Everything was great. Pickup and reutrn were easy and I accomplished everything I wanted to with the truck.

Eric Z.When I entered the vehicle I used my phone to fill out the approval rental checklist. My contract stated that the gas tank was half full, I noted that this was incorrect and uploaded a photo of the gauge showing just under one quarter full and added notes to this effect. I droped off the vehicle an hour later with three eights of a tank of gas. Arrving home I was emailed a receipt with a seventeen dollar charge for feul. This prompted a call with an over ten minute wait time, I chose a call back in ten to fifteen minutes. After thirty minutes with no call back I called again, a very helpful representative confirmed my account of the situation transferred me to customer service, another ten to fifteen minute wait until that person could assist me with a refund in the next two to three days. So, I followed all instructions, entered all information with photos to your platform, was overcharged then had to waste over an hour on a busy day (I rented the truck for a time sensitive project)with your customer service to have to wait a few days for a financial correction. Not a great experience.

This dummy got my name somehow and has been harassing me about a lock for ten months. Hangs up when I tell him he has the wrong person. Noone I know could have given him my information. Real problem this guy.
Andrew H. | Overall ExperienceThis location filed a police report 9 months after I dropped it off in another state saying it was a "stolen vehicle" without even making contact with me first, and this is unacceptable and shameful (possibly illegal). This location wasn't even aware that I had a one-way trip to a destination other than theirs and thus never even attempted to contact that location to see if I dropped it off there before filing a police report - obviously I had indeed dropped it off per the contract. It is my goal to never use UHaul again after this and I will let others know that the company undertakes backhanded and seedy practices of never giving receipts or formal paperwork upon dropoff (yet later demanding them or saying I'll be liable) and attempting to force you to pay them for a "stolen trailer" nearly a year after.

Mark G.The guys need to start checking the backs of the truck. There was pieces of styrofoam all over and a 16 foot pipe in the back of my 26 foot rental today.
Derrick J.Some of the worst customer service we have experience in our lives. We moved across the country and picking up a truck and dropping it off was supposed to be the easy part and uhaul made it absolutely horrendous. I have never stood in front of a person for 5 minutes waiting for them to even acknowledge my existence while they sit at the desk and pretend like I am not there. Zero communication, zero information about our rental. Not a single person at the uhaul facility in quartermaster plaza in Philadelphia had any idea what was going on with our reservation drop off, payment info, refund info. They did not even seem to know anything about their own facility. Prices, storage unit locations, hours. How do you run a business like that? Serious question. We have paid uhaul close to $3000 for the worst moving experience of our lives. We returned the uhaul with hundreds less miles than estimated and with more gas in the vehicle then when we picked it up and we still have not heard anythinf about being refunded the difference in the cost we originally paid. We are not going to let this go because It is truly unacceptable and something needs to be done about it. At the bare minimum, we need to be refunded for the difference in mileage/gas from the original payment versus how many miles we actually drove. JEROME M.My rental was taken in and I was charged a gas fee when I already filled it back to the amount I received it with. That info is clearly on the contract. Was a big show of on the phone, going back to location, asked by the Manager for a pic of what the gas was when I dropped it off(good thing I backed myself up), also asked for a pic of gas when I picked it up which all customers need to do when picking up so he should know that & not ask me for it. Was not pleased.

U-Haul box location isn’t convenient for the storage area, but I’m not sure how common it is to unload the crates into a regular storage unit. Seems like there should be a way to make this process more convenient for the customer. I realize it’s a warehouse, and mice are common but my belongings had mouse feces and urine all over it. You might want to treat the area. Staff seems happy and very helpful, although always very busy and wait times were long.

After 90 minutes they gave me a 10x7 that was reserved by someone else. This unit had a uhaul lock on it for 3 weeks and they couldn’t remove it. Don’t know why. They don’t keep bolt cutters around??? I said I shouldn’t be charged rent for those 3 weeks the employee refunded my money and started over with rentinG a different unit The manager finally steps out of his office after hearing the employees struggling to fix the issues and reprimand him for refunding my money and spoke down to me as it was my problem that I didn’t let him know there was a problem getting into the unit. It would have been different if they had a key to remove the lock but couldn’t give access to the unit. It doesn’t matter if I physically started moving stuff in 3 weeks after I rented it.. the employees didn’t follow up at all to make sure it wasn’t and issue. They forgot about me as soon as I walked out the door. And the manager/ owner was a jerk

He said to me that I would have to pay another month's rent in order to change the due date. I told him never mind and I hung up the phone.

I moved all of my items out the day my next payment was due, but they would not let me end my lease because I didn't provide 24 hour notice. I understand that those are their terms, but they were able to end my lease and chose not to so they could acquire another month's rent. I confirmed this with corporate. Also, I had to come back from over an hour away to remove the lock a month later. Now, I'll make sure I never use Uhaul storage again because I'd rather pay more and have better customer service.
