Our truck had no working AC and hot air blowing on my legs while driving. Very uncomfortable having such heat constantly while you are driving on a highway. Also the loading door would not open or close without EXTREME force.Adrienne R.

Everything. U-haul would not let my movers that I hired MONTHS ago take my u-box because the u-box was broken. Unsure how the box provided by u-haul being broken is my issue?????????????????????? I was told that I would have to come get it and rent a truck. I asked if I could rent the truck that day but the lady said she had other customers and would have to do it online. Mind you this was 15 minutes before closing. I was unable to get my furniture and belongings until 8 pm the next day. I was told the general manager of the store would get in touch with me the next day. We didn't hear from her until 2 pm because she said she had a 72 hour window to reach back to customers (unsure why there wasn't a note attached expressing the severity of our situation). I cannot believe the person working was comfortable with turning away hired and paid movers right before closing. We had to sleep on the floor. The next day was spent trying to get in touch with u-haul. I called first thing in the morning and was on the phone for an hour. Then, I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes before on hold before speaking with someone that could actually help me. Your customer service needs to be absolutely COMPLETELY revamped. I also would like some kind of refund for the headache and complete inconvenience of this mess. An absolute fiasco.Jessica W.

Even though I was pre-checked in and had uploaded my license it still took about 45 minutes waiting in line, and this was with only three parties in front of me. There is always only one person at the counter 85 percent of the time. That person is expected to answer phones and take rental orders which can last almost 20 minutes. This leaves a long line of people waiting. The people at the counter are great. They need some help!RENEE T.

It was a huge hassle — I couldn’t get the online reservation to work, so came in person. Was told AFTER paying that they don’t have the required locks and to go to Home Depot who doesn’t have the same lock for sale, so had to cancel the whole thing after an hour. THE Milage was wrong and I denied to check it off we submitted a picture of the milage> when I ask the owner (Who was very Rude & Conceited) to view the picture he said I don't have it! I did not travel 90 or 80 miles in that truck ! when I got the truck it was nasty trash all in the back, Nothing was clean ! the seats were dirty, the windshield was smeared with some type of liquid on it I thought it was the outside so I didn't worry too much but when I started to drive away I use the windshield wiper fluid to clean it off, it was the inside of the windsheild the outside. This whole ordeal was a Nightmare ! I will NEVER RENT A U-HAUl TRUCK FROM THAT LOCATION EVER!!!!! And I refuse to pay for 90 miles I did not travel in your truck! Stop overbooking the trucks. I booked a reservation with U-Haul specifically because it said the truck I need was available for 12 hours. I was called the day before pickup and told the truck is actually only available for six hours. They offered to rent me a cargo van instead; the point is if I KNEW it was only available for six hours, I would never have made the reservation in the first place. I would have used a different company. U-Haul needs to start honoring its reservations, or fix whatever broken system is used to make them. This was my second time using U-Haul. The first time (same location) they changed my pickup location to 8 miles away the night before. At almost $2 a mile, that would have added at least $30 to my bill. I ended up having to rent two cargo vans and hire a driver for the second one. Long story short, I will never use U-Haul again.Adam M.

Sales reps were not very helpful. Not accommodating to help. Gave poor instructions. Went in month ahead of time to understand process, told to return a week ahead of needed date. When I got there told. We can't help you on a Saturday go on line to do it. Folks rent a truck maybe once or twice in there life, a little assistance would be nice. Oh and there is a 50 mile minimum and was given a truck with 34 miles of gas. Thankfully only went 7. That's all a have to say. I accomplished my task.Gaeten D.

Truck was disgusting. Dried ice cream all over the front cab and broken glass in the back. I took pictures and still wanted to charge ME for cleaning when I dropped it off. If you pay 811$ for a i haul you shouldn't have to smell sour ice cream and have your feet stick to the floor.Jennifer J.

We opted for the retun via cell phone as it was after hours. We did the whole process but the system kept giving us error at the end. The pick up was very confusing; we did a online check in but all the informatin was asked again. the person at the desk did all he had to do but seemed burnt-out and almost annoyed. I reserved a 10' truck & got the reservation fine. Then 2 days later, they called to tell me I couldn't have it for my required time so I got a van instead. The van didn't have a license plate which means, it was not inspected by the staff before I picked it up. No one ever wore masks when I was in the office, or they put them on as I walked in. I moved all of my items out the day my next payment was due, but they would not let me end my lease because I didn't provide 24 hour notice. I understand that those are their terms, but they were able to end my lease and chose not to so they could acquire another month's rent. I confirmed this with corporate. Also, I had to come back from over an hour away to remove the lock a month later. This is the only location i will never go to ever again. My friends and family will all be told to stay away from here. I was disrespected over and over again. And so was my father who went to speak on my behalf. They made me pay for my 1st month of storage. After they lied to me and said that that location doesn't do that.
