My Ubox got lost for a day which wouldn't typically be a big deal but I had movers come help me the day of and waited around all day with nothing to do, I called uhaul offices and was ping-ponged back and forth between representatives for about five hours all telling me something different. Two said my box was in route and to be patient and the other three representatives said that my box had been lost. It was massively stressful and by the end of the day I sent the movers home and couldn't manage to get any for the next day so I had to unload myself which was very difficult because I had a lot of heavy furniture. Other than that fiasco I will say that the man that came and delivered my ubox was very kind and did an amazing job parking that thing on the incredibly narrow street that I live on. That being said I doubt i'll ever use this option again.

I requested a pickup 10 minutes from my house. Night before was contacted and redirected to another location 1hour and 20 minutes from my home. When I was 20 minutes from the new pickup location I was called telling me that I could pick it up at noon. At 12:15pm I called uhaul and was told that the trailer had not been returned. I was then told that I had to drive another hour plus to Philadelphia to pick up the trailer. Staff was nice but I was extremely upset and disappointed by my whole uhaul experience.

Everything worked out great! My only complaint was upon the return. My truck was due back at 5:30pm. I had it back by 4:45. But, at 5:45 I got a phone call saying the truck wasn't returned and I ended up in a panic. I told the person on the phone that truck was there and after about 5 minutes they came back on the phone and just said - ok we got it - and conversation ended abruptly.

I have rented from this location several times. But on this day both employees were cold, evasive, and clearly having a terrible day. And the van was filthy in the back. It obviously had not been cleaned anywhere. During a global pandemic, this is highly alarming.

There were many people on line waiting and only one person at the counter. there were other employees just hanging out in the employee office at 9:30am while i waited for 30 minutes to just pick up my.vehicle... then when i returned they said i can just return car through my phone but i never received the text prompt... overall a frustrating experience.

The guy I came in contact with when returning the U-haul truck was really rude. He told me to go into my text that yall sent me and leave the keys. In the mist of me trying to tell him that i didn't receive anything about returning the vehicle he started texting on his phone and began getting smart. After about 10 minutes of me standing there i asked him is he printing out my paper he responded No I'm not helping you. He was very disrespectful! I usually would go to 12thand Washington Ave but since it was a little closer I decided to go to this one. That was a big mistake. I will never go back there again!!! I will put his pic and this company on my social media so no one won't go there either!

The vehicle given to me had a rear door ajar malfunction. It was fine during the day, but at night the van interior light would not turn off. I could not keep the truck overnight or I would risk the battery dying. Please fix that truck. The associates were cordial and helpful. It was just the van.

The staff person at this location who handled my rental was unnecessarily obnoxious and egotistical. To be clear I have complete and absolute respect for retail transaction workers. There is never an excuse to be rude. He was argumentative, his ego is too involved in his job and needs to be right about everything. Even while I was on the phone discussing the strangeness of my experience with a third party, he was interjecting, commenting and quasi threatening to not complete the rental. I have been to multiple haul locations and rented. This location requires the renter to provide a second verification phone number of someone to call who must answer the phone. The policy is completely stupid because its not used in other locations and this is why you leave a credit card. My phone was also damaged a few days before the rental, there is a software error that requires replacement and the phone does not connect to lactation services. fir that reason I could not complete the online return. The Uhaul employee asked me to give him my phone so he could check, a completely ridiculous request even if we were not in a contagious pandemic. Basically the service here really sucks, the entire experience from was aggravating. It takes a lot to piss me off. Your employees at this location are egotistical clowns who need to take their jobs more seriously than their egos.

This location is very close to my house (I walked to pick up the truck). All the equipment was clean but I ordered the wrong vehicle first had to bring it back and exchange it for a larger vehicle (my fault). All of the associates were nice but The wait to get the second truck was ridiculous. One customer just wanted to buy a retail item and pay cash. The wait for that alone was long because no one had a drawer in to give him change three hours after the store had opened. I'm still unclear if they were able to transfer my order to the new truck or if I had to close out one and order another. I'm still not 100% sure what I've been charged in the end. I have the dollar amount but just not sure what's included in the dollar amount charged to my card. The first van was fine but the truck was in rough shape in the cab. The sun visor was broken on the driver side and can make it difficult to see, the glass on the dashboard was cracked and broken in some places, the knob used on the crank to roll down the window also would not stay attached. Mechanically, the truck worked fine, the issues were with some inconveniences while driving and the overall wait time to get the truck. Associates were nice about bringing it back. The app wouldn't recognize my location so I couldn't complete the self-check in. Someone was still there (after closing time) and he took the keys to do the check in the next morning

The staff were always excellent and professional. Had easy access to the storage unit. However, it was also easy access for rodents and many of our things had mice droppings on them. That issue would really make me consider using a storage unit again.

When I got in the truck there was a bolt on the front seat as well as a receipt on the floor which makes me question if it was ever sanitized. The questions and all the work I had do for keeping safe is also very time consuming. I also originally booked my truck for 8:00am - 8:00pm and was told the afternoon before that I needed to return it at 3:00pm after I had received a confirmation a week before for 8-8.

So, my experience was not great. No one likes to be on hold for an hour just to either be hung up on, ignored or be told that once again that you contacted the wrong location. On top of all if this there is a lack of communication between the various service departments and adherence to customer needs. Last, but not least, I was initially very upset at the suggested resolve for my boxes not being moved to the correct location. I don't think that I will be inclined to use this service again.

I was over charged. I used the van for about two hours and was charged 94.07 on the first day 9/01/20 ,and on 9/02/20 another $23.00 plus which showed some inconsistencies. I will not be surprised if another amt is deducted from my debit card.

