me and held the booking as I was about 10 minutes longer then the 30 minutes but she held it for me.Jeffrey R.

Stood in the line for over 30mins, they only have 1 staff working and she was wandering around taking her time while chatting on her phone. When I got the truck I found out the gas was 1/8 lower than what was indicated by the staff/ document. I was charged an extra $30 for fuel, I have disputed the bill but it's already charged on my credit card. Still have not heard back from any representative on this.Ka L.
The employee who provided us the service was rude and not very helpful with answering my questions. I was the one providing the information, paying and had my name on the contact yet she kept addressing my boyfriend with her questions. The price given to me in the shop was way higher than what I was supposed to pay online on the website. The truck had a faint smell of urine. The brakes worked but they were slightly slow to brake. I ended up paying 300% of what I was supposed to pay (originally $30, paid $94). Horrible experience will not do this again.Saja J.

I moved to Atlanta,GA from New York City/tri-state area. I booked my storage unit in March and arrived to ATL in July. When scheduling my truck and storage unit in March, the automated e-Mail from the U-Haul company did not contain any move in information, only truck return by date. Because I did not move in by a specific date expected by the company, my storage unit was canceled by the company. Kiera came to my rescue and corrected the company mistake. Kierra found my requested storage unit and I moved in on the day I requested. Kierra was very understanding of my traveling situation and accommodated my needs and expectations. The company of U-Haul is below satisfactory but Kierra fixed an issue that should not have been existent. Beware with using the U-Haul company. My reservation for a 10x20 unit was not honored I had called repeatedly and visited in person week prior to confirm all- yet I arrived w movers and was told not available. There was one 10x15 available. After exploring I took it. I did not have any choice at that point. It’s ceiling has a rip w insulation hanging and no lightbulb. I was told no more lightbulbs in units and they would put in work order for ceiling- but now we have all our items stacked in the unit so don’t see how they can repair. It should have been fully repaired before move in allowed. My customer service contacts were very nice and very helpful but their capacity to deliver service seemed compromised by your system. There was only one service person there as well. You really need to better support your employees to deliver better customer service Also the back gate broken.Sheila M. | First Impressions