I'm very disappointed with my drop off location.and Uhaul itself. I accidently locked the key to the truck in the truck. My wife and I were on hole over 1/2 an hour trying to get in touch with Uhaul or road side assistance and finally gave up and left a note at the drop off location. The next day I contacted Uhaul and advised them of the key issues . I was contacted by the drop off personnel later that day and they were not nice or helpful in trying to find a locksmith in their area. I am from New Jersey and do not know the Phila. area where I dropped off the truck. I was completely astounded that the person I spoke with could not provide me with a company to retrieve the key. I'm sure I'm not the first person to do this. His response to me was "look it up on the internet.". I was also charged an extra day even know I self checked the truck in on time. I also just found out that I'm getting charged $150.00 for a locksmith to come out which I think is entirely too much money. I think $100.00 is a little more reasonable. I'm a 61 year old veteran who has used Uhaul on numerous occasions throughout my life but will no longer use them for future moves. I have 2 kids in college and I'm sure I will be using rental trucks in the future. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 609-374-7457.

They did not set up the trailer correctly on my car. It came off a few blocks away from the UHaul location. Luckily, the chains stopped the trailer from crashing into my car or any other car on the street.

one tire was very low pressure. staff was fine - what i hate and give low rating for is the mandatory self-return process. why am i paying the same price as a year ago but now i have to do all the work of returning the vehicle? using the internet drains my battery and i almost had to leave without completing the return b/c my phone was about to die. The worst service in the history that I have ever encountered. People are rude, I reserved truck and auto transport 3 wks in advance but when the day came they dont have them. I had to traveled 56 mins away to get truck and another location far away to get auto transport. Overall, HORRIBLE!!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

The wait was exhausting. It was so bad that the customers almost started to fight over their spot in the line. After waiting for about two hours no exaggeration I and other customers were leaning on the boxes. Their was only one customer service agent who also answered the phone while he was conducting business. He stop and took a bathroom break and also ate snacks ( no kidding I was there that long. He continuously apologized for the long wait while he chuckled. I didn't know what could have been so funny. A customer tried to purchase boxes, he had a $100. ..the register wouldn't open the customer service had to call the manger by phone for the keys. He went to the back several times before he could get the cash drawer open. It was horrible my only fear is I may need to go back there 😩

You didn't even have the truck I requested at first. Then I get to the new location and I wait 30 minutes because the service was slow and somehow my total went up by $50. then the location who didn't even have my truck and tried charging me for a truck that they lost the keys to and charges me anyway. I got double charged because your staff is incompetent. I would never recommend your service to anyone after The experience I had, And waiting 2 hours to find missing keys and never being told anything.

Both Uhaul employees onsite were wearing their masks pulled down under their chins (essentially the same as not wearing a mask), which is a big safety issue. The truck itself was clean and in good condition, but the employees were also a bit rude when I tried to return the truck, because the Uhaul location service was not working and I could not use the online return functionality.

I waited with other customers for hours to receive access to my reserved storage unit. This location was very poorly staffed and the only team member there did the best he could (he'd only been working there for 3 weeks). If it weren't for the wait I would have had MORE THAN ENOUGH time to drop my reserved truck at 6pm. I learned that I qualify for a free month of storage and they couldn't figure out how to apply the discount. It's clear the people running this location do not care about business or customer service. I don't plan on using uhaul ever again.

If you're looking for a place that follows COVID guidelines, this isn't the place to rent. Don't expect an early start from the office staff at this location. Even though the sign says opening 7AM, the manager opened the store at 7:32AM. Do everything online beforehand if you can. In-person is painfully slow. Using the 24/7 Truck Share is apparently the way to go. If you approach the counter with a negative attitude, don't expect any of the staff to help you. In my 6 hour moving day, I spent about 1 hour packing/unpacking my boxes and 5 hours standing around waiting for either U-Haul customer service or an employee. Oh, and I almost forgot how they read my credit card number out loud, multiple times, to a room of people. Now I get to monitor my credit cards for the next month and deal with getting them replaced.

Customer service agent asked for a second phone number which I gave him one. He went ahead and dialed the number without my concent and called my wife who was in the hospital just to make sure she knew me. I understand calling if there is a problem with the equipment or stolen and then you call the second number or at least ask the customer if it's ok to call the number for reference. When returned the vehicle, I returned it at 9.30 am but they put down 11.30 on the invoice and hence charged me for extra day. This is not the first time it happened and looks like a pattern from uhaul to ripe off customers.

The staff there have no customer service skills. The location is not properly staffed. Whether you make a reservation or not, be prepared to wait at least and 45 min to an hour. When you try to complete mobile pick up, You will not be able to complete the process. I even saw customers buying supplies walk out. Apparently one person rang them up and another had to check them out because he had the only cash drawer. So after waiting for maybe 20 min, they picked up their money and left. I will never use this location again. I'll go back to 12th and Washington Ave.

Several times, all three workers left the store, were hiding, didn't want to deal with a problem they created. Zero customer service. Go to another location to rent.

Jankiest damn Uhaul I've ever driven and not great service either. Charging $25 for a cleaning (without clearly indicating that this cost would be passed to the user) and then the employees aren't wearing masks in the enclosed, poorly-circulating space (when mounting evidence is indicating that the virus spreads through stale indoor air, and not fomites)? That's not just a ripoff, that's actively irresponsible. I wouldn't complain about customer service quality normally - lord knows we all have enough problems as it is - but we're in the middle of a goddamn pandemic here.

I am going through a rough situation right now- I was evicted from my apartment during this pandemic which caused a great deal of anxiety but when I left the storage unit I felt relieved and accommodated!
